And you say Milan is ugly.
Presenting the long lost cousin of Beavis and Butthead.

Forget his looks. His arrogance gives him bonus points. THAT celebration, damn he's a boss. I have to admit I did steal his celebration on a couple of pro evolution winning goals. :o :D

It's not only quality. Montolivo experience and leadership will be very needed too. He will need to take a huge responsability here, become a reference, a leader and pull the strings.

Ambro is all the midfield leadership we got now. The center midfield that won Scudetto - Gattuso - Boss - Seedorf is gone. Flamini, Nocerino, Muntari & co all do their jobs, but they're all players for supporter roles... Montolivo must be this men.

Too true. One thing where Montolivo definitely beats Aquilani is that he has learned to take responsibility. Aquilani had Totti and De Rossi to lead the way at Roma and he was kind of the spoiled little homegrown talent that everyone loved and spoiled. That could very well be a reason why he struggled to prove himself anywhere since he left Roma.

But Montolivo, he established himself at lower levels. No one did him any favors. He learned to grow and become a leader at Fiorentina.

Football is not just by talent but also by characters. It's an important factor on the pitch and off it. With guys like Rino, Van Bommel and Nesta gone, Montolivo is a start to replicate that sort of leadership at Milan.

I'm very confident he'll step up his game here and prove himself a world class player.

fiero might be available if aquilani leaves...

Bingo. :D

I agree with fiero and sven .. i had one issues with aqua .. he doesnt manage the game wel .. great through balls and good passes and excellent heart to put in shitty tackles but he fades away a lot .. since december he couldnt be a regular and tbh ..i totally forgot how a god aqua looked like ..

I think management was right to pick monty over aqua .. aqua can be a great rotational player who in time can be a starter .. porr guy is in loan forever .. but I cannot say anything bad to milan management .. BTW how can aqqau be so unfit after 2 months  :fp:

Monto will be great for us. Big upg from aqua imo. Aqua just to damn week and poor stamina aswell. Good feet no doubt but thats not enough. Hate watching players beeing outmuscled or outrun like aqua frequntly was.

If only he breaks the shackles and reaches his potential; Montolivo has the the game to become one of the best in the world, hands down. And, the good thing is his entire family are Milaniste! :star:

Any news on number?

P.S. - our new Monty catchphrase:

How desperate are you that you would call upon such lost creatures to defend you

Nocerino IMO, shouldnt start. He limits our play, but coming off the bench he injects energy and can add something
better than the right tbh
Yea, he really sucks on the right. In addition, he really puts a lot of pressure on other midfielders because he doesn't really add anything to defense. On top of that, he doesnt add anything to the offense other than scoring.

i think honestly, having a playmaker will seriously up nocerino's game. ibra alone was able to assist the noc, imagine a playmaker there reading his runs to the box. he'd be chasing top scorer

but i'd love him to start slide tackling more. i think i'd blow right there and then if he does nesta's

he really needs to work on his tackling if he's to make a case to start for us.

maybe 24/7 lockdown training with Rino?

edit: talking about noce. ;)
