I remember last summer and things looked very bad but we still managed to snatch CL, this season without deduction points I think that we can be in front of inter. Just bring one fast striker (cassano will be perfect) and quality defender (cris, alex...), and maybe one midfielder. Even without big signings milan is the best in Europe, because it takes grit, determination and heart to win important matches and there is no better club in the world in these situations than MILAN!!!

What an accomplishment; you must feel so proud.

It's not as much what I think will happen as I hope, I suppose. There are few better ways for Paolo to go out; he really deserves no less than another title.

Some unexpected time off from my entrances has increased my fervor for Milan

I think it's gonna be another tough season. We will probably have a few like this, until it gets better. Kaka' will maybe leave us in this period, but we will depend aloton gourcuff. i strongly get the feeling that after this CL victory it is the end of a cycle, just like it should have been after the 03 final, but we stuck with out team and something did happen. I'm not sure this team that has been at the top for almost 2 decades will continue to get better seeing our average age. There will be a slow decline and then we will rise again..

that's my prediction. it was the same last summer, but miracles do happen.

so we win the champions league and all of a sudden our early and mid season problems just vanish...even with ronaldo and oddo, what if they get injured..it's the same squad as we had before january. We need to rebuild.

Thanks, Tay I think we'll be consistent next year too, as will be Inter. It'd probably take a miracle for Juve to challenge for the league, but Roma may spring a surprise. Those guys know their limits and seem to know how to play well within it. And Carletto's assertions that the CL, yet again, will be the primary objective for next season certainly don't inspire confidence
It's about time we won a Scudetto.

I belive that we have a really good chance of wining it in the next season...I mean look at us this year we had a lot of problems,minus points and everything and we managed to win the CL an come 4 in the Scudetto...after we bring a few reinforcments we will definitly be one of the clubs with a real chance...although I belive that Inter,Juventus and Roma won`t let us do that so easily

But Juve continously bought new players..curently,they have bought 7 or 8 players...Juve will be stronger...and safer then previous season(s)...however,never says never...

I believe he was asking about Platini's vision of CL future. This hasn't gone through yet and the news are dead about it after the elections.

Another point was that FIGC wanted to give the fourth Italian CL spot to Coppa Italia winners. The proposed time was 2008-2009 but I don't remember if it was the season it starts or the season in which Coppa winners enter CL.
