it had been a long time since milan was winning. :) hope they won't be carried away with this and continue to build up a better performance for the next games. btw, why was bonera getting a red card?

The ref was crap for both teams, incredible bad.

First half was like no team was dominating, but we did have the best oportunities with Pippo.

Second half, well Bonera screwed, and suddenly the team had a lift up for some minutes, Kaka scored(the whole situation, being left with 10 men, Kaka scoring from long distance, reminded me of the game vs Club Brugge, I think, back in 03).

The midfield was dead, again, and I'm convince, Pirlo+Seedorf can't play together. It makes our whole display more predictable(even the commentators were stating how both of them seemed as if they didn't sleep well). Kaka was save because of the goal, and protecting the ball in the end, other than that, he was pretty much controlled.

Dida was amazing, again our best player, the reflex in the one the guy from Anderlecht was offside was incredible, even if the guy was offside.

Anyways, a win is a win, and we are one step closer to the qualification.

The goal although was AWESOME

We need to put all our efforts if we really want to get good results. Yeah we win but the team doesn't convinces. During the game I watched most of the players were like tired...They didn't put all their wills to the game  Only the ones as Kaka and Dida proved us they are fighting for good results but a team is made up of 11 players not 2.... :star: We need all of them

Forza KAKA.... Forza Dida...... Forza Milan!!!!!!

Ironically, Bonera’s sending off actually helped Milan won the game. Before the red card, Anderlech was basically waiting in their own half for Milan attack and will hit on the counter attack. Wih the one man advantage, Anderlech felt they could win the game, they poured forward and slightly abandoned their defensive approach. This is what Milan (and maybe us as audience) has been waiting for all night since the game suddenly opened up.

Milan goal was the result of a fast counter attack, 3-on-4 situation with Kaka, Seedorf and Pippo attacking in one single line. If you need more evidence on how smart and clever Pippo is, the goal is the evidence. He was waiting for Kaka to make a pass but when he saw that the line was too tight for Kaka to make an outlet pass, he pulled aside to the left and caused the defende to follow him. The defender’s movement opened a gap which Kaka powerfully exploited.

Regardless of the so-so performance, what really counts is the the fact that Milan is top of the group with 7 points and has not conceded a goal.

Man of the match : Kaladze.
It’s maybe an exaggeration but the way he defended (fast and powerful) reminds me of Maldini in 92-94.

Serginho?
I like him too, but on his position played Jankulowski who was one of the best MILAN players last night! By the way i haven't seen Serginho playing in an upfront position for a long time...

A good win, Milan definatly played better after going down to 10 men!
Seedorf disappointing, hope he hits top form for the derby!
Great game by Kala, Yanku and Dida!!
And we are still keeping clean sheets!
Can't be bad!

The number 10 is having a great effect on Seedorf coz ppl r starting 2 realize + see how bad he is making our midfield.
Also am happy 2 see some ppl mentioning that we cant handle both Pilro + Seedorf on the pitch @ the same time coz 2 slow + boring + predictable players is just 2 much 4 our already slow + boring + predictable midfield 2 handle.

Am happy 4 Dida + Yanku but yet sad 4 Simic since he is again been sacrificed even with his good performance @ the beginning of the season.

Pippo is wasting 2 much chances.
He better start scoring.
But @ least he is much better than the Pippo I know.

Oli + Gila r just 2 ordinary without a good midfield which we don’t posses this season thx 2 our management.

I hope Gourcuff is back soon coz IMO he is the only 1 who can give us something difference so we don’t get humiliated this season IF , & only if Yanku doesn’t join Simic on the bench 2 make bench 4 another grandpa by our great tacticians -- > Ancelotti.

A win is a win, but I'm still not convinced when it comes to the midfield, even the swedish commentators were like, why is Seedorf asleep on the field? :D
The positive thing for Gila fans, DAMN WHAT A CHANCE HE HAD ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it was so close, next time it'll be in the net :D

Galliani enjoys Belgian win Wednesday 18 October, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adriano Galliani was thrilled after Milan returned to winning ways away to Anderlecht. “It reminded me of Bruges three years ago,” said the club official.

The Rossoneri earned a 1-0 victory thanks to a magnificent strike from Kaka over their Group H rivals in the Champions League, despite being reduced to 10-men after Daniele Bonera’s dismissal shortly after half-time.

“We went through a difficult moment, but we managed to get back on track,” said the Vice-President after the match at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium in Brussels.

“It felt like Bruges three years ago, I guess Belgium first causes one of our men to be dismissed and then allows Kaka to break the deadlock,” continued Galliani, referring to the 1-0 away win in the 2003-04 Champions League group stage.

“The team proved that it has a strong personality. After the red card we could have suffered more, but the dismissal instead helped us to wake up and play better.

“Dida played an excellent match too after performing some spectacular saves.

“As for Kaka, we don’t like to use the word leader here at Milan – not even Marco Van Basten was given that title. I can only say that this squad includes great champions.”

Milan came from four straight draws and only one goal scored in those ties, but Galliani insists there was no need to speak of a crisis.

“We were unable to find the goal but we always created several scoring opportunities and that is the main thing.

“As for our summer market, we decided our moves on August 22, when we learned what our destiny would be.

“I do not regret any of our choices as this is a good team, but we are studying the situation carefully and will see what changes can be done.

“In any case we are not planning any operations in January, everything is postponed until next year,” concluded the former Lega Calcio chief.
