Yes, players value huge money more than career these days, but it might not be just that. Considering the number of injuries he has had, Silva knows best how long he can carry on in Europe. This may be his last chance at a big salary.

I will judge this transfer after the season.

Feel indifferent towards his departure ,might be due to the mass exodus of the veterans ...didn't have the same connection with him as I did with Nesta,Maldini,Kaka,Sheva,Pirlo etc.May be because I tend to remember outstanding individual performances in the CL as opposed to a constant good-great performances in the league.

A shame that he never won more with us ,but I wish him all the best

Silva was a new breath for the team. I was dreaming about a new competitive squad built around him. Promising, with great technics and character... and then we sold him at the moment he becomes the best. That's pitty and I can't see what Berlusconi expects from this deal.

Milan is comdemned to become the Arsenal of Italy. Always sell the best players and permanently keep trying to rebuild a squad.
