Send the fodder packing, but no thanks to that swap with Inter.Fodder for fodder is not a good deal.

The agent of Antonio Nocerino admits he's frustrated at AC Milan.

The defensive utility has struggled for action this season.

“Nocerino is not happy with how the campaign has gone and it would be useless to pretend otherwise,” Marco Sommella told Radio CRC on Friday.

“He was a protagonist last season, scoring a number of goals, and he didn’t expect to be placed to one side.”

I heard rumor of an exchange between Nocerino and Matías Silvestre. I really hope it's just a rumor from some drunk blogger.

Can anyone think of any sane reason for Nocerino to start ahead of Muntari?

He even seems to have lost the one aspect of his game that could've been considered above average - his positioning.

Truly useless now.

Attacking positiong, potentially.

Any other type of positioning, nope. He's like permanently 3 seconds behind the ball.

Fucking useless. Completely at fault for the 2nd Catania goal.

Cost us 3 points against Juve. Nearly cost us 3 points today.
Beyond useless, he is actually fucking us over in key matches.

Send him to Napoli for free. If Allegri gives plays him in another match, he deserves to be sacked just for that.

Can anyone think of any sane reason for Nocerino to start ahead of Muntari?

I think Allegri's idea may have been to play Nocerino so that he can make those runs off the ball into the box to open up space by dragging away an opposition midfielder and adding another player to link up with El Shaarawy higher up.

When Muntari plays, he plays a much more reserved role and plays much closer to Montolivo and it is one less player for El Shaarawy to combine with higher up. We know that El Shaarawy's best attribute is probably his shooting and he has the intelligence to pass and move himself into position to get his shots off if there is space. Muntari does not open up any space whatsoever for El and that is where his somewhat predictable dribbling becomes a slight problem as he is doing something he isn't quite comfortable/confident enough doing as yet.

Look at what Allegri has Boateng doing when he plays in the front 3. Boateng runs all the way across the field to the channel between opposition right back and centerback and lays off back passes to El Shaarawy who makes an off the ball diagonal run towards goal to get himself into a shooting position or some space to combine with Balo.

Misplaced most of his passes and deserves some blame for the second goal conceded. We should definitely bench him and play Muntari from now on.

Some blame? He fucked up a simple pass (like most of his passes in the match), let his player get past him easily and create a goal scoring counter attack when our defense was out of position.

Everybody says that he played 45 good minutes, but dropped in form in the second half. Nobody mentions that he has been playing very rarely recently. Strangely that's the first argument that one hears whenever there are complaints about how Robinho or Bojan play.

He had a little blame on the second goal ...BUT there were 4 Catania players Vs. 6 Milan players and Nocerino even dropped to De Sciglio's position to cover that flank. If you see the replays, you'll see that Abate is
-a- not marking properly his man
-b- is not in line with the rest of the defense
-c- as a result gets beaten by a through ball

All this without even counting that right before the final pass there was the challenge from Mexes (our center defender) who went to get the ball but got dribbled easily and left the defense open.

Conclusion, Nocerino was at fault for losing a ball in the opposite midfield, when it came to the goal, the issue was mostly with Mexes who went to challenge and got dribbled and left a hole in defense and with Abate who didn't cover his man/side properly

He's not adapted for a 4-3-3 formation... if this will be our formation next year, than we should sell him since there are better players than him out there

, sell noce? allegri says no

Haha, dude ... if Allegri was that much in love with Nocerino, he would have played a lot more than what he has ... and most of those games were in the first half of the season when Allegri was trying to find the position of each player and what formation to use ;)
On other news, last season Nocerino was arguably our best midfielder (close call between him and Van Bommel) which to me means that I'd be hesitant to sell him for a partial of his full value before we decide on the formation next year.

I mean let's be frank, this year we had a lot of unknowns and we basically had to improvise attack in the first games and we started figuring things as we moved forward. Once we found something that worked for most of the players we sticked with it with small polishing every now and then. Next year, most of the first team will be the same with 2-3 changes at most. So if Allegri will still be coach, he will have plenty of time to find exactly whom he needs and where to put the players.
