Van Nistelrooy tells Real Madrid: Huntelaar has everything
tribalfooball.com - June 05, 2008

Ruud van Nistelrooy has backed Real Madrid's pursuit of Holland teammate Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The Dutch ace said: "I played with him at PSV. He is a typical No9, he has everything. Very good in the air, and with both his left and right foot.

"He has a great future outside the Netherlands."

much better option than adebayor. And prolly 10 mil cheaper

I think its the 24 gols he scored in the league that has them interested.

I don't understand why people are so against him, yeah He's expensive but its not your money so why do you care? He's what we need, tall, physical, clinical, and younger than both Drogba and Eto'o. As for questions about how well he would do for Milan. Well he has scored those gols for Arsenal - who like Milan play a narrow, short passing, posession based game, with the exception that his pace will be even more dangerous in Italy. First striker we've been linked with who I am genuinely excited about.

Galliani: We rule the market Thursday 5 June, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani believes the Diavolo have dominated the transfer market in Italy this summer as he looks for a big-name striker.

The Diavolo need to make sweeping changes after finishing outside the Champions League qualification zone.

They have already been active in the market and now Galliani is tracking one final acquisition in the form of a top-class hitman.
“It seems to me that Milan can be considered the side that have done best in the market up to now,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I don’t think any other Italian club has done what we have.

“We have brought back a striker in Marco Borriello who scored 19 goals last season and I don’t think that is less important than a signing.

“Then we have brought home goalkeeper Christian Abbiati and purchased wing-back Gianluca Zambrotta and a great midfielder in Mathieu Flamini.

“Now we will see if we can achieve our objective of signing another great striker.”

Arsenal front man Emmanuel Adebayor is the new name to be suggested and there were rumours today that the player had accepted the move, leaving the two clubs to come to an agreement.

“There is a rule that states that you can’t make a private agreement with a player who is under contract with another club,” Galliani scoffed.

“I don’t know whether a new striker will arrive from England – we will see.”

yeah we need a striker but we also need a CB, please dont spend £32mil on adebayor get huntelaar for £17mil and zapata for £16mil thats £33mil a much better deal imo.

cant believe he thinks borriello and abbiati are good signings he resting on his laurels again like the past two years.

Galliani clearly hasn't checked Fiorentina's transfer list as of yet. More bullshit from Baldy, we're used to it. I bet his world class striker will be Sheva on free loan.

the probelm about money is that they dont like to spend. and if they will give 40m for adebayor, this 99% means that we wont buy noone anymore. this is real problem. if they do like to spend no problem, but they dont! but we need 4 or 5 new players, the best ones!
and 40m is little too much to see if he is realy good.

He certainly rules the yellow ties one.

All this talk from G. about Abbiati is worring me. It seems that he talks like the GK sector has been taken care of. Done. Finito.

ruling what????

Alves Move To Barcelona Agreed
Barcelona believe that they have concluded a deal to sign Daniel Alves from Sevilla after face-to-face talks finally saw both clubs agree on a transfer fee.

The Brazilian international was informed by his agent that talks had gone well and that the two sides had settled on a fee of €32m plus incentives and co-operation with a bid for Fernando Navarro.

With the Blaugrana keen to push a move through, technical secretary, Txiki Begiristain and, sporting vice president, Marc Ingla, met with Sevilla president José María del Nido and sporting director Monchi.

Talks last from midday until around 8pm and saw all four putting suggestions on the table that eventually resulted in a deal being struck.

While Sevilla began by demanding €35m, Barça stuck to their estimation of under €30m plus higher incentives, but as the day progressed a fee of €32m was settled upon.

Del Nido wanted more money up front and less in performance related instalments and once the Catalan giants agreed talk turned to Navarro and Barça's involvement.

Sevilla have been quoted €10m by Mallorca for the full-back which Barcelona still have a stake in, but they want to pay only €7m.

In a curious arrangement, it is believed that the two sides have agreed that some of the difference over €7m that Sevilla pay will be added to Barça's fee for Alves.

There was a suggestion that the Blaugrana would buy Navarro outright and then use him in a swap deal with Sevilla, but the desire to have the transfer decided this week scuppered that plan.

Alves, who is currently in the United States with the Brazil squad, was told to prepare to join Barcelona and was said to be ecstatic at the news.

Barcelona have already signed Gerard Piqué, Seydou Keita and Martín Cáceres this summer and after Alves want just one more forward to complete their squad according to reports.

Pirlo is widely regarded as the best deep lying playmaker in world football, and a crucial part of the AC Milan set-up.

However the 29-year-old, who has had a poor domestic season, is said to be unsettled at San Siro and considering his future.

Pirlo is unhappy about the lucrative contract that new signing Mathieu Flamini received, as well as the financial improvements that many of his team-mates have recently had on their deals.

New Barcelona boss Josep Guardiola is a huge admirer of Pirlo, partly because he has a similar style of play to which the Spaniard had when he was a player.

SKY Italia says that Guardiola wants to build his Barca midfield around Pirlo next season, and is set to make a huge transfer bid for the player.

Pirlo is currently on international duty with the Italian national team ahead of Euro 2008. The Azzurri play their first game of the tournament in Group C on Monday night against Holland, and Pirlo is certain to be key to their chances of success.

I`M OPENING THIS THREAD TO PRESENT A HOT PROSPECT ,A SIMILAR TYPE OF PLAYER TO IBRAHIMOVIC.
He is technic like Pato and is creative like Pirlo .
His name is Erli `Pupi` Cupi, born in Albania 3.2.2008. He has shown his quality in his debute in `Cup of Republic` for youngsters, where was rewarded as "Best Player" and "Best Goalscorer" in only 8 matches he did 11 goals and 13 assists . He`s a perfect assistman. It`s difficult to take him the ball because he always do the right thing .The qualities that he has are absolutely extraordinary for its age.A month ago,he has played in a tournament in Austria, between here against Inter, Lyon and Dinamo Zagreb, where he shone (3 assists, 2 goals including the goal victory with Dinamo) Despite his team was eliminated. Indeed, Sturm Graz has made a bid that he refused . Actually he plays with Geraldine FC Tirana, with 94-95.

His video:

He's obviously been hitting the same sh*t that he's been on for the last few years. But this certainly takes the cake; Milan have been above all(in Italy) in the transfer market.

Fuck Barcelona, nobody gets Pirlo away from Milan. Even he plays poor, he controls the game of Milan and if he explodes Milan is unbeatable. The only problem this year has been that Pirlo had no players/options to pass to, when you have some backs running the line you can really see Pirlo play (remember Janku-goal against Sevilla). Pirlo needs wingers to give him space and options.

By the way, Dossena to Liverpool, why are all the good Italians leaving Italy, this can't be good for the Italian football and teams. We get Zambrotta, the old men who even isn't a original LB and Liverpool get Dossena, one of the best Italian LB that I know.
Vargas is the only hope we can get so we can put Zambro on his right side but Vargas isn't coming this way, isn't he going to Fiorentina ?
We should steal Fiorentina's managment straight away.

barca agree terms with mancini...

now out of all the stupid rumours that have come out in the last few days, this one makes me feel saddest, why arent we showing interest atleast, this guy is marvellous, he is the best available winger and he already knows the italian game very well and is proven in europe too with some beautiful performances in the CL and he has 1 year left on his contract so he should be worth alot

If we want to change tactics and start playing with wingers, we need not one, but 3-4 new players.

i read that comment on the official website, all i have to say is i can name 15 clubs who could have made the 3 signings we made (as good as they are)if they were interested so we havnt really rules anything
was there even any competition for flamini or borrielo, actully i know flamini had little to no serious interest

we got abbiati who was only on loan, we got flamini on a free with only arsenal and juve challengers so we offered more money, we got zambro while most other teams are going after younger full-backs, we got borriello who was already co-owned and because he is shit nobody else wanted him even genoa didn't hold out for more.
so to say we have done the best in the market is complete bs.
he says we will buy one last player bing a striker if it isn't berba, huntelaar, gomez, eto'o or benzema then it isn't good enough. we will probably get one out of drogba or adebayor, drogba is too old to spend alot of money on and adbayor is way too expensive.

we will only rule the market when we sign a good young defender and actually beat teams to the signatures of other players without offering just more money.
