If he's fit for Lecce I'd look to start him in place of Van Bommel. But I don't see Allegri starting him inplace of Aqua of Nocerino right now.

Yes, we could use him against small teams or in replacement of Nocerino/Aqua in case they need to rest.

:fp: very disrespectful of you. If well rested I would field him against Barcelona.

Yeah I'd like to see Seedorf as an anchor too. That way he doesn't have to run around as much, he can just defend and set-up attacks.

He was fielded and was not a wonder (couple dribblings and couple passes). Yes he is big game player, but his body isn't anymore. Do you actually believe Seedorf would cause problems for fit and quick defences/mids?

Actually, I'd like to see him in Nocerino's place. I'm curious to see him, Aquilani, and van Bommel together in action. There's a possibility they could control most possession and with Aquilani's, Boateng's and Robinho's movement it could be intriguing.

No. Just No.

Nocerino has been vital to the team so far. The amount of movement he provides is one of the reasons why we have been playing so well in the last two games.

Heck, it is one of the reasons why Aquilani has been playing so well....

Nocerino is no better than Brocchi was at milan.

He's getting way too much credit for doing nothing special other than running. Thinking he's a ball winner? nah...

A very solid CM who does nothing exceptional.

You are wrong here. How many NT caps had Brochi?

he has 1 :o

so?

Nocerino plays in a period where italian NT is much worse period....Brocchi was backing up a truly world class midfield @ milan and for the azzuri.

Doesn't make Nocerino special for playing for worse teams in both aspects.

This is nothing AGAINST Nocerino. He's a solid CM. Nothing more. Nothing less. He's a back up/squad quality player.

its not hard for nocerino to crush this brocchi status people are linking him with, since he moved to the left he's been very good. I can see room for improvement, and if he can continue the performances we saw against palermo and bate and further improve himself, rino can pack his bags in january while flamini will have to take a huge wage cut if he wants to stay.

Personally I think it's too early to tell either way. For me he looks very promising, he may just end up being a squad player but as far as I can tell he's a much more intelligent player than Flamini, makes more intelligent runs, holds the ball better, holds position better and his passing range is pretty decent, he seems very confident too, so far, I trust him for our team, but he must improve still. He's in the right place. I wish him all the best.

It was the only good game Brocchi had with us on that season my memory.

MOTM though. Gazzetta gave him 8. Grande Brocchi Balboa. King of Rome!

This is nothing AGAINST Nocerino. He's a solid CM. Nothing more. Nothing less. He's a back up/squad quality player.

I disagree in the LCM position he has proved to be devastating both offensively and defensively. He is talented, calm under pressure and a workhorse who can reclaim balls. Great short passing and a great attitude.

He has the ability to be a great player. Yes sure he works hard but don't let this fool you into thinking that is all he does. He adds strength and rigidity to Milan's midfield.

A very intelligent player, I for one would like to see him play as a DM giving MVB a rest who frankly is not playing as well as he did last season.

Although I do agree from the outset he has only played 6 games for Milan, he needs to keep it up....We will see in time..It is too early but to class him as a squad player or the next greatest thing depends on how he performs throughout this season and the next.

Clarence did took part in the match at todays training!
Although he might skip the trip to rome to, two physioterapists from Holland are going to Milanello to look at Clarence knee.
Hopefully it will be better soon.

Come back Seedorf!

heh...

i'm not sold he's anything other than what he's been his whole career which is... solid CM, nothing special. Brocchi-esque.

I don't dislike him by any means though. I hope that's clear. I just think new rino type stuff is premature

I would like to see Seedorf as Anchor when he returns. Less running and more playmaking/defending/chilling I think he'd do well. With 2 fighters backing him up on each side (Nocerino and Boateng). It could work very well.

For fuck sake man stop with this stupid argument.
Noce produced in couple of weeks more good games than Brocchi ever did with Milan.
Noce's passes & vision is much more better than Brocchi & even Gatu who both lose possessions much more.
I also witnessed him deliver long passes which is a sign that the guy could pack more than the obvious.
Its no coincidence that Gatu or Brocchi would never score two goals in one game.
For a defensive player his offensive contribution + runs arent bad @ all.
