What a bunch of idiots, how can they blame the referee ? They can oly curse themselves...

"If a spectator blows a whistle and the referee considers the whistle interfered
with play (e.g. a player picks up the ball with his hands, assuming that play
has been stopped), the referee must stop the match and restart the play with a
dropped ball from the position of the ball when play was stopped ..."

should have been a drop ball though it wouldnt have changed the result

:lol::lol: That's great

FU Andre Dias!

I have no sympathy with those Nazio fuctards, particularly Andre Dias who absolutely deserves some shit like that.

Yet on the topic, I feel it is quite amazing that a player could get sent off (potentially, ask van Persie) for not hearing the whistle in a noisy stadium and keeping playing (even if it is just one shot, or one more kick), but in the meantime, it could cost you a game (not really so in this game, as 0-1 and 0-2 makes no difference) if you simply stop after you hear "the whistle".

It'd go into a mini-league ala La Liga, wouldn't it?

Inter have:
Udinese - H:0-1 A:1-3
Napoli - H:0-3 A:1-0
Lazio - H:2-1 A:

Lazio have:
Udinese - H:2-2 A:2-0
Inter - H: A:2-1
Napoli - H:3-1 A:0-0

Udinese have:
Lazio - H:2-0 A:2-2
Inter - H:1-3 A:0-1
Napoli - H:2-2 A:2-0

Napoli have:
Lazio - H:0-0 A:3-1
Inter - H:1-0 A:0-3
Udinese - H:2-0 A:2-2

Inter have:
6 points; GF-5/GA-7/GD_-2
Lazio have:
5 points; GF-6/GA-5/GD_1
Udinese have:
7 points; GF-8/GA-9/GD_-1
Napoli have:
11 points; GF-9/GA-5/GD_4

Napoli are top. Followed by Udinese, then Inter, and finally Lazio.

However, Inter still have to play Lazio at home, but Napoli would still finish top.

That is if a goes into a mini-league. If it doesn't, then this'll mean nothing.

That's great information. We just need to make sure that Inter don't get that top spot. Their success will cause us misery next season in CL. Mind you that we are only 12th seed and in order to get into top 8, we need some help. INter not playing in next season's CL will be one.

Andre Dias was sent off for dissent, but Marchetti was spotted shoving the referee, while Lionel Scaloni and Francelino Matuzalem also risk punishment for their actions.

Altough the goal didn't change anything, the troll actually helped Udinese... If you consider they're fighting for the CL spot, those suspensions will be blow for Lazio.

World Class trolling :lol::lol:

Ridiculous stuff.

The goal might yet have a role to play, as GD will come into the picture if teams remain tied after head-to-head. At this point, nothing's certain in this 3rd spot race.

Who would have thought at the begining of the season that Barzagli would be the best defender in the league and that he would lead Juve's defence to concede only one goal every 2 games? He has had a better season than Silva actually

Who would have thought that Pirlo would be the best midfielder of the season in the whole league when we let him go before the season started?

who could have predicted that Juventus would go unbeaten for 35 games in the season?

Wonders shall never cease

They are close to win this season, of course they'd show up. You think they'll dare to show their faces if they aren't?

Antonio Di Natale proved the difference on the night as Udinese beat injury-hit Lazio in tense circumstances to catch them, Napoli and Inter in joint third place.

This was to all intents and purposes a Champions League play-off between third and joint fourth going into the weekend. Neither side was in great form after the strain of the Europa League took its toll and had numerous injury problems.

Lazio had Antonio Candreva on a ban plus the injured Hernanes, Stefan Radu, Senad Lulic, Miroslav Klose, Marius Stankevicius, Cristian Brocchi and Stephen Makinwa. Modibo Diakite joined the list during the warm-up, making way for Javier Garrido, who sent Lionel Scaloni into defence. Udinese missed Emmanuel Badu, Mauricio Isla, Andrea Coda, Damiano Ferronetti and the suspended Antonio Floro Flores, but Maurizio Domizzi and Dusan Basta shook off injuries to start.

In the second minute Lazio rather desperately cleared from Diego Fabbrini and Kwadwo Asamoah’s penalty appeals were waved away. Federico Marchetti flew to palm away a curling Antonio Di Natale free kick, while Alejandro Gonzalez completely mistimed his volley from a Stefano Mauri cross.

Udinese had a great chance on 18 minutes when Lazio youth product Giampiero Pinzi unleashed a screamer from distance that dipped just over the bar.

Di Natale also scuffed a shot from the D when the ball took a strange bobble. Another Pinzi long-range attempt had more curl and less power, but this time Marchetti flapped it out of the far top corner.

Marchetti fumbled a cross and was fortunate no Udinese players were able to tap into the empty net. The Lazio goalkeeper palmed away a deflected Basta cross and Almen Abdi couldn’t get enough power to his shot.

Yet more bad news for Lazio, who lost Francelino Matuzalem to a knee injury and brought on Lorik Cana. Giuseppe Biava then failed to recover from a knock to his knee and Lazio were forced into a second change in the first 45 minutes. Strangely, Diakite was introduced despite the fact he had pulled out of the warm-up.

Lazio had a splendid scoring opportunity before half-time, as Abdoullay Konko sprinted down the right and crossed for Rocchi’s header, fingertipped out from under the bar by Samir Handanovic.

Just 25 seconds after the restart, Asamoah’s screamer swerved just wide. Di Natale fired a volley from the outside edge of the six-yard box, but it was over the bar as it came off his shin.

Udinese remained the more attacking side and a strange Basta strike looped inches past the far top corner of the net off the outside of his right boot. Marchetti smothered an Asamoah daisy-cutter and the Friulani finally found a breakthrough.

Di Natale peeled away from Andre Dias and came sliding in with a splendid right-foot volley from six yards on Domizzi’s cross from the left.

Lazio were now forced to come out of their defensive shell and threw on giant striker Libor Kozak, but Roberto Pereyra pulled back from the by-line for Di Natale to drill wide. Kozak knocked down a long ball for Cana to shin over the bar and Marchetti came tearing out of the box to clear from Torje colliding with the Romanian to get a knock in the ribs, but was able to continue.

Marchetti went up for a Lazio corner kick and was close to getting his head to it, but with the goalkeeper halfway up the field Udinese went on the counter-attack and Pereyra was able to deposit into an empty net.

Lazio were livid and a scuffle broke out at the final whistle, as they heard a whistle from the crowd and stopped playing. Andre Dias was particularly furious and was sent off for his protests, while play was halted for several minutes as the referee tried to restore calm amid absolutely chaotic scenes on the touchline. The final whistle did eventually go after Scaloni refused to leave the referee alone and was booked, while he then had to be dragged off the field by teammate Cristian Ledesma.

Serie A Team of Week 35

Dave Taylor picks the star men following the latest round of games in Serie A.

Bogdan Lobont [Roma]

Showed his class after the break and was absolutely stupendous as Napoli fired in shots from all quarters. Really could not be blamed for either goal, but did stop almost two certain strikes from Edinson Cavani and Gokhan Inler. Dependable.

Nicola Legrottaglie [Catania]

Thoroughly deserved his goal and never put a foot wrong. At 36 the former Juve defender shows no sign of his age. Always well-placed and made a couple of crucial blocks, especially one on Fabrizio Miccoli. Decisive.

Maurizio Domizzi [Udinese]

The 30-year-old has been one of Italy’s most consistent defenders this season. Not only did he put in the strongest of defensive shifts, it was his pin-point cross that set up the opener. Integral

Andrea Barzagli [Juventus]

You can only contain what is in front of you and the six-footer, who is playing some of his best ever football, never gave the Novara forwards the slightest of look ins. Commanding.

Emmanuele Giaccherini [Juventus]

Never stopped running and showed no mercy. It was his precise pass that set up Marco Borriello’s header. He also had a massive hand in the final goal, while almost scoring himself. Impressive.

Andrea Pirlo [Juventus]

Does he ever have a bad game? Was absolutely everywhere, set up two goals and consistently gave others several chances to score. It was his sensational free-kick that set up the opener.Imperious.

Sebastian Giovinco [Parma]

As usual unlocked the defensive doors such as they were of Lecce’s. Scored from a beautifully taken free-kick from all of 25 yards that curved in over the wall and flew past an astonished Benassi. Authorative.

Kevin Prince-Boateng [Milan]

The midfielder was again full of energy, bossing the middle and generally closing up any gaps. Had a great shot that nearly broke the crossbar and was forever causing trouble and never allowed Siena a moment’s respite. Crucial.

Mirko Vucinic [Juventus]

Led the line magnificently and started the rout with his excellent first goal. Kept menacing and was in the right place to tap in his second. Magnificent.

Antonio Cassano [Milan]

The returning hero scored the opener and made the assists for both of Ibra’s goals. Accurate and precise all match. Absolutely unstoppable, he ran the opposition ragged all game.Dominating.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic [Milan]

Worked excellently with the returning Cassano and played a massive part in his opening goal. After that it was all Ibra, as the Swede scored a supersonic second, while netting the fourth goal with the game’s last kick.Imposing.

Monday April 30 2012 Marchetti explains actions

Federico Marchetti has looked to clarify why he pushed referee Mauro Bergonzi, an action that has seen him suspended for the rest of the season.

The goalkeeper was one of a number of Lazio players and staff to surround Bergonzi and his assistants in the dying seconds of their defeat to Udinese, after a controversial second goal.

The Aquile players believed that the goal would be ruled out, after a number of them had stopped upon hearing a whistle in the crowd blow for full time that they incorrectly attributed to the referee.

In the aftermath of the match ending, the protests continued and Marchetti could be seen pushing Bergonzi, something that through Lazio’s official site he has looked to explain away.

While we were talking about the incident that led to 2-0, the referee told me to leave and that there was nothing more to say, turning his back,” stated the goalkeeper on Monday.

To get his attention I tried to call three or four times, but he did not turn around. At that point I tried to stop him, drawing his attention.

Recognising my good relationship with referees, that I have always maintained through my career, I went to the dressing room to try to clarify my position, although the referee was not willing to talk at that time, due to the agitation at the end of the game.

My conversation with Bergonzi was solely focused on the clarification of the episode in question and why he had changed his decision, validating the goal having previously said that the goal would be cancelled.”

Listen to the commentary. It's English.

I never watched this again as I was so pissed off but this is just a fucking disgrace.

Every asshole in the world saw the goal.

And Juve fuckers all raising hands and then having a counter and nearly score while Milan players were celebrating.

Fuck this. Seriously. This is worse than everything that happend in barca games.

We needed Rino in this game.

Assholes were getting it in the ass from us while we didn't have Prince-Ibra-cassano.

They are the second best team in Italy. That's a fact. When on fire, They are nothing against us.

Parma for Europe…Why not?
By Football Italia staff

Tommaso Ghirardi believes his Parma team can dream of qualifying for European football this season for the form they are currently enjoying.

Beyond Juventus, the Gialloblu are the most in-form team in Serie A with five wins from the last six played.

Having secured League safety for another term, the club has their President enjoying the moment.

“We are doing well in the League and the important thing is to always improve,” Ghirardi enthused to reporters on Monday.

“We have managed to maintain a good margin over the relegation zone and in the last four rounds we have been in good physical shape and this has allowed us to move behind the big teams and for us this is a source of pride.”

Ghirardi reflected on the competitiveness of the team as being important, in consideration both to the weekend’s win at Lecce and the attitude being taken into the midweek clash with Inter.

“In a game where we were thought to have little focus because we are already safe, I am proud of my team and their sportsmanship and professionalism shown at Lecce.

“The Coach wants to take us as high as possible and we are charged, even for Inter. It’s a very delicate game, it will be important to train well, we’re playing a lot during this period, but this will be a sell-out, there is great enthusiasm and it is not wrong to dream.

“In the case that we win, we could reach the European places and why not dream of this for the happy moment that we are currently living in?”

Beyond the outside hope of playing European football next season, Ghirardi confirmed his intention to start a long-term project at the club, with Roberto Donadoni continuing as Coach, and maybe Sebastian Giovinco in attack.

“We have half the player’s contract, so I would say 50-50 possibility. With Juve we have excellent relations, at the end of the season we will meet amicably and will talk to what the ideas are.

“Parma had the merit of believing in him, to invest in him, to give him space, and you also have to credit Juve who had the power to sell him but risked only selling half and now have the certainty of owning half a major player.

I really doubt it. Juventus havne't conceded 4 goals in last 8 rounds, when they played Napoli, Inter, Fiorentina, Lazio? I don't think Lecce will score 4 goals, the best they can get is a 1-1 or 0-0 draw.

A draw would be fine, draw or loss makes no difference, they have to slip up twice anyway while we must keep on winning.
