Milan has always been a poor rich side. We can make two types of signings. 1) Budgetary signings made by Galliani. 2) Crazy ass splashes made by Berlu..

The problem is whether Higuain would come under category 2 or not.. If he does, then there is no issue of affording him. But first, let us hope that Berlusconi takes good note of him.

Type 1 signings are also damn crucial, in my view.

Exactly. Thing is, who in the world though we'd have Ibra and be Scudetto contenders midway through the summer transfer season (2010). No one. I remember how we were all just excited about Boateng a bit and even Sokratis. Opportunity presented itself, and then we are where we are today. Thing is, if Berlu wants it Berlu gets it. Berlu wanted Ibra - we got Ibra. Galliani went to Barca saying : " I'm not coming back without Ibra ", and that had a lot to do with Berlu wanting Ibra.
