Worst team in the WC

Not only is it too early for such a thread, it seems rather ridiculous to have all 32 teams couched into the poll. I agree with those who've said that just getting to the finals is an accomplishment in itself.

More than worst teams, I think that there are some dissapointments(teams one thought could have reached higher, or at least show more football), but its early to talk about them. Anyway, after 197(I'm inventing the number but it was one 1.. something) coutries that were in the qualifiers, being between the best 32 teams is an honor.

Serbia make me laugh, they r just like saudi arabia last world cup (8-0 from germany) b4 the world cup, they said serbia is the second best defence in the tournament after italy, well...it seems 2 me that they r i swear i couldn't just stop laughing after each goal Argentina scores after the 3rd. Serbia r just a joke, i dunno how they even quialififed, but i'm pleased with them, they r making the world cup fun so far

Ukraine didnt play as bad as the 4-0 result showed...it was their first ever world cup match and now a lot of pressure has been lifted, look at them to still advance in the group...c'mon guys open your eyes

Well San Marino, and friends can help you get such a record. I knew Serbia wasn't strong enough, that's why I never really saw Group C as the real group of death (3 great teams, though).

And who are the two that voted for Costa Rica??? Hehe, no worries, I would have done the same(we have been clearly weak in almost every aspect, but I just can't vote against my country). I don't even want to think how much Argentina would have scored against us.

Not exactly... i think FIFA's world integrationg policy is ruining football.... teams like Denmark and Belgium and others sit out.... and Saudi Arabia and Tunisia and Costa Rica end up in the WC .... Asia teams and weaker N.American teams should play European teams placed 2nd or 3rd in qualifying groups..... so the 32 out there are not really the best 32 on the planet...

but big disappointments are also France,Ukraine

well... there is a reason for Asian teams to participate... financial... etc... besides... it's the WC... if it's made up solely on European & South American teams... it can't be called the WC... that's why even Oceania teams can take part if they qualify...

And let me add Brazil as one of the worst nations so far, omg what an 1st half vs The Soceroos.

Dida - Continues where he left at Milan, with another head-shaking performance.
Roberto Carlos - He's one of the weak spots in the Selecao. Probably toooo old.
Juan - OK player and OK performances so far, I don't understand why Lyons brilliant CB-pair Cacapa-Cris have been left out.
Lucio - Has looked like a fool several times with opponents passing by him rather easy.
Cafu - OK performace by the Capitano, nothing more nor less.
Ze Roberto - Full of energy and trying hard to make things better.
Kaka - Good performances vs tough opponents, bravo Ricky!
Emerson - No comment. Why is Gilberto Silva benched?
Ronaldinho - Seems like he's eqhausted, but not easy to play against such thight man-marking.
Adriano - Nice goal vs Australia, looked rotten vs Croatia. Hasn't shown anything so far.
Ronaldo - He touched the ball 9 times during the whole match vs Croatia (omg). Another bad performance vs Australia.
