I don't care if he doesn't play in Serie A, but he should ALWAYS START CL GAMES and Pippo ahead of Hunt if Borri is not fit !! Remember Seedorf-Pippo combo against Bayern in a must win game 3 years ago? Seedorf-Pippo combo at Marseille? Forza Seedorf !

the urgency in which he played at during the game was brilliant, just wish he could play like that for the whole 90 mins in the game at OT

+1. Though for the sake of my life can't comprehend how he can be so indifferent against smaller sides when its obvious he can perform.

as you already know he is the only player in the world that has won 4 CL with 3 different clubs (ajax, real, milan, no inter CL trophy lolz) so you can imagine he has problems with motivation against so called small sides. same goes for ronnie who has won everything that could be won. yes, he scored hattrick against 'small' siena but than again he has shown he is also big game player. on the other hand you have ibra who often chokes at this big games.

the many moods of Seedorf:
:)- Saving the world
:D- At suggestions that he's too slow and old
 - "Wow Ronaldinho's new girl is pretty hot (continued below)"
:o - "Banged her already"
 - "You mean I can't backpass on the counter anymore?"
 - "That's right bitchez they don't call me #10 for nutthin ;) "
 - vs any team in Serie A not named Inter or Juve
:rocketwh: -Champions League Mode
:head: - After reading Wild's posts
:conf: - Who is this MassterMark guy? Why does he want to replace me with this 15 year old kid?
:naughty: - Spending some quality time with ronaldo's wife
:proud: - Grande Don Berlusconi. Thanks for the contract extension boss.
 - Er ...Mr Berlusconi....will the Milan Lab replace my dentures?

Very disappointing.

Criticising or even questioning Seedorf's choice of pass should be a banning offence. The man never picks the wrong pass.

True. Even his passes to the opposition have a hidden motive.

It's so hidden that anyone who needs to resort to the lowest form of wit (which I highly doubt that Seedorf appreciates) will never understand it.:o

Seedorf lover :o

As much as his "big matches only" mentality can piss me off, I have a weakness for midfielders like Seedorf - guys who have the intelligence and versatility to play a variety of different roles across the midfield. There are too many ridiculously specialised midfielders around at the moment who shit themselves if they have to play on a different side of the centre circle. :head:

It is exactly this that makes me not appreciate him as much as I should. He exudes this feeling of being bigger than the club.

I'd rather have someone like Seedorf who gives us memorable wins against top sides than players who shine against little teams but does nothing big against the hyped big games and make us double dissapointed.

4 CLs with 3 diff teams. He was in Real Madrid's team of the century. I'm sure if Ajax make one he'll be there in that too.

The only reason I did not want him in the last game to start was his fitness. Him at 33 wen fully motivated is still awesome. Clarence will retire will shame and come and beat many of u up personally if he actually see the names of the newbies whom at thier prime will not be as good as Seedorf 7 years from now just cos they r young.

Seedorf = :star:champion:star:

I'd rather have someone who gives a fuck every single game rather than give a fuck when he fucking feels like it.

The reason Clarence can't do it every game now is cos of his age. Give him enough rest and he will be awesome. He can't play 50 games a season anymore. Same goes with many of our senators here. But to be honest Seedorf at his prime is better than any young mid u guys jizz about in this forum.

No offense but how long have you been watching football?

Seedorf has ALWAYS been this way. Why do you think clubs were so willing to let go of him? He was sold by Real at the ripe age of 23 and given to us by Inter when he was just 26! Fortunately for him, Milan have a very high tolerance level.

yeah wet ones is right, seedorf is hardly a consistent player, but he is someone who usually shines in big games.

+1. Though for the sake of my life can't comprehend how he can be so indifferent against smaller sides when its obvious he can perform.

again i dunno how much of it is indifference as it is he's more suited for Europe where generally better teams will come out and play a bit more....

seedorf is a smart player, but he can also be pretty cautious and slow. Against alot of smaller sides in italy, he just wont make forward passes.

The only reason I'm willing to say this is both carlo and leo rave about his work ethic. and lets be fair, it shows cause at nearly 34 he still plays at a high level

that being said though, he does get a surge of energy to whatever u wanna call it in big games which take him to the next level. Maybe it's a level of concentration he lacks v. smaller sides, which i guess is ur original point

like we discussed before, i can't think of a young player who is similar to seedorf in that regard. Maybe schweinstagger @ bayern but his style is different. Just the fact he plays CM, DM, AM and wing

I also hate it that he just shows up in certain games, and truth be told that has always driven me nuts about Seedorf, cause fuck it, he had (has) everything to be the best player in the world and even today at 34 he shows that, exactly for what Calum said.

But now that he is at the end of his career, I've become way more tolerant with his display, because for his age (yes I know his been like that always) I really don't expect more.

+1..he deff. can show up in BIG matches, and has tendencies to disappear with the quickness in regular league play..it drives me crazy too my friend..he has the ability and quality to do it, but not very consistent week in and week out..But, a BEAUTIFUL goal against ManU this past week..:)
