seriously blaming a person for a whole team fiasco... is a bit out of line..
it's a team game, anyone who plays the game would really hate that kind of judgment
There's some really good pro and against Pirlo arguments in the this past 10 pages, what I find interesting is that the best "against" Pirlo or his position posts come from either people that aren't fan boys or "haterz" and from the "fan boys" themselves.
NO Pirlo = No Italy !
Either him or Tsar ... either way, a pretty pathetic person. Is it actually Farouk?

Deportivo = peeeerrrlaaa's fuck up. I mean, if he hadn't scored that fourth goal, the team probably would've been less complacent than they were, going into the second leg
Its pretty damn obvious
Here ... watch him ruin Milan with this fuck up!
* thread

First goal: Pirlo standing there just like in Ashish's signature, not applying any pressure while he is close to the opponent and he is about to score, but who cares?! He's Il Maestro... His position is a DM but he isn't supposed to defend!
Then Depor waste two clear chances, while our whole team is defending for their lives EXCEPT il grande maestro who is jogging around, standing out of the penalty area doing absolute fuck all.
In the second half there is a golden chance gifted to Depor since Il Maestro was "orchestrating" in front of the penalty area and lost the ball under pressure.
He was then subbed after causing enough damage.![]()
2 of the biggest failures in ancelottis footballing career and the man consecrating was pirloNow, the Istanbul disaster is a complicated situation. It was a freakish incident that happens once in a million, and a lot of factors contributed, like the whole team relaxing, Liverpool's fighting spirit, luck, Gerrard's dive, Dida's howlers, etc...
AND the genuis of the Maestro(I'm NOT, by all means, blaming him ONLY, but yeah he was a reason). Our midfield was generally lightweight, and because Liverpool were pressuring us, and our DM doesn't defend (he's too busy orchestrating
) they were able to grab three goals in six minutes.
First goal: Pirlo was standing, could have jumped to stop the ball, but didn't. (for the member who was saying he doesn't need to have good jumping ability).
Second goal: It was a shot from a distance. Who should pressure? The DM! But Pirlo is not any DM, you see, he is the "deep lying playmaker", all he has to do is to "orchestrate". You can actually see Seedorf running his ass off pressing on Smicer, while Pirlo is just jogging as usual.
Third goal: Gerrard's fucking dive. Who was following him? The king Rino Gattuso who was giving his all. Unlike a certain Pirlo who was too busy to give a fuck. Just jogging by himself outside of the penalty area.

No team has successfully defended their CL title so we were bound to lose

This board gets legendary every day. LMFAO at the Pirlo is the reason behind the Deportivo and Liverpool debacle.
... only for him to monumentally fuck up

Yeah,
I wonder what else can we blame Pirlo for? Global warming, credit crunch?

The oil spill in the gulf...damn you Pirlo!
Plus, my broken nail!
that's just pathetic FieroYou are so much better than that.

The hair thing is just a light comment, it's as if I took seriously Farouk's and Wet Ones posts saying that one of the reasons that makes Mourinho a great coach and person is the fact that he cried 3 times. Or taking seriously Farouk's 2 posts on why Pirlo is the cause of the debacles at La Coruña and Istanbul.
Either him or Tsar ... either way, a pretty pathetic person.
First of all the Deportivo defeat was not Pirlo's fault. Do you know who's fault it was?

Therefore, the box-to-box CM almost everyone's been talking of should be good in the air ... with Ambro and Gattuso providing depth. But first thing is first ... Flamini has to win his starting place ahead of Ambro ...
I know, thanks man. It's just that I get so pissed by people overrating Pirlo.
Pirlo is the reason why I'm jobless, too much time thinking in his wonderful hair, no one wants to hire me for that.I'm going to have to work this season. FU Pirlo!
Love Flamini, but you got to admit. He could do with a bit of calm and composure; something Pirlo has truckloads of
Flamini + Pirlo for next season sounds good to me. Only problem is, neither are strong in the air. Yes, if Pirlo's a midget, so is FlaminiTherefore, the box-to-box CM almost everyone's been talking of should be good in the air ... with Ambro and Gattuso providing depth. Flamini is a headless chicken compared to Ambrosini.
yeah i agree flamini has to improve a lot cause ambro is no where a top dm and he dives a lot. flamini is playing really bad these days
truthfully, i'm kinda ready to give up on flamini. I like the guy alot but 2 years and he can't assert himself. Perhaps he's just a premier league player. It's not a knock by any means but maybe we are better suited selling him for 15 mil euros (which he'd probably command) and using that money to get 2 midfielders.
Guys like Gojko Kacar, Jucilei, and other highly promising defensive midfielder are available under 8 mil.
Flamini never got any chance to play consistantly too and that's one thing i disaprove of Leo.
Normally it takes 1 year for someone to get used to a league. Carlo's season he was pretty decent and even good many times in spite of playing as RB.
But last year he rarely got a proper run of 3 games. Gattuso over him an entire half season was criminal.
And finally we were playing with Ambro Pirlo Dorf mid with him subbed in last 30 mts etc most of the time and wen somethn like this happens the confidence takes a huge hit. For defenders and defensive mids u need consistant game time to get settled.
Antonini wen he was getting scarce minutes looked bad, but wen he started getting regular minutes his game performance increased drastically. I expect the same with Flamini.
Read yesterday that Allegri wants to keep Flamini. If that's the case I expect more time for him and I expect him to do well.
that menas he will be given more playing time ahead of ambro and gattuso. thats the way you should go veterans should be rested for important games and young ones/ prime ones should be blooded day in and day out.See that's my problem. People here tend to understand the meaning of being a "fan" wrong, at least in my perspective. I mean, am I supposed to be so biased in favor of my team, its players, coaches and ex-coaches, while I be biased against all the players and coaches of other teams?
I definitely don't hate Pirlo, but I care about Milan and I see him as a weak link, so no matter what he gave us he can't be bigger than Milan, therefore he can't be bash-proof. Has nothing to do with hating or being "groupies" or "fanboys", no need for extreme words... afterall we're all Milan fans here. It's a discussion board so we're not bound to all have the same opinion, and what pushes the people who criticize Pirlo over the edge is the way the pro-Pirlo people just blindly praise him for a goal scored or a good free kick and ignore anything else basically since he is "Il Maestro" or he won tournament for us or anything, so he should not be condemned. In my opinion, people who live in past glory shouldn't be complaining about us not signing new players, and therefore not winning anything.
Is that being a Milan fan?
etc, etc.
