This season has given us a lot to consider, and it will hopefully confirm that even with ibra playing like a god, we need a team around him capable to rise to the occasion.

Everyone here knows what we need, and its a shame that berlu and galliani wont do what is needed. A new midfield, and we will be more than able to compete on all fronts.

de sciglio looks like a possible left or right back, and this could be fantastic to saving us money, that we need put into the midfield.

This mercato is key, many SHOULD be leaving, the dead weight that has cost us is being cleared, and now is the time to become a team that people respect.

Galliani: "Top players? Milan already have two: Thiago Silva and Ibrahimovic. They will certainly stay here."

Galliani: "I spoke with Berlusconi after the derby last night and we talked about the usual things that we always talk about."

Galliani: "Congratulation to Ladri on winning the Scudetto. I called Agnelli last night and congratulated him."

Galliani: "The contract renewals? We will start on them this week. The door to my office will be open from tomorrow and onwards."

Galliani: "What we have to reflect upon? All the injuries, primarily. We were the best Italian side in the CL, no. 2 in Serie A." --> "and we got knocked out in the extra time of the Coppa Italia semifinals."

Galliani: "Life goes on. We will keep on fighting next season. We're thinking about the next season without any regrets and remorse."

Galliani: "Cambiasso's header? It's comparable with Robinho's goal vs. Catania, but not with Muntari's goal vs. Juventus."

Galliani: "We had many chances in the derby and we were leading. Then we committed a really ingenuous penalty and then it went like it did."

Galliani: "Now that the CL spot has been secured, we have the entire summer ahead of us to think about the next season."

Ibra: "I have no doubts about my future. The question is whether the club has any doubts about this whole project. and all the development they've said that they will do. There are many things that happen outside the team. We'll see what happens."
Ibra: "If I want to see more action and more investments from the club? Absolutely."

Galliani will keep ruining the club.

All will probably get renewal.

Three of the last five Serie A games in which AC Milan have conceded four goals were against Internazionale. Nightmare.

Ladri are still unbeaten after 37 match-days in this Serie A campaign: 22 wins, 15 draws. Scudetto.

Tonight v Cagliari Ladri have not conceded a single shot on target for the 3rd time this season in the league. Defense.

Diego Milito has scored his 6th goal in 8 Serie A appearances against AC Milan. Principe.

BERLUSCONI: "Milan threw the Scudetto to the air, it's our fault, anyways Juve deserved it because they are unbeaten"

BERLUSCONI: "Allegri? He has a contract for 2 years, I don't see why you still have to ask if he stays"

Galliani was then asked about the club’s plans for players – both in terms of the transfer market and the 10 men who have contracts expiring in June.

“New signings? We already have world class players,” he responded.

“We’ll start to discuss the renewals this week.
I don’t know with whom we will start with, there is no order, but the doors are open.”

i can feel the love, the family-like atmosphere, the friendship and commitment ripping away all our trophies for the next few years, like babies from their mothers' wombs. we've had to settle for mediocre signings, and smile at the so called "genius" of management. can't wait for us to lose the scudetto again next season, because all we'll manage to do this summer is sign someone on loan and renew our world class players' contracts.

many people talk about sacking allegri. Galliani seems to be the one in need of sacking...if he continues like this about Milan and the team, if he keeps signing muntaris, nocerinos, aquilanis for our midfield and keep renewing the seedorfs...man...idk. he is too comfortable where he is now. if he really cared, he'd point out that SOMETHING needs to change.

i'm not disgusted with him. he's done great things. i'm disappointed in him. because he no longer does great things and doesnt feel the responsibility to do them. This is the decay of a football enigma, known as A.C. Milan.

If the money where there, Galliani would sure enough spend it. Berlusconi is the one in charge. If he says "We are fine", then there is little Galliani can do about it.

I don't think it's possible to change Berlusconi's mindset and Galliani won't risk his job as Leonardo did in trying to do so. His hands are tied.

Also, Berlu is probably the one deciding who'll get renewals as it is he who pays their salaries.

Berlusconi: Milan lost title
By Football Italia staff

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi believes the 2011-12 Scudetto was lost by his Rossoneri team, but he confirms Coach Max Allegri for next season.

Juventus sealed the League title on Sunday evening after stretching their lead over Allegri’s team to an insurmountable four points with just one game to now play.

However, Berlusconi believes that whilst the Bianconeri deserve credit for their success, it was also assisted by Milan’s shortcomings.

At the end of March, the San Siro outfit commanded a four-point lead over Juve, but saw that dissipate after a run of one win from four games.

“We lost the championship because it was us who threw it to the wind, it’s our fault,” admitted the club’s owner, speaking in Moscow today.

“But Juve have also earned it through perseverance, they were unbeaten and it showed. Truly heartfelt congratulations.

“Allegri? He has a two-year contract, I don’t see why there should be these discussions about him.”

Get rid of most of the senatores, bring in some players like Montolivo, Traore, and cut wages for renewing contracts.

Money is a huge issue, and it's hurting us!!! :b:

And who has the money to afford chains? You?:o

Speaking of chains hopefully berlusconi really will start acting as the president in all its meaning this summer. Not just having back the title but also performing duties he hasnt done since stepping down. Have enough of gallianis years of incompetence in running Ac milan. Hes the only thing that should be chained somewhere.

Who do you think keeps renewing people? Who do you think shows Gattuso videos of his career to convinced him to not go to Russia which would have gotten us a EUR 10 M transfer fee? That, by the way, is more than we spent in the entire year.

Berlusconi was basically an absentee owner while being a prime minister.

Its the same shit every summer. People bring up interesting and valid points, only to repeat the same things the following summer. Milan have been run in a certain way for a long time now. With Berlu's magnificent tenure drawing to its end, I wonder what life would be like without these two brilliant clowns. Would milan excel, or barely remain in the shadows of what is the most successful management in european club football history? I don't know ... But I really hope berlu leaves us in good hands, because even if he resurrected milan, milan did its part in his own personal agendas. He owes this to us.

Best gift would be a stadium; whether san siro our somewhere else, milan need a world class stadium for much needed revenue.

I am aware of Galliani's part in this, but I also have a feeling that it's Berlusconi who is pulling the strings and telling Galliani who to renew, since it's paid from his "wallet."

Surely Berlusconi, as any other businessman, keeps an eye on their investments.

I am pretty sure we will be fine if Berlu decides to sell

You forget that Milan is a worldwide renowned brand and investors would be lining up to buy the club if it were on the market

if he doesn't want to invest, the best thing he can do for the club's sake is sell.

Alwaleed, Berlusconi hold talks on economic issues

Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal (left) shakes hands with Silvio Berlusconi, former prime minister of Italy, at the George V Hotel in Paris, France.

JEDDAH – Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received Silvio Berlusconi, former prime minister of Italy, at the George V Hotel during the prince’s trip to Paris, KHC said in a statement Sunday.

The meeting was attended by Princess Ameerah Al-Taweel, Vice Chairwoman of Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation, and a delegation included Tareq Bin Ammar, owner of Quinta Communications; Jamal Khashoggi, General Manager of Alarab news channel that is owned by Prince Alwaleed; Heba Fatani, senior executive manager, Corporate Communications Department; and Dr. Nahla Alanbar, private executive assistant to Alwaleed.

During the meeting, the prince and Berlusconi discussed regional and international developments on the social and economic fronts, among others.
