Too many to name :D
I missed the first 30 minutes and only started watching around the same time Barca scored. Btw, I can't even find Pato's goal on the utubes so if someone posted that it would be nice.

I can honestly say that I didn't see anything from any Milan player except the defenders for the entire duration of the match up untill Silva scored. Literally, there was nothing but poor passes and lost possession. Apart from the result it went down exactly as I expected.

Good result for you though. Congrats.

Well not much positive, apart from Barca unable to create much chances from OPEN play. Defence was strong 95% of time.

Perfect start to the season. FORZA MILAN

Plus the other 2 teams drew :)

perfect night, and it showed us what nocerino was made of, the number of times he was sprinting back was amazing, realy fantastic to watch.

And for all the pato doubters, he carried us tonight with his forward play, without him we would have made practically nothing.

Pato delivered tonight :D

Fuck Off! Get out of this forum, Merda Fan!

Why? Cause I'm saying the truth? This and the Sociedad game will make Barcelona look at themselves and say that nothing comes easy, and they will work harder. Messing up like this two matches in a row is good I think. Keeps them grounded. While Milan really has to be lucky like this to even have a chance in the Champions League.

I am not even a Barca fan, i am an Arsenal fan but i must say what a small club mentality some of you lot have:lol:

A club like Milan should not be celebrating drawing 2-2 against Barca, in bloody group stage game. I would understand the knockouts, but this:lol::lol:

At the end of the day, you lot were not particularly good. Apart from those two goals, Barca had all of the ball and you lot did nothing in an attacking sense.
Good point to pick up but to be saying ''fuck you barca'' ''milan > barca'' says it all.

Yes but

Even Xavi still trying to dive, when Thiago Silva won the duel in the air, and score the equaliser.

oh and uhh let me add boateng and nocerino pretty much sucked dick that game.

You dont know much about football. Nocerino was one of the best Milan players in this game. Always in good position and tactically perfect performance from him.

That he didnt do much in offence (apart from that last corner which he manage to get) doesnt change that.

I'm sure you wouldn't say so if it wasn't for that equalizer.

It's hard to be happy about this draw. Our boys played terribly.
But I'm glad for Pato and Silva. Abbiati with some good stops. But, hands down, Nesta was the best.

If. But. Maybe.

Doesn't matter, 2-2 is the result.

And I'd think Allegri was the master no matter what the result.

Champions League, Gp H, Matchday 1 - 13/9/11 (19.45 UK) Barcelona 2-2 Milan

Champions League, Gp H, Matchday 1 - 13/9/11 (19.45 UK); Barcelona 2-2 Milan: Pato 1 (M), Pedro 36 (B), Villa 50 (B), Thiago Silva 92 (M) Camp Nou

Alexandre Pato gave Milan the perfect start and Thiago Silva the ideal ending, as Milan drew 2-2 with Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

Adriano Galliani dubbed this 'The Derby of the World' between currently the best side on the planet and the club with the most international trophies in history. They hadn't crossed paths since the 2005-06 semi-final and their record was perfectly balanced at four wins each and three stalemates.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Philippe Mexes, Taye Taiwo, Mathieu Flamini and the suspended Gennaro Gattuso were unavailable, so Antonio Cassano started with Alexandre Pato and Kevin-Prince Boateng. Barcelona's Carles Puyol was only fit for the bench and ex-Udinese star Alexis Sanchez sidelined, but Pep Guardiola opted for an all-attack formation with Pedro Rodriguez completing the trident. Javier Mascherano and Sergio Busquets formed an unusual central defensive partnership.

It took just 24 seconds for Milan to take advantage of this rather mismatched pairing, as Pato flicked it between them and burst forward with his notorious pace to coolly slot past the on-rushing Victor Valdes. It was the fifth fastest goal in Champions League history.

Barcelona kept possession in their usual style, as the visitors clearly focused on the counter-attack. A corner fell to David Villa at the back post, but he only hit the side-netting, while Pato was halted by a very tight offside decision when clear on goal again.

Christian Abbiati got down to beat Leo Messi's daisy-cutter round the post, but Pato drew away three defenders and rolled across to the unmarked Boateng, who blasted over. Seydou Keita then had to sprint back to intercept Pato again.

Messi curled a free kick over the wall and on to the top half of the near post at the 19th minute. Barcelona switched to three at the back to avoid the immense pressure they were under from Pato.

Villa volleyed over the bar and Abbiati parried from point-blank range as Dani Alves threaded through for Messi. Boateng had a back problem against Lazio on Friday that flared up again, so made way for Massimo Ambrosini. It pushed Clarence Seedorf into the trequartista role.

Alessandro Nesta was having a fantastic game and stood his ground to block Andres Iniesta's slalom in the box.

However, Barcelona did equalise when Messi drew three defenders to the by-line and somehow managed to squeeze a pass between them for the unmarked Pedro Rodriguez to tap in from three yards.

Iniesta also picked up an injury and was replaced by Cesc Fabregas. Dani Alves nutmegged Gianluca Zambrotta to release Messi, but the offside flag was raised. In first half stoppages a Thiago Silva error risked another counter, but Ignazio Abate stretched his neck for a decisive intercepting header.

After the restart Xavi's screamer stung Abbiati's palms for a corner. Sergio Busquets earned a very soft free kick for a nudge from Cassano, but with that set play David Villa curled a powerful right-foot strike into the near top corner to put Barcelona in front.

Nesta had to time his tackle perfectly to stop Messi's trademark run just as he was pulling the trigger from six yards. Urby Emanuelson replaced Cassano for a 4-4-1-1 system. Puyol made his comeback after knee surgery the day after the Champions League Final and Barcelona had 70 per cent of the possession.

Pato's weak header from a Seedorf corner kick was all the Rossoneri managed to create. Alberto Aquilani replaced Mark Van Bommel.

However, in stoppages Seedorf curled in a corner kick and Thiago Silva was far more reactive than those around him, soaring above a crowd of Barcelona players for a wonderful header.

Barcelona: Valdes; D Alves, Mascherano, Busquets, Abidal; Keita (Puyol 67), Xavi, Iniesta (Fabregas 39); Villa (Afellay 83), Messi, Pedro

Milan: Abbiati; Abate, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta; Nocerino, Van Bommel (Aquilani 77), Seedorf; Boateng (Ambrosini 33); Cassano (Emanuelson 61), Pato

lol,

you know, i wasn't happy with the way we played, fact we couldn't hold any posession but this showed exactly why barca aren't as invincible as 'thought'.

our two goals=their two most blatant weaknesses.

-CB pace, if you can even call em CBs
-set peice defense with no one over 6ft (bar busquets)

so whatever, they do other things well, but they got holes, and we took advantage.

Also, gotta give shout out to Nesta. Awesome performance.

Thiago, Abate, MVB as well. Team defended very well, held position well, considering we couldn't hold ball, they were at work for all game and didn't give way. Proud

This is what good teams do. When they play poorly and shits going against them, they don't quit and they continue fighting for anything out of the match. :star:

I hate being all Pedro but +1 :star:. We didn't succumb to their game, we just kept defending without losing composure, of course there were times when the pressure was big so we made some mistakes, but in general we were pretty flawless in defense.

It was a great tactic, defending like hell in the middle and forcing them out on the wings where they can't do shit...

2-2 at Nou Camp in group match, i can live with that

Edit: ....my first post.. and i have been here since 09.... wow...

Lol, what a fucking team of losers Milan are. And to think they once were great. Positively, this will only make Barca work harder, and thats exactly what you don't want...

Your defenders should jump higher bro...

They should try to run faster against Pato

It's not good to draw at home bro

Just my 2 cents

We are the greatest team ever. Not by skill, not by statistics, by heart and I mean my heart, which is currently in overdrive. I might suffer a cardiac arrest for fucks sake.
Thats it , your heart & I would have prefered if we witnessed a master plan by Al or least some heart from our players but I didnt see neither.
Just a Pato miracle - unlimited mistakes - Silva miracle.

And fantAntinooooooooooooooooooooo or whatever they call Cass.
Nothing more than a slightly better version of Dinho if you ask me.
As I expected he wont do shit if he play a team with high pressure & the same goes for Ibra for whoever say he would have made a difference.
You can beat Barca either by pulling an Inter/Chelsea master plan & we cant obviously or by outsmart them by fielding passers , movers & Pato.
NOT DESTROYERS fuck fuck sake Allegri :o
Destroyers will get you the ball but they will send it back ASAP.
Thats why when all ppl were masturbating over Ibra & Cass I said lets field Robi & Pato & if Robi is out then again non of Cass & Ibra but one more midfielders.

I know we should be happy for the result but I cant feel happy about the performance.

How can people not be happy with a 2-2 draw against Barca away? I must have missed the part where any other team goes there and controls the game, Milan limited Barca to half chances and there 2 goals were a mixture of bad luck and brilliance. Celebrate the result for fuck sake.

Good result despite bad performance.

hahahahha, Barca can be happy that Ibra and Robinho were absent, if they played I'm sure we would've scored more :D

Don't get carried away, none of the above would add possession to Milan's game and their presence wouldn't make the game any different.

Allegri is the MASTER.

Seedorf was the master in this particular case. Subbing Boateng for Ambrosini in the first half wasn't the brightest idea.

Inter is lucky that Milan let them form their "club" in the first place.

Awesome match. Organized structure.
