Our only proper box to box player. He is fundamental and we have no backup for him. Along with Montolivo being the only anchor we have and no replacement for him either. I will go ahead and say that Kucka and Montolivo are our most important and irreplaceable players right now. With Kucka and Monto together Berto can possibly look good in midfield, but with any other combo of mids Berto will look like the limited player that he is (final third operator and not good deep).

It would've made all the difference if Chievo's goal wasn't incorrectly disallowed. With Boateng coming back things are going to be twice as frustrating.

Yes but sometimes bookings/offsides/penalties go for or against you. What's unacceptable is wasting numerous easy goal scoring chances with 14% shooting accuracy

Needs a bit more energy. Basically the player Poli should have been. As someone said, the ideal bench player in an elevated Milan, but no complains if he starts.
