inzaghi is not just one of our strikers...
inzaghi is like a secret weapon hidden in the pocket.
inzaghi is the sneakiest phanter in the jungle.
inzaghi is still our only big game striker.
inzaghi is not just a enrichment to the squad... he is essential.

if we aim for the champions league, we can't let inzaghi retire, unless there is someone who can make his job.

also, there is no reason that inzaghi don't deserves our confidence, he always stepped up if we needed him.

inzaghi is like yoda... don't underestimate him because of his age. get this through your head you...

renew his contract till 2015.

inzaghi is our deadliest warhead, now get a rocket.

I like to keep him for the CL mostly and I think that for a free signing that Klose would be a good backup to Ibra since we dont have another tall CF, and Klose would probably be the biggest aerial threat on our team

Ibrahimovic: I can't. It's too big.
Inzaghi: Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ball.

Inzaghi: I am wondering, why are you here?
Ibrahimovic: I'm looking for some glory.
Inzaghi: Looking? Found some, you have, I would say, hmmm?
Ibrahimovic: Right...
Inzaghi: Help you I can. Yes, mmmm.
Ibrahimovic: I don't think so. I'm looking for a great warrior.
Inzaghi: Ohhh. Great warrior.
[laughs and shakes his head]

Ibrahimovic: All right, I'll give it a try.
Inzaghi: No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.

[Using the Force, Inzaghi effortlessly sneaks with the ball through the back line]
Ibrahimovic: I don't, I don't believe it.
Inzaghi: That is why you fail.

I dont like the fact that all he talks and thinks about is his european record, how is he supposed to break it with us? will we bench ibra and pato to play a 38 year old Inzaghi? it doesnt make sense to have him here when we can make a signing like Klose, not to mention its pretty selfish from him to only care about that European record, he should move a to team that can afford to play him in the CL.

thank you for the european goals, you were average/unlucky at the league, but its time to leave, unfortunately G. is going to extend his contract.

after All the things he's done for us in the past and today (we got trought the group stages in CL thanks to him), why not allowing him to spend the last year of his working life chilling with a decent salary, giving him some playing time, him having his very last moments of pleasure, then the supproters happy to see him wearing our shirt.

No to Inzaghi elsewhere than Milan. Not him.

his main aim is to play in the CL, with pato and ibra, how will he play? he would only play if we have injuries/suspensions or if both of them are sucking.

its better for him to find a CL team that would play him there.

I dont really mind if he stays, its just useless tbh.

its funny how you guys talk like hes finished.

i mean, is a goal scored by a 38 year young stiker less worthy than a goal by a 28 year old striker?

i dont get it...

if he doesn't score anymore ok, but he still score crucial goals.

so... whats the point?

He is the best supersub we could hope for. Come on late in european games when defences have been tired by patos pace and ibras physicality and expose defensive lapses in concentration

Cassano is a supersub also, and to be honest, I agree with Sage. With Robinho, Pato, Ibrahimovic and Cassano Inzaghi will rarely find himself on the pitch. Inzaghi's main goal is to score in CL, and if he really wants to live his dream, he should leave Milan for a CL playing club that plays him every CL game. Raúl made a smart move moving to Schalke. Now Inzaghi should make a similar move. Actually, people who really love Inzaghi should hope he leaves Milan for such club so that you guys can see your Pippo score goals in CL. Klose would make a good replacement for Inzaghi.

I will take you as our sub since Pippo offer shit when he is injured 90% of the season while getting paid in millions.
Klose is healthier & he will provide great cover if Ibra got injured.

Agreed. We really lack a strong forward whenever Ibrahimovic is out. That only makes me prefer Klose over Inzaghi. It's best for Milan to replace Inzaghi with Klose, and best for Inzaghi to play for a weaker CL team to increase his chances getting the goalscorer record.

inzaghi stays. no doubt.

38, 48, 58,68

he can play.

he doesnt use speed, he desstroys offside traps, and is the only pro cl player we have got. if we ever let go of him, and say he goes to anothe cl team. should inzaghi avoid injuries, they will make it to the semis easy.

we all know inzaghi's quality. he is the super sub. he doesnt deserve to be demoted from that role. inzaghi must stay, he can teach robinho how to finish, he can teach pato bout movement, and possibly tell ibra to stfu during a cl game, stop getting offside and use that skill he has got to send milan through.

ibra lacks confidence in cl... can you blame him?

I'm sorry, but I find these kind of posts kinda disrespectful towards Cassano. No way Inzaghi is a better supersub than Cassano in Serie A. Cassano we haven't used in CL so far, so we can't compare.

Raul founs himself a place to play CL till 36 at least.
Pippo should know when to stop.
He is a legend but Pippo comming back to play regular football for Us makes as much sense as trying to re-call Paolo Maldini for 4CB/Mentor role.
Pippo should work with youth or ran scoring training but who can mentor/help while activly playing- Pato? Everyone else is well established.

Problem is, you can't teach this

He's really a one of a kind. When not injured, he still can perform better than anyone in some positions. And he scores goals, important goals.

I'd extend his contract for a year or so with reduced wages and play him as a sub whenever the front line simply isn't working. He can break any deadlocked game with the unique tactical intelligence he has.

Inzaghi ready to Udinese

Pippo Inzaghi ready to Udinese. And 'what transpired yesterday at a press conference after television Massimiliano Allegri in the press room of the sports center of Milanello. On the specific question on the number 9, the group returned to the day before yesterday, the technician said that for today's match, should not be on the bench while against the Friuli will respond well if the next coach should be available to resume familiar with the rhythm game.

Cassano is obviously better than Pippo but Pippo is a better super-sub. Pippo can come off the bench when we're 6-0 up and he'll still try net a hat-trick. Cassano comes on and does nothing.

In the actual impact i've seen them both make, they're both similar. But they do it in different ways.

Inzaghi is a supersub in CL I guess, but in Serie A Inzaghi hasn't impressed me as much as Cassano's supersub appereances. We haven't seen Cassano play in CL in Milan's shirt, so we cannot compare, so how do you know Pippo is a better supersub than him? And who cares who's a better sub when we're 6-0 ahead, it matters when we're not ahead. Cassano brought us many points in his sub appearances. Respect and lots of praise for that.

I think of it like this.

Pippo comes on - Can score at any time

Cassano comes on - Unless we're pressuring alot, nothing happens.

That's what i've seen. At Bari, Cagliari and Udinese we were pressuring a lot and we scored because Cassano made the final pass. But with Pippo, he can come on in any game, any situation, and score... Case in point Madrid.

And what about not playing in CL? I'm not saying one is a better big game player, just that Pippo is a different kind of supersub but is atleast as good.

What I tried to say is that after Cassano's many amazing supersub appereances I am closer to believe the opposite. Cassano subs appearances made a bigger impact on me than Pippo's. I think Cassano's subs brings more points than Pippo's. CL may be an exception since Pippo is obviously better in CL than in Serie A (in which he rather disappoints often), but first I want to see Cassano in CL for us to say more about that.
