wtf u newbs facepalming for? Gattuso was a huge miss this season. All those 1-0 wins that we had last season turned 1-1 because of his absence. Bonehead Abate couldnt differentiate san siro from san marino without gattuso giving him directions. I bet gattuso's absence is half the reason why he has sucked so hard this season.
Van Bommel + Gattuso = ultimate destruction leaving our strikers to do their business in peace. Gattuso + Van Boss 7 goals 18 games end of.

Galliani's biggest regret however should be missing out on Tevez and keeping souffle for legs instead.

true that

Gattuso at the minimum isn't the worst signing that they could make, but it shows a serious lack of ingenuity and an inability to say goodbye. Of the senatores, the only ones who I want back are Ambrosnini and Nesta. I can live with those two plus Gattuso.

GALLIANI: OK TO THE CONTEMPORARY Ladri-Cagliari at 20.45 as the derby 30/04/12

GALLIANI: OK TO THE CONTEMPORARY Ladri-Cagliari at 20.45 as the derby

It 's enough to agree to an interview Juventus and AC Milan for the contemporaneity of 37.ma day.

The calendar provides for Ladri-Cagliari games to 15 in Trieste with the Milan derby at night.

Marotta has contacted Galliani and gave the Rossoneri to the maximum availability so that the two challenges are played simultaneously.

If the League will decide in that way the hypothesis is that the match of Ladri is moved in the evening.

Gianluigi Paracchini: "What 'Da Milan' means? It's a true thing, it's an invented phrase. In Milan's long history, the team has always had this DNA"

Gianluigi Paracchini: "This DNA of cordiality. I don't remember Milan making a press silence like Juve did."

Gianluigi Paracchini: "This converted Milan in very loved team in Italy & the world. "

Gianluigi Paracchini: "I've traveled a lot of work, and you'd ask me: 'How can Milano have 2 soccer teams?' Well, that happens also in Vietnam!"

Gianluigi Paracchini: "If Berlusconi changed Milan's DNA? I think he came and this was already a big team, the 1st Italian to win the Champions Cup"

Gianluigi Paracchini: "Berlusconi added to Milan his extraordinary determination and his entrepreneurship capacity"

They can all still contribute

For me issue is at what cost. Renewing ambrosini and gattuso at 2+ mil when neither will see 30 games is ridiculous and why I'm pissed

Consider yepes at 900k for ex. He's a squad player who contributes too. And is paid like one. Or mvb who makes 1.8 and actually starts most

That's why, as much as I hated losing pirlo, the decision wasn't poor. The poor decisions were other renewals and inability to compensate

Fly Emirates have nothing to do with the shit Dubai went through with Emaar and Nakheel though.

and Fly Emirates are a sponsor, they wouldn't simply buy a club.

an unambitious club that sells out every single home game.

If I was the head of Fly Emirates I wouldn't build a stadium for Milan, it wouldn't sell out and the hooligans would probably set fire to the chairs if Milan are losing :fp:

There were rumors a couple of years back that a Dubai consortium (Dubai World I think) were keen on buying Milan....

Don't know about Fly Emirates tho, seems a bit of a stretch. As far as I know, they have never shown any interest in actually owning a team (and unlikely to spend a bucketload either) plus there would be a conflict of interest cauz they sponser a number of football teams. The only thing I heard was that they would fund our purchase of Honda (pay his salary) which was a BS rumour

The worse part is, that there DEFINITELY are gonna be offers if Milan are put on the market. Heck, there are gonna be offers even if only part of the club is put up for sale or if it is floated on the stock exchange...

But our delusional president would rather have us crash and burn rather than share the glory with someone else....

Galliani: "Berlusconi wasn't at San Siro last night, but he was supposed to have been there."

Galliani, jokingly: "I spoke with Berlusconi before and after the match and he asked me how far I was in the negotiations with Guardiola."

Galliani: "Muntari is a good player, and he has always been that."

Galliani: "I always used to say to a friend: 'Your rejects will become my queens...' But obviously I wasn't referring to football players."

Galliani: "We're no. 1 in Italy when it comes to marketing. We have a commercial revenue that is comparable with the big European clubs."

Galliani: "We're doing wellin Italy. We've sold out all the current sponsor positions and increased the commercial revenue by €15 million."

Galliani: "Milan is a great advantage for our sponsors, who have been very loyal to us."

Galliani: "What Milan is a missing is a stadium that they own completely."

Galliani: "We will try to give hospitality to all the sponsors that are with us. We have innovative ideas with regard to next year."

Galliani: "If we add all the points from last season and this season, then we’re no. 1 in Italy." --> "We made it to the quarterfinals of the CL and the semifinals of the CI and we won the Italian Super Cup."

Galliani: "In football you can win and lose, but what really counts is to always be competitive and remain at the highest level."

Galliani: "Whilst waiting for a future stadium that can increase our revenues, we need to improve the commercial sector."

Galliani: "If we want to reach the big clubs and be competitive in Europe, we have to increase our financial turnover."

Galliani: "It’s not a coincidence that when Milan were beating the English and Spanish club, Milan had higher revenues than Real Madrid."

Galliani: "But then different things happened, like broadcasting rights which are being distributed in a different way in Spain."--> "The Melandri law has ruined us."

Galliani: "Last night we were happy to see one of our Primavera players, De Sciglio, play at San Siro."

Galliani: "We saw De Sciglio play, but also others like Abate and Antonini are products of our youth department."

Galliani: "We are united and calm. There's still a long way to go with regard to the Scudetto."

Galliani: "Milan among the 8 best teams in Europe? Every time we play a CL match, I look at the rankings to see where we are."

Galliani: "There are teams ahead of us in the CL rankings which will be difficult to surpass. Currently we're 7th."

Galliani: "If Chelsea doesn't make it to the CL, then we will be in pot 1 next year in the CL."

Galliani: "A cataclysm would have to occur, but we are in the top 8 in the CL rankings."

Galliani: "How can I predict if Inter will make it to the CL? I want to know who predicted a CL final between Bayern and Chelsea."

Galliani: "Similarities between the Milan-Lazio Scudetto-race in 1999 and Milan-Juve now? No, it's different situation in my opinion."

Galliani: "Now we have lost many points at home, but we've gained many points away from home."

Galliani: "Football hasn't got any explanations, it's a sport that has a cyclical nature."

Galliani: "You have to accept victories and defeats. There will be a moment, where you either stop winning or start winning."

Galliani: "What Milan is missing is a stadium that they own completely."

Galliani, jokingly: "I keep the photo of Muntari's disallowed goal on my phone, so I don't forget it." -->"That way I can walk around, look at my phone and see a goal."

Galliani: "I've never understood the difference between playing first or last. In the end you have to win and that's it."

Broken record. Always the same shit. Stadiums, television rights in Spain, all that was missing was "fine as we are, most successful club, grazie presidente".

Galliani, jokingly: "All the offsides calls that have gone against us? Baresi is better at spotting offsides than the linesmen are."

Gallian, jokingly: "Maybe Baresi would have been better than the linesmen but not because he's biased, but simply because he can see them."

Galliani: "It’s a shame that we drew Barça in the CL quarterfinals. It would perhaps have gone better if we had gotten another club."

Galliani: "I was in the changing room when I heard the fans at San Siro celebrating Lecce's goal."

Galliani: "I feared that it was a another hoax, but fortunately it was all true this time."

Galliani: "Now we will try to win these two last matches and then see what happens."

Galliani: "I don’t know who will win the Scudetto, but we have been good at never giving up."

Galliani: "I have both Muntari's goal vs. Juve and Robinho's goal vs. Catania on my phone, but I look at Muntari's goal more often."

Galliani: "Tevez? I won't talk about the transfer market. We're only thinking about ending the season in a good way." -->"Anyway, I would never change our attack."

Galliani: "The letter to FIGC? It’s up to UEFA's executive committee to decide, but I hope that they’ll at least add goal line referees."

Galliani: "The low attendance last night? Unfortunately there are few people at the stadium whenever we play on a Wednesday."

Galliani: "We have the highest income from tickets, when the matches are played on Sundays at 15:00."

Galliani: "What I spoke with Berlusconi about? We talk about everyone and everything."

Galliani: "We have been number 1 ever since Allegri joined us. I don't have anything to criticize him about."

Galliani: "We won the Scudetto last year, we're 1 point behind Juve and we've managed to get 159 points in 2 years. I don’t see the problem"

Galliani: "Allegri has a way of making the midfielders play in a manner that makes them score many goals."

Galliani: "The pitch at San Siro? We're talking with Inter, and we should be able to agree on installing a semi-artificial pitch."

Galliani: "All the injuries that we've had this season? It will be a very important topic to discuss after the season ends."

Galliani: "I'm currently preparing a list containing each and every injury that all the players have had this season."

Galliani: "Which match I would like to play again? None of them, it would be enough for me to play one match again (vs. Juve)."

Galliani: "Delio Rossi made a mistake. He overreacted, but it was wrong of Ljajic to provoke him after being substituted."

Galliani: "I have a great relation with Ibra, but I've never asked him about whether he received an SMS from Mourinho or not."

Galliani: "Ibra has already said that he wants to stay at Milan, because he really likes being here."

Galliani: "I don't know if Mourinho really called Ibra or not. I love Ibra, but I've never been the jealous type..."

Galliani: "Silvio Berlusconi loves Milan. He has put a lot of sporting passion and a lot of money into this club."

Galliani: "We haven't talked with Seedorf about his contract. We will do that from the 14th of May and onwards."

Galliani: "Seedorf’s contract is expiring and the same goes for 9 other players. We have a lot of work to do."

Galliani: "Either Seedorf will continue with us or go elsewhere. If he leaves us, then it will definitely be a peaceful farewell."

Thursday May 3 2012 Galliani on Milan offensive

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani claims the club have no plans to revamp their attacking options in the summer.

There are suggestions that the Rossoneri will make some alterations after almost selling Alexandre Pato to Paris SG and then failing to sign Man City’s Carlos Tevez in January.

We’re not thinking about changing our attack,” he told Sky Sport Italia on Thursday. “We’ll stay as we are.

There will be time from May 14 until August 31 to think about the transfer market. Our thoughts for now are just on ending the season well.”

Milan are just one point behind leaders Juventus after the Old Lady conceded a late equaliser against Lecce last night.

I was just walking around in the changing rooms and I didn’t believe it,” he added. “I thought it was a joke that Lecce had equalised, but it was true.

It’s three or four games now that I decide to stop watching Milan matches with about 10 minutes left.

I can’t predict the future, all I will say is that we are having a great season. We have 77 points with two games left.

Let’s just look ahead and we did well to not give up on the Scudetto when everything seemed lost.

Milan face Inter on Sunday before finishing against Novara, while Juve will play Cagliari and Atalanta.
