Well we actually saw Simic play, we only theorized about Kerkez.

I know some believe Simic isnt good but what I saw was a confident defender that didnt make silly mistakes players far older than him make all the time. I think he really should've been given more time last season but they chose differently. Saying Gabbia is ahead is also quite funny because they sent him away and when he returned he was playing better than all of our CB's, so much so that Thiaw seems to be on the chopping block this summer.

AZ sold Kerkez, for how much? like over 15 mill. If we give up on these players quickly then we should be making something more than peanuts and hope for a deal down the line, especially if we continue to struggle purchasing. Our supposed strategy seems the opposite of in sync.
