Last sunday the guys at RAI said they were going to show the game expecting to honour the Champions of Europe. We should field almost the same team as on Wednesday, we have no game to take care off on midweek, well theres no game till next season.

I think Pippo will blow in this game :) . I think we will all blow this game actually. Give them a gift. THE SUMMER FOR AC MILAN HAS ALREADY STARTED :D . I expect pictures of 90%-naked Nesta or Kaka in the summer. Somebody will surely look for those.

By the way, who is Bianchi, ve heard of this name a lot but never seen his face before. Somebody post Bianchi's photo on here please.

We have nothing to prove in this match. Use all the primavera guys. Hell, call up Christian Maldini. :)

CURRENT FORM

Reggina (37 points, 17th place in Serie A)

Last three results

5/6 Sampdoria 0-0 Reggina

5/13 Reggina 1-1 Chievo

5/20 Empoli 3-3 Reggina

Milan (61 points, 4th place in Serie A)

Last three results

5/6 Milan 0-0 Fiorentina

5/13 Catania 1-1 Milan

5/19 Milan 2-3 Udinese

TEAM NEWS

Reggina will be without numerous key players, as the suspended pair of Alessandro Lucarelli and Pasquale Foggia (formerly of Milan) join several injured squad members.

Milan are missing a suspended pair also, as Yoann Gourcuff and Ricardo Oliveira have accumulated too many yellow cards.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Rolando Bianchi (Reggina) – The surprise revelation in the Serie A this season, he has been on form pretty much from the word go, having scoring a hat-trick on the opening matchday back in August.

Alberto Gilardino (Milan) – With Oliveira suspended, Ronaldo injured, and Filippo Inzaghi probably getting the day off after his heroics on Wednesday, ‘Gila’ will get a chance to add to his team-leading goal tally of twelve.

POSSIBLE STARTING XI’s

Reggina (3-5-2): Campagnolo; Lanzaro, Aronica, Di Dio; Mesto, Vigiani, Amerini, Tedesco, Modesto; Amoruso, Bianchi

Milan (4-4-2): Dida; Simic, Bonera, Kaladze, Favalli; Cafu, Brocchi, Pirlo, Serginho; Borriello, Gilardino

PREDICTION

With Milan fielding such an under-strength lineup, Reggina will have the better of the chances, and their terrific duo up top of Amoruso and Bianchi will get the job done to keep Reggina in Serie A for next season.

Reggina 2-1 Milan

Joel Whitehead

CL + 3rd > CL + 4th

It just looks better to be in 3rd place. Although we're getting into the group stage directly.

Will Reginna line up a gaurd of honour to pay respect to the European Champions?

Even chelsea did that to m united when they won the EPL...

Carlo:

“Ambrosini picked up a knock, while Paolo Maldini, Inzaghi and Kaka also have a few problems. We’re also without Ronaldo and the suspended Ricardo Oliveira and Yoann Gourcuff.”

My guess is that Storari is starting keeper.

No, it should be Fiori. The guy has sat on the bench so long that he's grown cobwebs. Give him a chance!

Brocchi as an Attacking Midfielder? LOL
Pirlo would take that position with Brocchi behind

My expected starting 11:

------------------------Kalac/Fiori-----------------------

---Oddo-------Nesta---------Kaladze----------Favali---------

---Brocchi----------Gattuso--------Pirlo-----------Serginho-------

-------------------Gilardino---------Ronaldo---------------

Ancelotti said he would field a strong squad so I expect most of the regular starters that have been called up to play.

There's no need to have our "strongest squad" tomorrow. Now that we're guaranteed CL play next season with our Serie A position notwithstanding, busting our butts for points is irrelevant. The last thing we need is for someone important to blow out a knee in the last match of the season.

I think he's only using the one's that are almost 100% fit. Seedorf, Kaka, Ambro and I think Pippo despite being called up all have knocks. He might end up playing Simic, Bonera, Cafu in defence however so it may not be the strongest team.

I'm thinking something along these lines:

-------------------Storari

---Cafu------Simic------Kaladze------Favalli

--------------------Pirlo

------Gattuso------------------Brocchi

------------------Serginho

----------Gilardino-------Ronaldo

Reggina based on their season-long form definitely deserve to stay in Serie A. The fact they might not be relegated is quite an accomplishment and I would be very happy if they did not get relegated as I like the squad a lot. However I can not cheer against Milan, I never have and never will. I think if Reggina does get relegated they will look at their recent draw with Chievo as the reason, they really should have gotten a full 3 points.

For those in Canada the game is being shown LIVE tomorrow morning at 9 AM EST on both GolTV and TLN. At that time FSWC is showing Chievo v. Catania which should be a hard fought match as each team is in danger of being relegated. Should be an interesting day.

I'm thinking he probably has to and show a bona fide effort to win the match, so as not to get any flack from whoever will end up being relegated last. I remember that that happened to Ferguson just recently when they lost against West Ham.

We've saved Reggina twice from relegation during the past couple of years. We'll probably save them again. I'd go for a narrow loss (2-1).

Carlo also used Cafu as a right winger before...
Why are there no primavera players this time? Would be perfect to give them another chance...

I'd go with

GK Storari

DR Cafu DC Simic DC Kaladze DL Favalli

MR Jankulovski MC Pirlo MC Gatusso ML Serginho

SC Gilardino SC Borriello

also, Gatusso can play as DM and Pirlo as AM, giving us the well known and practiced 4-1-2-1-2 diamond :)
