If we're going to sell him, City interest is a blessing. They would pay straight money and in a few days.

I cant c how Milan can hold on to TS if city actually match that offer. I love silva but for 50 one can get almost a completely new midfield, and a good one at that.

I like Silva, very good centre half, but he'll never replace the legendary Nesta.

The Italian was on another level, but to be fair to Silva, no defender of the last decade was as good as Nesta.

With all the love i have for Nesta in my heart, but no one was or gonna be better than Maldini. I dont have to even explain anything, but you can start by comparing achievements. And the most that Nesta Won was when he had Maldini at his side.

On subject, i rather sell robhino+ducky to get close to 40M, instead of selling the best def in the world. We have good attack, and we can buy another with the money, plus getting one world class mid.

Selling Silva would be the biggest mistake, he could be even worth more after the end of next season, and there is a risk for Ibra leaving if T.S leaves. In that case, we can all pack our bags.

Hello. I'm a brazillian and totally fanatic, crazy for Fluminense.

Thiago Silva is a fantastic player. He is the best!! If he plays in Milan what he played in Brasil he wiil be considerate the best defender in the world, I have no doubt about it. He is the best brazillian defender, better that Lúcio and Juan.

Yep. They could receive an offer of 60m+ and then buy who? Who was bought after Kaka or Sheva's departures... nobody of worth the only major signing since then really was Ibrahimovic. WHoever is brought in will not be of the standard of Silva since he is the best in the world, and any midfielders bought won't be good enough to help the team avoid having to defend so much that there's no requirement for such a player. His versatility and talent is too high, I can't think of any player I'd swap him for.

If Nesta hadn't have come to Milan, we wouldn't have won the 2003 or 2007 champions league. Maldini needed Nesta, just as much Nesta needed Maldini.
