I wish Mourinho was removed from football.

I'd go for anyone against a team he manages.

Marcelo and Pepe are also gobshites.

:fp: Mourinho is great, he is an amazing manager and hilarious

Imagine Milan hired Mourinho instead of Inter in 2008.

I mean it made more sense. Milan finished 5th in the league, they're the ones that needed a new coach not the league winners.

yup, hindsight is a great thing to have.

you dont fire a former Milan player that is "part of the family" right after a CL win, it is bad business for bringing coaches in in the future

Champions League win was in May 2007. I'm talking about summer 2008, a season after the Champions League win, when Milan finished 5th and Mourinho was looking for a job.

Chelsea wanted Ancelotti. Was perfect time to start a new cycle.

Bingo.

BTW, Mourinho is a better coach than Carlo or allegri (atleast until max becomes first coach to win back to back ucl's with milan :o) but he is successful, cause management backs him.

Ancelotti would have been more successful with the same.

It's my one pet peeve with Milan, i'd like to see managers backed more. Given players they want.

If you recall, in 2009, when Inter got elitmated in ucl, Mourinho IMMEDIATELY went to Branca and Moratti with a list of what they need to win.

He asked for a CM who can pass, a ball playing CB, a clinical pure CF, an AM.

He got Motta, Lucio, Milito, Sneijder which fit all those demands. I doubt those were all the specific players he wanted, but they they worked. And when Zlatan was sold, he got etoo, which was a major coup.

I often wonder what would have happened in Carlo got what he wanted, etoo or adebayor over ronaldinho. A proper like Silva (2 years earlier), a better sub for pirlo/seedorf etc.

But that's the past. I just worry about now. I think Allegri is a top manager in making. He's got all the tools to be an elite coach. But he needs a little more backing in terms of singings i tihnk.

I was talking in comparison to Allegri. He got 100 times more support and backing than Leonardo did.

Not doubting his ability as a manager.

I'll never forget that 3 finger salute towards the Milan fans last season.

So damn arrogant for a manager.

Also the attempted kick to Fabergas, and the rake of the assistant manager at Barca, was outrageous behaviour for a football manager.

So yes i repeat - remove the arrogant twat from football.

Interesting thing about Mourinho is that I think he secretly loves Barca and would jump at the chance to manage them (or atleast would have).

He had some kind of vendetta against them as far back as 2005 even though he worked there under Bobby Robson.

Mourinho was offered the job before Guardiola when Rijkaard was released, but in the end Laporta hesitated because the fans didn't want him and there was the fear of defensive football. I think Mourinho always wanted to coach Barcelona, since his days as an assistant manager to Robson and van Gaal, but the fact that they snubbed him makes him even more determined to defeat them with Madrid and I like that.

btw he never attempted to kick Fabregas. What a ridiculous idea that is.

To Fabergas laying on the turf {to make it worse} , following a terrible tackle from the gobshite Marcelo.

I'd love if Man Utd dumped Mourinho's Madrid out in the Champions League.:D

Mourinho is the best coach out there. He is hilarious, and is truly a genius. He knows when to play "defensive anti-football" and when to attack. He is one of a kind and he has a winning mentality that all coaches should have. He really is THE SPECIAL ONE.

One day I would like to see him coaching a national team and see what he can do there, but for now I enjoy his presence in club football.

Yeah cry me a river. Anyway can I borrow your mind reading device to see what formation Mourinho intends to use against Barca? It seemed to have worked well for you in the particular incident.
