By the way, Helena is talking to Muntari's wife(?) in this photo.
So now that Zlatan and his family has decided they won't be moving back to Sweden once he finishes his playing career, do you this they'll settle down in Milan permanently? Will Zlatan and Gattuso be coaching Milan primavera together in the future?![]()
I remember reading an interview with Helena that Fredrik posted where she said she can't wait for Zlatan to end his playing career so that she can go back to her own career, but if they won't move back to Sweden anyway there's no reason she can't build her career in Italia starting now which I guess will put less pressure on him to retire before he feels ready for it.
Will these two little guys who now goes to school with Nesta's kid all be playing for Milan together in the future?

They became friends in some dark creepy place a few years back I've heard.By the way, Helena is talking to Muntari's wife(?) in this photo.
The kids? They will play for AIK.
The kid on the right already has that arrogant look on his faceI love it!

Well, the news was mainly about selling the house in Malmö, and that I can really understand. The house has been in the news a hundred times since they bought it. Even people not interested in Zlatan or football knows where he lives. You could ask how this came about since media usually respect some privacy at least for where celebreties live… strange. And this in a small city like Malmö. I can't see how they could have lived there.
As for staying abroad… Milan? You've seen the paparazzi pics. They can't even go shopping without gathering a crowd and creating headlines. Who knows. I think they said "stay abroad" only to smoothen things over with the sale of the house and not offend people in Malmö by saying… "Stockholm". Because that's my bet. I know they've been looking at several apartments. As recently as 2-3 months ago (this I heard from a real estate friend). They also have the summer house on Resarö (30 min from town).

He's a wise man. And Helena is probably even wiser. I'm sure there are plans, but this is a few years away, and who knows what will happen until then. I doubt he'll go into coaching though. Maybe more club development, or a wider view, like with the Zlatan camp for kids.Zlatan and Helena have already said several times that they would most likely move to Stockholm because they would get more privacy there, but this is the first time I know of that they've said they won't be moving home, so I don't know, maybe it's a recent decision? It wouldn't have to be permanently anyway, but if Zlatan wanted to go into coaching he'd be better off starting out in Italy. I don't think he knows what he wants to do when he stops playing yet, but he's thinking about it and talking about it.
Yeah, but the things they have been looking at in Stockholm have been huge and expensive. Recently it was a 300+ square meter townhouse in "Lärkstan", far more expensive than the house in Malmö. And a year or two ago they looked at something similar:An apartment in Stockholm could be for part time use, just like an island summerhouse and a cabin in the woods.![]()
is that the house mentioned in his book? the one that they basically went to the people living there and said - we want to live here...how much will it cost for you to leave?
and then...they had the house "lowered"...since they were unable to extend the property fence for some reason?

Yes. And they bought the Stockholm / Resarö house the same way. It wasn't for sale. But he had visited Olof Mellberg and really liked the area, so he rang the door to to the neighbor and said "Hello, I'm Zlatan. I want your house."

We're the gossip girls. Lovin' it.![]()
If you have a horse in the living room you're not like the rest.Well Zlatan said in his book that the left it to Helena to take command of the renovation of the house and considering she spent 22 million (!!!!!!) to fix up the house (and I don't think that includes the furniture or the stuffed horse...) her taste seems expensive so I wouldn't be surprised if a 300+ square meter townhouse was supposes to be a weekend home.

He's the kind of neighbor everyone should have. He'll fix your plumbing, move your lawn and defend against burglars.Mellberg, I bet he's a really nice neighbor

We are not gossiping we are discussing current events![]()
Just a couple of comments:
First, what's the point of this, you are just picking the matches that suits your argument, a "presentation" like that is just the perfect example of the phrase, "lies, damn lies and statistics". Like there was no Inter - Milan match where he scored the only goal and we won playing with 10 men for almost one half, or the Super-Coppa Italiana where he scored and we won again.
Second, Lenardo's Inter was a good side? They were leaking goals like crazy. And at this time can you really say that the current Juve is in good form, they have won only two of their last eight league games!
Third, the matches Zlatan has played for Milan against Juve he's scored one and "assisted" two goals, that's all the goals Milan scored in those matches, so even though we have conceded more goals than we scored in some of those matches he still has produced as an attacker.
Besides that, do you think maybe it's a bit difficult playing against your old team when you are being targeted with racial abuse from the fans, and that it may make it harder for you? Yesterday it sounded a lot like the Juve fans were chanting ZINGARO very loudly after his freekick, and that's just what I could hear through my TV, I don't know what it was like in the field, but I know for a fact that in the two last matches against Juve in Milan Juventus was fined for their fans racial abuse against our players, I think Seedorf was one of the targets.
Fourth, you wanna compare the Holland matches like Zlatan was the only difference but in fact one was a away match in the beginning of the qualifiers with a new Sweden team and coach, where Sweden made a big mistake in the beginning, actually it was a lot like the Arsenal away match that way with a nervous defense from an early goal after an individual mistake and suddenly the goals were rolling in. The second match was at home at the end of the qualifiers, the team and coach had more time together, Holland had a lot of injuries and nothing to play for since they were already qualified, but Sweden had to win. Sweden isn't even the only small team that's won against them recently.
The funny thing is you wanna mock things like Zlatan being voted best player in the league (go make fun of the Serie A players who voted for him), and him being of importance to his team but at the same time when it suits your argument you wanna blame him when we don't win too, it's a team game you know, it doesn't just depend on one player, there are soo many different variables.
Haha legendYes. And they bought the Stockholm / Resarö house the same way. It wasn't for sale. But he had visited Olof Mellberg and really liked the area, so he rang the door to to the neighbor and said "Hello, I'm Zlatan. I want your house."![]()

I didn't include the 1-0 Inter game because they were shit at the time, having only won one of their last 5 games. Leonardo's Inter was better than Benitez' and they had won 4 of their last 5 games. Juve were pretty good the first half of last season, and pure shit in the 2nd half.
Juve were coming from a 5-0 win over Viola and had several important players returning.
Shouldn't we be worrying about his back instead of paying attention to the haters?
Read somewhere that both of his conditions aren't as bad as they were initially. Wouldn't be surprised to see him starting on Saturday against Roma. We all know how he did against them earlier in the season.Yep. I haven't heard a word about it beyond just that he has "back pain."
Any updates? Fit for Roma and Barca??

Being a bit alarmist again, eh CdS?CdS has "Emergenza continua. Allarme Milan, fermi Ibra e Thiago Silva" on the front page this morning, I'm hoping they are just making up stuff as ususal.

acerвιc wιт;1283193 said:Ibrahimovic playing within the starting XI hinders Milan in the pressing sense. Ibrahimovic isn't the type of player who is going to constantly charge at the opposition and force them to play that extra pass or close down attacking spaces. Another aspect of Milan's game which suffers is its ability to counterattack at pace. Ibrahimovic slows up play, which enables the opposition defense to re-position itself. There is no questioning Ibrahimovic's ability; however, playing against the big European teams Milan's this style is not quite as effective. Teams need to exploit space by increasing the passing and pressing tempo of a match. Smaller clubs will undoubtedly sit back and this works in Ibrahimovic's favour; though, when doing it against bigger teams, they are apt enough to deal with the situation and defend it to a better degree.
Milan's play is much more fluid without Ibrahimovic and there is a lot of movement.
