Everybody says that he played 45 good minutes, but dropped in form in the second half. Nobody mentions that he has been playing very rarely recently. Strangely that's the first argument that one hears whenever there are complaints about how Robinho or Bojan play.
He had a little blame on the second goal ...BUT there were 4 Catania players Vs. 6 Milan players and Nocerino even dropped to De Sciglio's position to cover that flank. If you see the replays, you'll see that Abate is
-a- not marking properly his man
-b- is not in line with the rest of the defense
-c- as a result gets beaten by a through ball
All this without even counting that right before the final pass there was the challenge from Mexes (our center defender) who went to get the ball but got dribbled easily and left the defense open.
Conclusion, Nocerino was at fault for losing a ball in the opposite midfield, when it came to the goal, the issue was mostly with Mexes who went to challenge and got dribbled and left a hole in defense and with Abate who didn't cover his man/side properly
