I’m not saying that Milan will be successful in the CL with these players as starters, but that could be the group the carries the culture, the continuity and the passion that’s been lacking for many years. Players who are also bound to permanent fixtures in the Italian national team for years to come.

I think that the only time they should look abroad is when they have a chance to add either Star players that elevates the starting-11, or wonderkids bound to reach stardom.

I don't get why Pavlovic gets so much hate.
It is true that he makes mistakes (who doesn't), but he is still young for a defender.
He is very tall and despite that he is not slow, but on the contrary he is quite fast when he gets going.
Sometimes he looks clumsy (again cuz of his height and long legs), but he is actually VERY good with the ball on his feet and when he goes forwards he is a threat for the opponent.
And lastly, but for me still very important - the guy is not holding back and every match gives his all energy.
I would give him a whole season as a starter under new coach/system before making the final decision if he is good enough for us or no.
Maybe the bar is not high, but for me the characteristics that he has, makes him our best defender atm.
