Is Illaramendi hurt? He's not on the bench for Madrids match tonight. If he's not a loan move for him looks more likely.
Maybe, at the end of the day, for one time my forever-optimistic-naive way to look on things won't have been that naive or unrealistic
Look, if I wasn't so optimistic all the time I wouldn't support this team anymore I think, it's just my way to look on things in live overall. Glass is always half full and so on. I know things are not looking splendid right now, but when I compare the situation when Galliani and Baraba were at war and Allegri our manager with the situation today - a management who seems to pull on the same string (Silvio included - wow!) and Pippo who brings back a "hard-working-be-humble-not-divas" mentality - then I can't deny that things got better. Not good or splendid or excellent - just better. And for me that's enough to look at least partly optimistic forward. That's how I think and I stand for it![]()
.
Generally (not refering to you Razor anymore):
We are not the only ones having problems in Serie A, it's the whole league being in a crisis. Roma for example who has often been named as an example of a team who's quite successfull with smart transfers and so called "good management" ended up in the target list of UEFA's FFP task force. It was reported in august, september and recently again.
I have to underline that I don't think everything is good or perfect at AC Milan, but on the other hand, things could be worse. Is Roma really the example we should follow, considered the last reports of constant rising financial debts? Maybe our current transfer-policy is not satisfying, but probably we have no other choice. Sure the Essien vs. Jorginho case is an example for poor management. I think G learned his lession. My last post about Torres was to explain my view at this transfer; I don't think he was a panic buy like Essien.
The other example who people likes to mention to underline our "poor management" is the Cristante-case: We wantet to keep him, we rejected several times Benficas offers and Silvio himself said he wants Cristante to be a future key-player of Milan. At the end, it was Cirstante himself expressing that he wants to leave, that he wants to take what he thinks is the easier way. He refused to fight for his spot under Pippo, he thought he would get more playing time at Benfica. I don't know why so many people are blaming our management who really tried everything to keep him instead of blaming Cristante who at the end of the day was the one who didn't want to fight for this shirt.
the offers we rejected were in the 4m range....so its only logical to reject those offers. and cristante didnt say anything about leaving milan while still a milan player.he only said that he wanted to join benfica after his transfer which also is common among players when they join a club to say that they wanted to be there...
Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani spoke about the exit of Cristante: “The boy asked us to sell him because they are too many players here. I tried to convince him but he wanted to go on loan. I had proposed to him to go on loan to another Italian team but he said that he didn’t want to play against Milan so he went abroad. We reinvested the amount we received for Cristante in Bonaventura, who is still very young and has great qualities, both on the human and the technical aspects.”
Baselli - talented young Italian![]()
But Muntari will still be the starter.
It's also common not to say at least officially and in public that you want to leave as long as the deal isn't done. Afterwards both Pippo and Galliani said it was Cristante who asked to leave while both tried to convince him to stay… it was Cristante's choice to leave, not Milan's.
Wait here is one of numerous sources:
are you fucking kidding me??? did you ever expect thatwould tell that he wanted to sell him and not the player wanted to go??
i wonder about some members iq level..

What is this?Geis confirms Milan talks
Germany Under-21 international Johannes Geis is in talks with Milan, confirmed the Mainz man’s agent.
“It’s true, we have been contacted by intermediaries coming from Italy,” representative Bjorn Bezemer told German paper Kicker.“At the moment I cannot say any more, but it is an honour for any professional football player to be of interest to a great club like Milan.”
Geis is a 21-year-old central midfielder with a contract holding him to Mainz until 2017.
He has also been linked to Borussia Dortmund and made the move from Greuther Furth in July 2013 for just €900,000.

Coleman is the player from Éire we need.![]()
Also, G has apparently approached Everton's Ireland international McCarthy. (apparently he doesn't want to renew) Didn't Everton pay big money for this guy?
we will get kuzmanovic. he is free next season.
kuzmanovic pizzaro lazzari. vamos.
I think Illaramendi is the midfielder that will come on loan. Maybe someone else that is cheap if a midfielder leaves (Essien gone or Saponara on loan). But what's the difference, Inzaghi would still field Muntari in the starting XI every chance he gets. He was going to sub Van Ginkel on yesterday in the last minute or so of extra time, if I was MVG I would've told him to shove it and took a seat. Baffles me how Niang hasn't been given a chance either on the wing or at CF.

Id take Shane Long instead of any CF at Milan on current form...
Everton around €16/€17m for him last year, his contract is until 2018.He's no world beater but us good , better than Poli Muntari Essien Saponara thats for sure. What Everton would want Milan cant afford.
A Tipperary man playing for Milan
As good as Keane's record is, hope Long starts against Scotland.
