Messi is by far the best player that ever played if we are talking in absolute terms. You just have to watch 2 videos with Maradona, and Pelé to see that the football today is miles ahead of the football played in their time. If we are talking best player in history in relative terms (a players ability compared to other players in his era) then I think Messi is top 5 but not the best.imo opinion Maradona is the best ever.

If you even try comparing players of different eras; Pelé, Nordahl, Maradona, Ronaldo and Messi you're on Mission Impossible. Can't be done. And it's unfair. Same thing as comparing Messi as a player to the best defenders, or goalkeepers. How do you do that? How is a goal from Messi better than a save by Casillas?

Some were saying they are on the same level as Barca before yesterday and many still seem to think they're better than Real Madrid. Of course they're overrated. They haven't been convincing even once this season. Sure they have been way more stable than their opponents in the EPL, but they've never outclassed an opponent this season except for against a shitty Shalke 04 who got raped by Bayern München around the same time. Arsenal, Chelsea and even Pool and City were better than Man Utd when they were at their best.

No idea who you've been listening too. Many people have said this is the worst Premiership title winning team of all time.

We outclassed Chelsea home and away btw.

Some people say that the Holocaust never happened. An opinion being radical doesn't necessarily make it worth addressing.

Then I guess it's just here in Sweden. The Swedish Anglophiles aren't doing Man Utd or EPL any favour.:b:

Wembley was OVERRUN by Spaniards, or actually Catalunyans..was that actually played not far from the rainy city of Manchester??! :doubtful:
Shitty opening ceremony, who gives a flaming fuck about tailored suits and bowler hats huh? Fuck London '12. :D
[/b]

I think ManUtd probably had more fans, but all I could hear all match were Barca chants or ManUtd's fans mocking if Barcellona fucked up.

As for the closing ceremony yeah I was really disappointed (not only for the presence of Nick Clegg's fucking abhorrent, unjustified face), this is a European final and they can't do anything near the level of the celebrations of Milan - Cagliari '11. As for tailored suits and bowler hats well they're actually part of London heritage and, personally I'm a fan of fine tailoring, British or Italian, but it was very lacklustre for such a grandiose stage.

Sure, it's just misinformed individuals who represent themselves. Depending on how you look at it, the league's been worse/more balanced this season than any I can recall. At the risk of downplaying a good season, I also think the standard in the Champions League isn't quite what it was. How can it be when Italian teams have faired so dismally. There simply isn't that balance between England, Spain and Italy that has come to define the competition for so many years.

What is this nonsense I'm reading? From people who claim to be Milan fans no less? Absolutely pathetic comments ... disgraceful that they come here to parade a team who everyone knows robbed Chelsea in broad daylight three years ago. Don't you remember this?

Also, that Milan side was labelled "boring" and "lucky" while this Bartha side is being hailed as the greatest ever? Give me a break ... That Milan side reached three finals, winning two, with largely the same squad. Bartha have spent much, much more over five years, changing their squad quite a bit, and won three. Don't be fooled by their youth squad fairy tails ... Ibra, Alves, Villa, Abidal, Henry, etc. were all high profile purchases as opposed to Milan signing just Kaka' and a few stop-gap players during their four year reign.

But above all, that Milan side didn't win games disgracefully like this criminal force ... honestly, can you name a more poorly officiated game than the one against Chelsea last decade? Perhaps a certain game in South Korea comes to mind, but other than that, Bartha's theft is clear to all except the blindly deluded.

To conclude, Baresi may have said something ... but be sure he wouldn't be afraid of this Bartha like those reporters put it. Pedro vs Gullit? LOL ... Villa vs Van Basten? Give me a break ... and this coming from people claiming to have seen them live, etc.

All due respect, but I think beating an 11-man Madrid 5-0 in the Semi Final beats Alves' Oscar-worthy act. And guess who opened the scoring?

And what reasons are you exactly giving? Or are you saying that the opinions of the coach of the world champions, or the votes of the people who nominated Messi matter less than yours?

:lol::lol::lol:

Media hype:o and honestly, who would say anything bad about Messi when asked about him?

Give me a break please. He was amazing in the world cup, but Maradona and everybody else conspired against him. Right:rolleyes:

If the WC teaches us anything its that Xavi/Iniesta are more important for Barca's success than ratface.

Messi is just a testimony to the great heights modern medicine has reached. I mean, the guy's even confessed to having a small penis due to all the syringes he accidentally sat on three times a day, seven days a week, since he was eleven. I feel sorry for him, but hey ... thats the price you got to pay for being the world's best.

Now I don't even want to imagine whats happening in UNICEF's laboratories today ... remember, Messi is old news. They've got 9-11 year olds, some even from Korea, up in their treadmills

Exactly, that goal goes in, Milan get to the final and should beat that Arsenal side too, sure this is conjecture but had that happened, then 2007 as well, Milan would have been talked about a 2nd coming of their 1989-1994 team and easily the best club in history.

+1

Carlo's Milan spent way less than this Bartha did yet won almost as much in Europe. It can also be argued that Gerrard dived in Istanbul, and Milan were undone by bad officiating there as well.

In stark contrast, this Bartha robbed us and then Chelsea ... + could only beat Madrid by Alves' play-acting which led to Madrid going a man down. Sacchi's Milan beat Madrid 5-0. So please ... I hope some people don't embarrass themselves further ...

Better than the usual excuses from the Messi fanboys. He was awsome in the WC, but the ball was bad and so was the weather. Plus Tevez, Macherano and co are really crap players and never give him the ball.

milan under ancelotti was kind of unlucky,2004 inzaghi goal called back in deportivo first leg which would have made it 5-1, we'd still have gone out on away goals but maybe the scenario would have turned out different, plus the semis and final were weak opposition which we could probably have beaten easily

in 2006 that puyol robbery which would have sent us into the final and the year before gerrard's dive cost us the big ears... barca without the refs wouldn't have won 06 and 09, but probably would have won last year though, inter got two goal calls in favour.

His mistress left the forum & now he has no guidance what so ever.
A dog without a master & he just bark @ the car passing by.
All he does is sniff @ my feet & doesnt even have the balls to address me directly.
Troll to say the least since all his post either "grazie pirlo :o" , a dig @ Barca or @ me.

Meanwhile,“Barcelona are the strongest side of the last 50 years,” Pirlo told La Gazzetta dello Sport on Monday. “Nobody plays football like Barca.”
So either this Barca is really something or Pirlo is a fucking traitor + piece of shit , you cant have it both ways.
Or maybe both ;)

Yeah ... thats a fair analysis. This is what I was saying. I'm getting sick of champions being decided by controversial official decisions. Its spoiling the game we know and love. And while Milan have got a few decisions their way, its nothing close to what these criminals have over the years.

Last year, Inter proved how important such decisions can be. Bartha were the better team, but because of two decisions, lost. Against Chelsea, there was a foul on Kalou which should have changed the game. There too Inter got a decision their way.

This cannot be said of Milan's victories in 07 and 03. But Bartha are guilty and all their titles are dirty :D

Oh ... and by the way, if we were to compare them to Sacchi's Milan, Baresi would probably not want to play with them. Cause he'd knock the teeth out of players who dive like ballerina girls at the faintest hint of being touched ... wait, scratch that out. Cause they don't need to be touched to fall like they've been shot.

Meanwhile, some have the nerve to call Pippo names ... honestly, I can't understand some people here. Dissing Milan, their players, their achievements to praise a corrupt side like Bartha? Are you Milan fans like you preach? I really wonder ... real disappointed in you lot

dog? master? your feet? Wow ... child playing his adolescent games as usual :proud: You wanted me to quote you? Well then, here you go ... now kindly get out of your closet and run off to your Bartha forums; Your true love awaits ... leave us in peace before you drive us all mad with your stupidity :)

I don't know ... from growth deficient child to world beating athlete? Those were some serious supplements, you must admit.

Shows how you talk about a topic you know nothing about. Messi didnt take any supplements, but went on a growth hormone treatment.

You should read up about before spewing more rubbish http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Growth_hormone_treatment

Also it doesnt effect penis size like your earlier post said...

Been there and done this. Actually, the original Messi fan on these boards was a certain guy called Tsar. At least thats the how I remember things. When I said supplements, I was referring to all other supplementary substances (hormones inclusive) that are used to treat growth-deficient children. Read up on that ... especially about the micropenis condition. Tsar even admitted that Messi had this condition ... can't be bothered to dig it up now.
