What about the one today? What about the one where he dribbles from half field (maradona style) What about the one vs Arsenal where he chips it of the GK and volleys it in?

As others said b4...."HATERS GONNA HATE.":o

you should watch some goals from the players I said, and then come back, there is no comparison

And why unfair ? He already had yellow, so straight red, or yellow-red, does it matter? Def. he deserved yellow, at least. It was very fair! That cunt Pepe deserves that, and Real as well because of the dirty way they play.

Pepe didn't have a yellow.

It just annoys me when the ref isn't consistent in his decisions. Pepe was a foul in Barca's half and a dead ball, and it wasn't THAT aggresive to warrant a straight red, especially in an occasion as big as this.

Adebayor's was more of a red than Pepe's. Messi didn't get two clear yellows. Ref generally shouldn't ruin the occassion especially when it's something so unworthy. I doubt Pepe would get a red card for that foul in any normal game.

And cards have nothing to do with what kind of human being the player is.

barcelona have annoying players, but i cant stop  at real, mourinho's aggressive defensive pressing game did not work well this time, not to mention pepe is a fucking ****** :fp:

adebayor should have been sent off as well, the only thing madrid did mentioning this season was stop bartha from getting a treble

joke club is joke :lol

Barcelona's system is very effective for them. My point is that there are other effective systems, and I object to the assumption that possession football is the "right" way to play.

You can control the shape an tempo of the game without having possession. If a team thinks their strength lies in defending and striking on the break, they sit back and play on the counter-attack. Does that team not have control of the game?

Well I don't think anybody with a sense of reason, assumes that possession football is the only kind of football to play. Even Ancelotti's Milan, although being known for playing possession football, were very flexible and were able to play a more direct kind of football.

But still, there's a difference between playing counter-attack football, and playing not to concede. I think Real Madrid played for the latter for large parts of the game. Real Madrid had some periods where they pressed high and it was very effective, and looking at Barcelona's midfield you can see why, Mascherano and Keita are not really the usually Barcelona standard ball players. It's just a bit disapointing they didn't play like that for more parts of the again, but then again perhaps the red card ruined it (Although it was gonna come at some point, given the reckless challegnes).

the voting this year was a joke, how Snjeider didnt win, much less make the top 3 makes it a fucking joke award.

I didnt like Madrid's lineup, I think that Higuain should have started for sure

I'm not the biggest fan of Messi. I do agree that he's overrated by a lot of fans, but not a lot of players can do what he did in the second goal...very few actually.

Barcelona is the lowest low of football, Afellay's brilliance and Messi's usual stuff notwithstanding.

Pretty sure they have trainee refs back in Catalunia, with whom the players play 'Hound the Ref' every day during training.

Disgusting cheaters.

Exactly.For once I feel bad for Madrid:eek:

On the plus side, the Wembely pitch is quite tight and is very slow. Normally the pitch doesn't suit us because we can't get out passing game going, but it would definately be to our advantage against Barcelona.

The Wembley pitch is pretty horrible. I've worked at the stadium in the past so im pretty familiar with it and i've caught quite a few games there and it wasnt pretty so your right, Barca will actually have more of a difficult time trying to play their usual game.

Another factor is SAF, hes learned from his mistakes now and i think hes ready to take on Barca [tactically] and of course you guys have your special weapon in Chicha Hernandez, his pace will cause some problems for Barcas back two.

:fp::fp::fp::fp::fp::fp::fp::fp::fp::fp::fp::fp::fp:

Go fuck yourself will ya,Barca didnt deserve it?They dominated and scored two great goals..HATERS GONNA HATE.Get back in your cave bitch, you should be thankfull we can watch great football.

Dutchie, calm down, everyone here is entitled to their own opinion. Your insulting your fellow Milan fan over a stupid 'El Classico'. Let him have his opinion and respect it as he would respect yours.

Very disappointed by Mou today :fp:
Why did he play such like a pussy on the FIRST LEG HOME? He really did well last year with us by letting the ball to Barça but fuckin them in counter attacks with Sneijder as a trequartista providing balls to forwards...What did he expect with Lass? His 4-3-2-1 worked in Copa my ass, but I think he would change his tactics at first half by subbing Lass out and Kaka in...
It was said that Mourinho was sending his tactics to Leo, in fact I think it's the contrary :fp: :fp: :fp:

Ha, ha .. I did not say "because of a kind of human being he deserved red", it's rather because he's playing like fucking Materazzi used to (albeit, much better then him, in general). And you know what that means ...

Uuuuuuuwweeeeeee!! Yeah!! *pumps fist* So, they said Messi has been quiet for the last two Clasicos, right? EAT THAT, HATERS!!!

I must've hugged like 6 total strangers and 1 fellow true-blue Cule tonite..after the first goal that lasted for close to 2 minutes, so damn sexual

So, so, so much to say right now but I'll have to go grab me dinner before it's really late..my thoughts, as usual, when I return..hopefully I don't forget much.

The lap of honour round most of campus we Barca lovers did in 2009 will be repeated SURELY next Tuesday..then it's Wembley, the execution site of Manure, like we did that same year.

I've worked out what it is that really pisses me off on night's like this. It's not people wanking themselves blind over Barcelona. It's people acting like they're the only ones on earth who understand the genius of Messi and Barcelona, and are therefore entitled to bask in their success in the face of the "haters".

Do you not have much success in your life?

#1 can you guarantee that Barca wouldn't have scored if Pepe was still on the pitch?

#2 Did Madrid deserve to win today then?

#1 We both know this isn't possible, but it goes both ways, right?

#2 Up until the red card it was an even game, just like the last 2 clasicos.

Interesting fact: Barcelona have only scored in the last 3 clasicos when Real go a man down.

Yet they are an attacking entertaining team that is god's gift to earth and the best team in history as well as Messi becoming the best player on earth since Maradona despite doing nothing with Argentina of note, as well as only scoring vs Madrid when they're a man down in the last 3 clasicos.

madness is how good xavi and iniesta's passes are, that's what you should be amazed
and messi isn't the guy who scores the craziest kind of goals, it's totally the opposite actually, because he never scores a goal like ronaldinho, c.ronaldo, ronaldo, ibra, henry, zidane used to scored. His goals are always simple and objetive, always the same kind
Hahaha..simple and objective. There is 1 or maybe 2 players on the planet that can do what he does. I was actually reading and taking your post seriously until I saw ibra and henry in your list there.

Why does a team need to have 80% possession if they can create just as many chances with 20%? Is there an ethical obligation to have possession?

Personally, I find fast counter-attacks more exciting than 20 minutes of sideways passing.

possession football = best defense. U cant lose the game if u cant lose the ball. Barca's attack is actually a great defensive tactic as well.

Wasn't getting up to much until Madrid going down to 10 men allowed him space to run.

Last season I found that Inter played better than Barca despite the fact that Barca had much more possession.
Inter looked sharper & having a plan actually & thats something Real didnt have .
So its not about possession but rather having a solid plan/tactic/approach.
Barca deserve to win tonight no doubt about it.

That said , am noticing a decline in Barca's game & that due to their thin squad & loosing Eto'o.
I also liked ManU more than Barca so far but the germs were a push over so am gonna judge how the sir will do vs a better team.

Messi considering his age is an over achiever so I dont know whats all the talk about his status & Pato no way will do half what Messi do even with this mighty Barca.
All the talk about his Argentine failure is bull shit & players like Maldini & Nesta are a living proof that you dont need to kick ass with your national team to be considered a great player.
Pato need a much more direct team to shine & he cant beat to much players like Messi do.
So again the talk that Pato with Barca will do better than Messi is insane.
Messi drop deeper & more effective than Pato & he also pull miracle goals on his own like his second goal tonight.

I expect a good final between Barca & ManU since ManU seems to play good on the counters as I noticed this season.
