No ... I'd rather take their opinion on a subject than yours thank you.
You mean after I, together with the help of Kyara, educated you on the matter? You never said thanks, but you're welcome little one
So ... you want us to play something like:
---------------- Bori
-- Dinho ------- Pato ------- ??
------ new CM ------- Ambro/Flams
?
Still imbalanced, if you ask me. Unless if the right winger we bring in is a hard worker and contributes to both attack and defense. The new CM who would replace Pirlo would have to be a footballing god of sorts, as he would need to link up play between attack and defense + make runs for Dinho to pass to + cover for Dinho and the LB when they are caught out of position - which should be an often occurrence.
In addition, we would still need to make the more essential changes that our squad needs: fullbacks, cover for Nesta, a keeper, maybe a CF of more quality. Obviously, a lot of work.
Now ... I'm not for the idea of Dinho being sold this summer. I've been clear about it before ... we need to address the above mentioned areas first before thinking of changing him. He's settled in and has proved he can win us games. No doubting that. But compare your proposed lineup to something like:
----------- Bori -------- Pato
----------------- Dinho
--- Ambro -------- Pirlo ------- Flamini
More balanced, especially if we can bring in quality wingbacks: In case I should reiterate, quality wingbacks = those that can DEFEND as well as ATTACK ... not some Alves midgets.
Now, of course improvements off the bat are Bori for someone of more quality ... maybe a new LCM for Ambro/Clarence, who could even compete with Pirlo; And alternatives to Dinho in case he can't cope with the trequartista role. Doesn't need to be a trequartista per se ... could even be a more orthodox winger (preferably for the right), and we could lineup with a conventional 4-4-2, with Pato coming in from the left.
The whole idea is to change the focus of the team towards Pato. And if we were to bring in a worthy partner for him ... I dunno ... someone like Dzeko, the two of the together would be a handful for any defense as long they coordinate well together.
