Do people here actually think that Seedorf will still be a regular in the team 2 seasons from now ? I think a Rui Costa will happen to him and his starting place WILL be taken by Gourcuff. He will serve a good substitute though imo.

@ BMW: Let me rephrase it. IF I were a coach + was given a restriction on the number of non-EU players, I certainly wouldn't have a non-EU keeper since there's a lot of GK-talent within the EU. Most of the best keepers (now and in the past) have been from Europe. I'd certainly opt for a Brazilian attacker rather than a Brazilian keeper, although Dida could be an exception

don't worry too much... in due time... Seedorf will pull off a "Rui Costa" and ask the club to cancel his contract so he could return back to Ajax... just be hopeful that we can get Sneijder in exchange...

yea,.. but u should also know that milan could very well be trying to free up non-eu space,.. which has become so crucial in serie a as serie a clubs can only sign 1 non-eu player per season,.. unlike other leagues

It's great the way Milan shows it's loyalty to it's players. It's what makes us a unique club.
Seedorf has been in fine form of late and this should give him the desire to continue his performances and lead by example, cos he knows, he himself, that he is going to be a role model to younger players coming up through the ranks and into the team from rival clubs.

Seedorf contract would be worse than Pippo's because Seedorf plays more often than Pippo. We enjoy signing contracts with players and leave them on the bench, so that's fine, as long as a not good player sits on the bench, we assume that he doesn't cause any trouble. However, a player who plays very often and doesn't do well... another story.
