His passing yesterday was awful

It is always awful. Lol, it's his one major flaw as other than that he is a very decent box to box player.

He is a fodder, I liked him in the first 3-4 matches and I though he can do well, but like every fodder he started well and then turn to be shit (like Poli, Nocerino). Everyone will start to say bad words for him soon, I'm sure for this.

He lost our best chance vs Genoa when we could have got 1 point, made me angry with a shitty performance vs Sassuolo, losing every ball from his leg, had 7 shots with 0 goals vs Chievo, and now only 50% pass accuracy vs Lazio :fp: 50%... :fp: it can't be accepted for a midfield to complete only 50% of passes, and to have only 70% pass accuracy in his all games so far. not even muntari was like this shit for pasisng.

Kucka has been bad the last few games, but like Poli a lot of his work is done in the pressing game and he can still make nice plays from time to time. Obviously this opens him up to criticism, but with Monty in midfield you need someone prepared to make sacrifices for the team.

And can Nocerino be excluded from any discussion or comparisons... He was dominated by Empoli for fucks sake. Also before De Jong is brought into it, his pressing game is weak as fuck.

It would be a nightmare seeing him play with Poli & Monto next game.

 Congrats on your awakening...but shocked it took you 4 games to realise. Anybody who watched him for Genoa knew he was absolute trash before he signed. There's a reason the commode used to fill with dread every mercato Mr. 14% shooting was linked to us

I think it's a bit cruel to say his shooting is awful.

Sure, he hasn't scored yet, but he can clearly hit them. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets into some deal of form and scores a few long range goals in consecutive games.

Shit player....like with all the other shit players like Kevin Constant, Birsa etc...there are bound to be some good/great performances here and there followed by avalanches of shit in between. At least he advanced the ball well

Kucka is defensively galactic civilizations ahead of Poli. That's why he's in the first team, and that's why he should continue to be in the first team.

Although he's a great ball-winner Fucka's his own worst enemy as the man can't pass/shoot to save his life.

It hurts to think a guy with 14% shooting and 50% passing accuracy is getting paid millions as a 'professional footballer':cry:

Kucka is by far our tallest midfielder and now that De Jong is not playing and Muntari left, he's the only midfielder that can provide some muscle to our midfield. Add to this the fact that he works hard makes him quite valuable to our team.

Have a feeling though that he feels more at ease in a 4-3-1-2 than in a 4-3-3. At times he liked to drift wide but with Cerci there he has a limited range and has to penetrate more centrally.
His height though is priceless considering that we're not great at marking on dead balls crosses (our Achiles heel in the past couple seasons since Ibra-Th.Silva left), if I remember correctly in the last game even Bacca (who's not as tall) was coming to defense during corners.

Let's not forget that he's played every single game ...

He must start every game if fit. You'll know his value only when he's out.

A stable world class defensive midfielder remains our biggest market need but till that guy gets signed, Kuco is a must start.

Lets hope we can at least try to be like Atletico in 2013-14, when they used to have midfielders with shitty pass accuracy, but midfielders who are great in pressing and give their all.

People here our underrating Kucka.

He's given our team a much needed shot in the arm and has been of good value. Sure he has his average matches, but he was a good purchase.

Modern fans need someone at all times to call fodder. Since Monto and Berto turned on the consistency, they are left with only Kuco.

His passing is some ass. Man the guy can win the ball, and really push forward but hes got to put more effort in his passing game.

I think he has a shitty touch, not nearly Zapata level shit but enough for it to affect areas in his game like passing. He needs to work on it if he wants to maintain first team come January or next summer.

This is what Kucka does = Win the ball and lose it again.

Winning the ball is still cutting out a promising attack. If we take Kucka out, Montolivo will have to aimlessly go all over trying to win balls and then lose his midfield command as well. We'll be a mess.

 I've noticed this too. We seem to be winning a lot more 50-50 situations in midfield with Kucka on the field.

Part of the reason why Monto has so many interceptions is because Kucka presses opponent's midfields so aggressively and chases them down which forces them into mistakes that Monto can capitalize on without roaming.

I think you guys are being harsh calling him "fodder". But in terms of passing, there definitely has been times that his qualities let us down. Ideally we could find a MFer that can do Kucka's job effectively but with more technical qualities.

He just seems to be getting worse and worse. It's shameful that 16yo Donna has more accurate long range passing then this turd from 2-3m away :fp:

A midfielder cannot be considered only in terms of passing, scoring, attacking or defending. Put Pirlo in a 4-3-3 with Poli and Nocerino and he'd be run over... and people would be clamoring how shit he is at defending and forget about the other things that he's good at.

People talking shit about Kucka need to understand that none of our other midfielders can provide for our team the same combination of things that he does. Sure, if we spend another 40 million and can find a Kondogbia type of player, but I'd rather we spent that money more wisely. I'm not sure why we're even talking shit about Kucka when there are other positions that are far weaker than him.

He has 50% passing rate, so what... iirc he started the Chievo goal with that pass to Cerci, would you rather have De Jong that has 90% pass rate and passes only backwards. At least this guy has the balls to try and make things happen.

I don't remember anybody complaining about Gattuso and his passing. Well, I guess when you have next to you Kaka, Pirlo and Seedorf you don't have to make any long range passing.

Loses the ball far too often & is quite slow making decision.

But i still like him and could become a valuable squad player by time.
