Clarence is in some seriously good shape...

Yes, his abs really helped Milan the past three seasons. Or did he just build them now?

Jealous. Just give him credit where its due. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be in that shape.

Unlike you I don't rate players according to their appearance and salary. In fact I don't give a damn about it. I only care for the performance. A good shape is a shape in which you play well, something that Seedorf fails to do for three years, not the look of your abs. And before you bring up Ronaldinho, he played three games this season, one good and two bad, one of which he couldn't do anything because the team was hampered by the player down.

And dru, youre pointing out the obvious man. :D

an excellence performance for a 33 years old midfielder...probably he wanted to regain respect after the derby.

I do not have an agenda of backing up a certain group of players at Milan. Of course, I do consider what players have done for the club before, but in general, it is only their performances on the pitch that have a lasting impression. I generally agree that both Clarence and Pirlo are past their sell date, but like Dinho, if they can turn it around, can still be amongst the best.

I mentioned before that it isn't written in stone that Dinho would be the better player for Milan when compared to Clarence. For Milan, which is a concept that you don't seem to grasp. Dinho can't seem to do anything wrong, in your eyes, while Clarence can't seem to do anything right.

Give him credit where its due. Not the best performance, but certainly much better than the last two Dinho had. Oh, and as far as I can remember, less than 3 years, Clarence was crucial in us winning a UCL. While Dinho ... what was he doing exactly? I'm sure you would know.

He enters the field today like a big star, than he play like a big star.
Very bad game.

Instead of arm the team.. he goes into the box waiting for god knows what.

Seedorf has always swayed between very good & crap & Milan have no one better.

AC Milan Must Trust Leonardo To Solve Attacking Problems - Clarence Seedorf
The Dutch midfielder has tried to analyse where the Rossoneri are going wrong...

While he has resisted pinning the blame on the failings of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar or Alexandre Pato personally, Clarence Seedorf believes Milan's current problems are largely down to the strikers.

"For me, the part that isn't working at Milan is the attack," Seedorf told Sky Italia.

"We have to do better. One fundamental thing, especially at a time like this, is to give full support to our coach - for there to be nothing between him and the squad.

"This is crucial if we want to be calm and get results this year. Blind faith in the coach, starting with myself, [is necessary] to improve my performance. If I improve myself, anyone else in the squad can certainly do the same."

Although the attack may not be functioning to the best of its abilities, Seedorf is happy with how the defence is performing.

"I believe that the defence is doing pretty well. But we are producing too little going forward. I take responsibility for this, as I am one of the players who must give everything in this aspect.

"Against Roma, I want to find an even more determined Seedorf and, I hope, an even more determined Milan."

Blind faith in Leo kind of annuls, to some degree, the wealth of experience the squad has. They should discuss together with Leo, given their obvious knowledge of the game + find a solution that is best for Milan. It exists ... they just haven't found it, and hence, the team is under performing.

MILANELLO - Here are the declarations made by Clarence Seedorf, exclusively to Milan Channel, at the end of the morning training session done today by the team at Milanello:

Clarence, it was said that yesterday's result was very important for the standings.
"Yes, we needed that. I'm very happy, because the team deserves it. We fought until the end, we also had some confusion after the opening three minutes, it wasn't good to start a game like this, but we stayed close together. Roma missed a few important chances in the first half, but then in the second half, we improved things and saw a good Milan."

This team showed both in Bergamo and last night against Roma that it's able to react, to have character and play until the end.
"We also have to take the positive things. We know what didn't go well, but yesterday we managed to score two goals, which had only happened before in the first matchday. These are also important things: getting there and being dangerous. We managed to do what we had planned during the week. I'm also happy for Ronaldinho and Pato who scored and the team earned three very important points also for the morale."

Yesterday, after a long time, Dida returned on the pitch.
"Yes, yesterday he made some important saves. There was also a good return by Nelson, but I'd say that everyone in this team who is called upon is giving positive answers."

Yesterday at San Siro there was a banner for you.
"I want to clear up the discussion on the banner that was placed. Honestly I didn't see it, but I was told what it said. It's too bad because I think these banners are of little importance for Milan's moment, but it's of a person with whom I had an argument before the match against Atalanta because that Milan fan insulted me strongly, repeatedly during the warm-up of the match in Bergamo, and I told him to go home during a break of the training.
For me it's not a Milan fan, because a Milan fan would not insult his own players, especially in the warm-up. This person is certainly the one who put up the banner because for the rest I have no problems with any fans. I think there has always been a relationship with love, of course there can be discussions but if there were no love involved that wouldn't even happen. After there were whistles at times, I was also applauded many teams and for many years.
Also yesterday they applauded me in certain moments of the match and I don't think it's a widespread thing. This person did not have the courage to come here to Milanello to face the situation 'man to man' and put up a banner involving many people who had nothing to do with it. I wanted to clear this up and say 'Forza Milan.' In the next home match, we'll have even more fun."

Wednesday we'll go to Madrid, in a match full of stimulations and in a great ambience because two great teams face each other.
"These are the games everyone wants to play, and participate in. With this victory against Roma we'll have the right morale to face a strong Real Madrid both in the Liga and in our Champions League group. This gives us a lot of motivation which we have direct well in our minds, our hearts and our legs to try to get what we can."

What is written on the banner?

''Arrogant cdork, show respect for the people who buy tickets to see you walk on the pitch''

Should make one of these for pirlo.

I dunno, it feels like even though he played like shait, seedorf still made our MF more creative considering how bad we usually play with 2DMs + p€€rlo. Dont know what was leo thinking pushing him 2 the wing since he really cant run. He still has decent ball control and can, unlike p€€rlo, ''losse'' his marker for a short period of time, right enough for the team to move further upfront.

He has the most heat out of all the players. He the first one they usually boo. Personally, I think the fans are just feed up with how poor his been for seasons now.

R u out of ur fucking mind ?!!!!!!!!
Pirlo , who is Italian ;) , is better than Xavi + Milan's biggest champion + the best playmaker/free tacker/passer/u name it.

On a serious note , Seedorf > Pirlo.
Am not a fan of both but I would take Seedorf over Pirlo any day of the week.
True he most of the time play like shit but @ least u can always squeeze 5-6 world class game from him while its total shit when we r talkin about the midget.

I would cheer those banners as soon as they act equal & Pirlo is by no mean better than Seedorf.

Haha yeah, pirlo is better tha xavi + fab combined and ambro is better than lass, xabi, flams, essien............criticizing these players is pure blasphemy these days:o

If pirlo did indeed run his ass off and thats the best he can do than pretty much seals the fact that he aint good enough for this team anymore. He didnt do shit for the team the whole game.

And he did get booed everytime he send the ball flying out of ss with his genious free kicks/passes. He didnt get booed during the game since he never really did shit with the ball.

Seedorf at least delivered bigtime vs marseile where pirlo was once again a clusterfuck

he's no so much slow as lacking accelaration. He runs at a 'consistent pace' lol

a bit like Berbatov, no acceleration, just consistent speed (though Pirlo probably has slightly less of this speed)

You've said it already? Pirlo is an Italian, national hero (wins WC for Italy), he still plays well for the Azzuri, can you somehow believe people in San Siro booing him???? a simple answer..San Siro is in Italy
maybe if Milan has Amsterdan Arena as their home ground:D that could happen

Seedorf was MOTM for me tonight. Class performance, bar a couple of mistakes, was doing everything right and was everywhere. Was dwelling on the ball for too long at times though, thats a regular problem with him. fucking turn it on like this for ordinary games Clarence!
