I have ripped on Muntari a lot and I still don't rate him much. But he has been a pleasant surprise. Sure his passing is piss poor and most of the time he is rash in his tackling and also has poor work rate, but he is much better than Nocerino when it comes to defending. He can actually defend other than headless running

Muntari hatred is not deserved ..

He's not been good .. But whenever he's in the field by fluke or not he brings a toughness in the field which Nocerino/Aquilani/Seedorf cannot bring .

These days midfielders are not appreciated at all for any defensive work they do .. As long as they can produce those long balls/sharp passes or run around like a headless chicken they r awesome even if they can't defend if the lives depend on it ..

I'd have loved him to be available against Barca ..

In truthfulness that hate is uncalled for! lacks effort but not ability(even though he overly favours his left)

He reads the game well enough to be lazy and still be present in defence and attack.
Maybe a bench player for next year Cl run who knows, even though he looks like a bum at times when he leaves the pitch and sub with Aqua we look more vunerable.


But he does need to pick up his effort.....and if he wants to shoot he needs to get inside the box.

doing much better than I expected, Milan should keep him if they continue to be extremely cheap.

I really don't mind his play so far granted he's still new to the team. He gets lazy in the second half and I think because he's still working on his fitness. But he puts in the work defensively and although he's slow with some decisions most of his passes are spot on. The one thing I don't like when he does is waste time on the ball and be dispossessed, and I also hate the fact that sometimes he tries to dribble infront of our defense. I can count two times he's been dispossessed and Silva hasn't been happy about it. Apart from that he's been good imo

Muntari has scored twice in just six games (and not all of them as a starter)

AND he is better defensively

What I like about Muntari is that he is almost always at the right position to make a tackle or intercept the ball. He is also much better at holding the ball than Nocerino will ever be....

Nocerino has done wonders for us but hey! Muntari was highly rated once - maybe he will turn around

I dont know why so many people got problems with Muntari. Allegri is a good coach and knows what he is doing, since Muntari is playing we only draw one league game that was even undeserved. He must do something good then?? because since he is playing we are winning very easy i am not saying that its al because of him but he is a part of it. And the problem is many people dislike Muntari so every mistake he make people will comment on it everybody makes many mistakes during a football game go and watch any player from the Milan squad for 90 minutes and then point out al the negative things he did during the game then its very easy to make a player look bad. I hope everybody gives him confidence and he can become the player he was again. Without Muntari would never win the CL everybody forgets the game against Kiev were he came on second half and lashed a powerfull shot were Sneijder scored from the rebound if it wasnt for that goal Inter were already out in the group stages.

I agree he's played well. He's probably been our best side CM since he came.....

BUT he has a lot of ******ed play @ Inter to overcome before people won't be skeptical of him.
