In a team like that there aren't starters and bench players anymore besides the very core of 4 players tops. Count the games and NT games. Looks as an example of Cassano for example. Hardly anyone expected him to play and due to circumstances he will play a lot now already. Every single rotating player has a chance of at least 20 games in all competitions.

Senatore is right cos Flamini is better but Flamini is very injury prone.
Nocerino isn't a bench player playing due to injuries he is just another rotating squad player. Even last year our mids got lots of games including Strasser for his standards.
Ambro has a shoulder injury hard to heal and comming back often, Gattuso is also playing on his last legs. Nocerino will get lots of games and I am happy wtith it.

Gattuso or seedorf. Imo aquilani, mvb, prince are more or less our first 3 mids. 4th depends on opponent but gattuso fit (key factor full fitness) is still a tackling monster

But don't take it wrong. Nocerino is a solid cm who is a nice squad player but to expect him to become actual first team quality is unlikely IMO. He lacks world class potential at anything really. Aquilani for ex. while being near same age does have world class potential at what he does.

Let's call nocerino a replacement for ambro. Solid cm who does everything at a certain level. Relible off bench to do his job. Probably never gonna make that jump to world class

^ Not yet, but I think he can be a solid player. Dude works really hard and always brings it to the game, I think he just needs time to learn to play Allegri's system before he could be utilized more effectively.

IMO, maybe he can play on the left to compensate for our weakness @ the LB position and a more attacking minded MF can play on the right with Abate whos more solid on that side.

Nocerino I didnt believe in him when we got him. But he's impressing me every game goes by. His 4th game in a row in less than two weeks and he still can fucking run the whole 90mins and I love his fighting spirit. He reminds me alot of Gatusso.
Oh I cant wait to see him + Prince on the field

I agree on the tackling bit, but he's more mobile than Gattuso, so when we're attacking it's better.

I dont see it. Great for what we spent but if Gattuso was fit I cant truly say I would play Nocerino instead. Needs to bring it more and be more forceful, offensively I think he will fit in once the stars return.

Gattuso is all agression and intimidation and I dont think Nocerino's game has enough bite...but it maybe early.
