any coach that enters and rearranges everything from day one will cause anarchy and unrest. Allegri has transitioned slow enough for it all to be accepted without any major drama and still maintain us at a position to be at the top of the table, and alive in the UCL.

Great post :star:

Btw I want Amelia playing, but to be fair fans exaggerating about last night goals. Abbiati was unsighted when Bacinovic take a shoot.

yeah cause he was looking for hot girls in the stands the shot came from 25 m and was not that a great of a shot or even that powerfull a decent keeper would have managed to save it

along withe the Catania goal its the second time he is beaten like this.

I can understand the situation, he was marked and couldn't see shit but he could'v at least try to save it.
The Pedro Leon goal was a story for itself..
Anonimous players are making CV material on his back.

bonus.. i noticed Dida on the stands last night.... yea, i would still take him, dough old and out of shape i still feel safer with him.

The worst part about it was that he had a clear sight line to the ball. At first I thought he was screened by the traffic in the box. But Thiago Silva actually did a great job of blocking the angle to the far post. Goalkeeper's responsibility to have that near post covered, and Abbiati just stayed rooted to the spot. WHY?? Because his weight was shifted to his left foot??? Pathetic.

Well its not the first time that he was roted,, third time now only this season that he did not even attempt to save the ball!!

I cant understand why Allegri still play him????

Give Amelia some playing time

Very solid keeper, glad to have him at Milan, can start definitely, but it's time to give Amelia his chance. As far as I'm concerned, Amelia has everything to be one of the best in the world, but we'll never know if he can produce if he never gets played... the few games he has played he's been great, btw.

its time for amelia to get his chances..abbi. has let some easy, very savable goals in over the past couple weeks..as i said, its almost like his thinking about who he is going to bang after the match, during the match..

What a game, insane. Just when I thought he was going into a poor slump of form.

and how Abbiati got such a bashing the last couple of months by most of you in here is a joke.. calling for him to be dropped.. totally undeserved criticism, so i hope after last night people will wake up and see we have an excellent safe keeper

Abbi did well in the derby and I was hoping to see him doing better again and that performance yesterday was a proof that he still is great. Abbi made some awesome saves and def. helped us to beat Fiore. :star:

he made some quality saves against fior. but i am still not convinced that he can do what he did yesterday day in and day out..he needs to be more consistent for us in the goal, or else amelia is waiting to take over..

this is so tough for me... I really want to see Amelia get some shots here since I think he can be our keeper for a long time, but Abs has consistently been playing great and you can't just bench him after the recent games he's had, so... I guess its a good thing in the end with 2 solid #1 keepers, but I just hope we give Amelia a chance to see if we should buy him or not at season's end.

Not consistently, but at this moment you can't bench Abbiati. He played very well lately. Before that he had his weak moments, so that was a time Amelia could have been considered.

We must stay with the hot hands. But a better keeper would make the difference in tougher matches

duno how noone has copped on but i put our draw tonight down to Abbiati, he didnt deal with the simpliest of backpasses and hit a shit clearence which resulted in Nesta puttin it out for a corner and then bang goal. if abbiati had have kicked it 60 yards down the middle like he should have done then we wud be 3 points tonight. pity

We tend to remember and appreciate Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Boateng, Flamini etc for having and being in good form.

BUT IMHO Abbiati's current form is as much important as each of them form.

His save tonight just after we scored the first goal was very crucial that put us on the brink of the river to score other goals.

+ Lets not forget his other great and important saves lately.

He's having a key role for our success at the moment.
