Thank you Seedorf for all you have done!

Now retire from playing football and help us with organizing instead!

it was weird...i had mixed feelings yesterday for seedorf on the field...

in the beginning, when he was standing up as captain...i saw him speaking to the refs and van persie...and his demeanor, quiet calmness before such an important game...i think it was so important.

van persie, if you watched him...seemed like a small child next to seedorf and it was as though he recognized the experience in seedorf when they shook hands. but even then, seedorf was sophisticated and concerning...he seemed to offer support to van persie but probably thinking inside "we are going to mow your team down young man"

then the game started and while seedorf certainly didn't make mistakes or cause the team problems...when he got injured, i felt a sense of relief that he would be subbed, even though i'm not particularly an emanuelson fan

anyway, it's difficult to say but seedorf probably should be relied upon less by the team so other midfielders can play

but i still think he is an important member of the team

We would've won with or without him yesterday. Probably not as convincingly since Urby's superior mobility made us more secure defensively than what we most likely would be with Seedorf. On the other hand, we might have looked even better offensively with Seedorf since he's great in a deeper role in slow tempo matches, especially against team's who're shit defensively.

LOL on that title screen they blatantly made him look older, he looks like 70 years old in that pic lol

on a serious note, he has to leave at the end of the season. for him to expect the club to always keep him is just arrogant

Football Italia says he's out for a month.

Seedorf out for a month

By Milan have been dealt another injury blow as Clarence Seedorf has been ruled out of action for a month after picking up an injury midweek.

The Dutch veteran was forced off early on in the Rossoneri’s Champions League first leg clash with Arsenal on Wednesday night. Tests have now revealed the full extent of his complaint, with a strained hamstring diagnosed and likely to keep the No 10 out of action for at least a month.

His is not the only new injury concern for Coach Massimiliano Allegri, as Philippe Mexes also reportedly left training this week with a suspected sprained ankle.

The 4-0 win over Arsenal saw Kevin Prince Boateng and Alexandre Pato both return from recent lay-offs, but in preparing for the weekend trip to Cesena, Allegri is still without more than half a dozen first-team names, as well as the suspended Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Things happen for a reason

Pato hurt - El Shaarawy explodes

Seedorf hurts - Urby shines

Seedorf out, doesn't bother me one bit. Don't like players getting hurt, but it seems to be the only way to keep him off the field.
Hope he gets a bench spot, like gattuso, to still be with the players during the game

Mexes may just be very minor. Let's not react until we hear the official.

Seedorf though, the longer the better.

I hope he coaches us in some capacity this offseason and beyond

I agree that he has been really poor this season but you can express your happiness of his exclusion in the team without sounding like you're celebrating his injury.

i'm sorry but as much as i love milan i just hate when he plays .. he slower the tempo by 50 percent.. i don hate him i just hate how he plays.. especially in counter attacks he would not pass straight to the player in front instead he would make a turn and do something stupid and make complete mess wit it.. he should be an asisstant coach not a player

so u take pleasure in the fact that one of our most experienced midfielders got injured in the middle of an injury crisis in midfield? :fp:

even if he doesn't start he can still play a valuable role as a sub.
