Flamini should also be crucial ,no? he racked up 12 + last season ....Nocer did okay ,nice work to get the corner but was a peripheral figure

yes, but Flamini running for nothing. he just 'hanging around' the pitch.. not really contribute to the team. especially by forgetting his MAJOR role as a defensive midfielder.

Nocerino surely a better defensive midfielder.

I bet this is the way Galliani get rid overpaid, overrated Flamini.

for 500k he was very good against farca, most of the 500k players don't even draw against farca

still he needs to improve, tacticly and technique actually overall :)

11K for Milan. Bet Rino's can't even hit 8.

What do you want to bet? I'll take that one. Maybe even for 80 minutes or sth.

You know what is best. We paid 500k or he would come for free. We paid 7million for Prince and 4 for Urby. We paid 3million to buy Abae back. Prince and Abate are worth at least 10 now. Urby is easily worth the same if he gets a proper run, he already is worth about 7 in this inflated market. Now Nocerino, a proper DM who can come and don't shit pants while representing the biggest team in the world against the best one at the moment is worth gold. Man U went through dozens and still didn't find another Keane while we potentialy got a DM ready to play CL for 500k. How can you not love G?

not even in todays market abate is easily 15m - 25m so is boateng.

Nocerino is not the particularly talented ones , but his efforts make him a starter , he wont be the reason why our Midfield becomes great , but would be on the periphery of things , making sure its doesnt get screwed with.

Not an Ideal replacement for Rino ( Rino is just a better player , forget the age for now ) but he will serve us well.
Should be tried at MvB's position once. But I prefer this over anything , because he can run on the right strip if Abate fault's up.

I watched him closely today, and I must say, there was nobody in our midfield who took up such smart defensive positions. Fantastic buy for just 500k. We should try him as a pure DM, I'm sure he'd strive there.

Totally agree.

From what he has shown so far i would always pick him over the current Gattuso, Ambrosini.

Great play, never say die attitude to win the corner.

I dont care how much it costs. He did great yesterday and it was JUST his first start this season and it was against Barcelona.
Good that he's got Gattuso there. Gattuso will teach the kid some new stuff. I really hope he plays more often.

I don't see why people are critcising him so much. I honestly think he played pretty well considering this was his first ever start and he was up against the best team in the world. He also managed to get an assist on his debut and while his passing was poor at times he can hardly be faulted considering he is a left footed player playing at RCM (where he has never played before).

I think Allegri should consider putting Seedorf/Aquilani at RCM and Nocerino at LCM

Nocerino surely can't match Gattuso tenacity but his technical ability is miles better than Gattuso ever was. He's also far more clear headed than 'temperemental' Gattuso.Definetely a very worthy successor of Gattuso as Milan's future leading hardman.:)

Nocerino is the kind of transfer that every team needs to make an stronger squad: low cost, proven quality (he´s in national team squad) and young with nice future.

He could make his first start in the league for Milan at the San Paolo stadium in Napoli and for Antonio Nocerino, it definitely won’t be a game just like any other.

MILAN – Napoli-Milan is this weekend’s Big Match to be played on Sunday evening at 20.45 and for Antonio Nocerino, it will be an occasion to remember.

And not only because at the start of the summer the player was rumored to be on his way from Palermo to Naples instead of Milan.

The fact is that Antonio, Naples is something closer to his heart than most. It’s his hometown.

Antonio grew up in Montecalvario, a neighbourhood in the centre of the city. It’s where he first kicked a ball and made his first tackle.

Four years ago when playing for Piacenza against Napoli, the local boy couldn’t even bring himself to celebrate after scoring a fantastic goal against the Partenopea.

In the South of the country, Nocerino has played for Avellino, Catanzaro, Messina and Palermo, but never Napoli.

Nevertheless, he’s always had a good relationship with the city’s fans, but come Sunday, such emotions will be put to one side.

Napoli-Milan could be his first start in this year’s league campaign for his new club. After the Nou Camp, the San Paolo.

From the frying pan to the fire. Quite a rollercoaster ride for Antonio Nocerino.

I love how hard he works but you cannot tell me he's better than flamini. Very comprable players. Infact I think Flamini might offer a bit more in terms of attacking and defending, with a bit more risk (higher chance of bad tackle or pass).

Eitherway for his fee/squad position, solid enough, no problems, but he's unlikely to become a quality starter. Just don't tell me he's next Rino. Rino would NOT be nowhere to be found on 2 goals like yesterday. And Rino doesn't lose challenges.

No heat, I agree with you. Overhyped player, but that's mainly because all the other players are injured or out of form for the moment.

Of course Flamini is better hands down but we need new Ambrosini too.
I like him. He is the type of unnoticed player who will play shit lots of games and always be ok.

People that dont like what he does on the field simply know nothing about football.

Allegri does and thats why he let him play 90 minutes in every game.

He won't start regularly if we were fully healthy.

Not blasting him. He's a solid player, but not an increase in quality, just an increase in depth.

Err I think he might mate,

Who else will take his position?

I hope not Gattuso or Ambro
