9 goals in Serie A so far what a great return for someone who cost 500K.

I root for him but I'm always nervous when he's on the ball as he's so limited technically, any time he completes a basic pass or is able to control a pass properly I feel so relieved for him lol. He certainly isn't one of those players that drives the team forward but he's adequate. Against the top sides in Europe however, we need better if we have any hope for success. He's a good squad player who will give his all for the team and it's great to have him.

Nocerino, one of the most underrated midfielders ever

Yet he manages to totally explode under Allegri's tactics and he's now a goalscoring machine :star::star:

Hope Noce gets 15 goals in Serie A this season :proud:

Our offensive scheme of playing a high pass into the box, knocking it to open space and having a clear shot on goal is a huge benefit to nocegoal.

The prince goal vs barca the two goals today and probably a few others this season is an indicator that noce will find the back of the net a lot more in the future.

when Ibra has his back to the goal in the hopes of heading a long pass to an open man takes instince for the man who takes the shot. I know it's a beating a dead horse but that's why even a fit pato isn't going to click with Ibra. It's not about noce's pace- it's his Positioning and instinct. Pato lost that somewhere this season.

very good point!

He knows where to be when the play is developing, to maxmize the goal threat.

I agree that Nocerino don't have any skills, he can't pass, dribble, no technique, can't tackle, can't phyically dominate the opponent.

BUT, the man has been a) our replacement for Inzaghi this year b) has made the job much easier for MvB and other defenders by being between ball and the goal, yes he can't stop the ball from going forward or make assists, but he scores when other trikes are busy creating and also puts the pressure off of defenders with his stamina, something our team lacked with a shitload of old midfielders in past.

and don't ever forget the workrate and determination and motivation that this guy has. Marchisio was named Italian player of the year, but he misses the same chances that Nocerino has scored and in second half of the season has been invisible, but Nocerino tries hard to score, really wants the team to success and doesn't choke at all, even if he makes mistakes now and then.

People tend to forget easily, but without Nocerino this season we would go trough a lot of shit. I hope he stays here as motivated as he is this season, because that's what Milan needs.

Any hi-res pics of him vs Lecce? The ones that were floating around on Sunday have all disappeared.
