SKY commentator vs Sassuolo: "Menez not staying as a pure CF, and Inzaghi is yelling. You should listen to Inzaghi when he speaks to forwards about calcio." :)

Pippo - serious calcio! :D All running and fighting, no bullshit on the pitch.

MExes next to leave. No swag shit. Pippo is more then swag, uber-swag.

Pippo said today Meneyyyy is capable of all 3 roles in 433 as well as "other formations".. That 442 à la Atletico he mentioned comes to my mind.

Would be nice.

When we have Gianni Vio with us, why are you worrying about setpieces?

Saw our setpiece blocking in the TIM trophy? Impeccable.

If we don't get a good midfielder and/or a good striker(less likely), I'd say that a top 5 would be a great result. Let's face it with this team, there are a lot more problems and if the team hits a rough patch, the chance of players becoming unhappy and things escalating are more likely.

I wonder what would have happened if Inzaghi had the same start as Van Gaal (2 losses and 1 draw), how many people would ask for his head.

Pippo Inzaghi said Milan will “gain in team spirit and hunger” with Mario Balotelli’s move to Liverpool.

The Coach spoke to reporters at the Forte dei Marmi beach resort, including MilanNews.it, about the imminent £16m (€20m) transfer.

When a player leaves, it means all the parties involved took this decision. We are certainly losing a great player, but we gain something more in team spirit and hunger.

I wish Balo all the best at Liverpool.”

The search is on for a replacement with the likes of Jackson Martinez, Mattia Destro, Leandro Damiao, Fernando Torres and Alvaro Negredo mentioned.

The directors know what I want on the market. I have to train the players at my disposal and we have a squad up to the task. If someone else arrives then even better, but otherwise we’re fine as we are.

Inzaghi hinted the key to a post-Balotelli system would be using a ‘False 9.’

Jeremy Menez can play any of the three attacking roles and help us to use a different system. He is a versatile player who will be of great use.

So glad he has conformed to the club slogan :proud:

Dont worry...your head will be on the chopping block soon enough when you (predictably) fail to get results with the garbage squad full of washed up rejects Galliani has assembled

smh

how can people smack about Pippo!? :fp:

if Balo is gone its no doubt because Pippo saw him as a disruptive element within the squad (and a decision was already made to sell him during brazil 2014). if things turns sour in the new season you would have to be stupid to pin it on Pippo

not sure why we always use the quote "we are fine as we are '. such a defeated attitude I mean it screams mediocrity.

we heard it last year ...were we fine . with another tough year ahead we need better than fine ..in fact there it is "better".

you gotta look at it both ways pippo ... a player with an abundance of talent but poor attitude is detrimental to the squad and a player with a enormous amount of inability but good attitude is detrimental to performance.

we can't simply say hey ..balo costs us games because of his attitude and bonera costs us games but man he is a nice guy .

get rid of the attitude ...get rid of the inability .

the world is full of players that have ability and the right attitude and it's what made us once a great club.

A lot of people are putting all their eggs in the "omfg guys Pipo was such a great striker so that'll rub off into our strikers" basket.

Let's hope Sunday Pazzo proves it (doubt Torres will start)

First 5 games will show how good Inzaghi is. If he gets 5-7 points, he's average ... if he gets more he has a good start... if he gets less, he has a lot of work to do.

I hope that Sacchi will also be around to help and mentor ( I saw him on the last friendly sitting next to Galliani) but he also has to learn and fast.

A big problem with young coaches is also continuity ... I remember Ciro Ferrara always did very good at the start of the season only to see his teams tank after the first 6 games.

Ancelotti: The first thought when I see Inzaghi as a coach? "He makes me feel old."

We do have a difficult start, don't we?

Juventus are stronger on paper, even with big-game/early-season Allegri in charge.

AC Milan News @Milanello

Pippo Inzaghi's brother Simone will be present at San Siro tomorrow for Milan vs Lazio (he coaches the Lazio Primavera).

Inzaghi: "I don't have a fixed formation yet. We will use the 4-3-3 if Torres adapts to it, otherwise we will find an alternative."

Inzaghi: "I expect all the fans to be at San Siro tomorrow. The squad needs you."

Inzaghi: "I think that Torres will do well here. He is professional and he seems to have the mentality and values that I had as a player."

Inzaghi: "I still haven't decided who the three players in attack will be against Lazio. I will decide after today's training."

Inzaghi: "I spoke with Mourinho to find out how Torres is as a person before we signed him."

Inzaghi: "My impression of Torres is that he's very professional and has the right mentality. Mourinho confirmed it when I spoke with him."

Inzaghi: "Pazzini is at the center of my project, regardless of whether he plays from the start or sits on the bench."
