Milan defended worse but conceded fewer chances. Your logic doesn't add up in that case.

Against Milan they had fewer chances but too more. Against Chelsea they had many many more but took fewer.

But Wild - Barca didnt blow the doors off us either and we had a very poor defensive year.

Anyways, its one of those arguments that would always happen because it cant be put to the test.

Milan , Juve & Inter will surely play better , am not saying otherwise.
But am talking about the rest.

And I dont disagree that a Barca / Real wouldnt dominate. I just dont think it would be the insane level of scoring. You already admitted that the league wouldnt be as unbalanced.

I guess we are just discussing the degree of dominance

I have seen nothing this season or last that would lead me to believe your average Serie A team can defend better than teams Barca and Real are used to facing in La Liga or the CL. Some of the goals I have seen conceded are just as bad as everywhere else.

Right now only Milan will bother Real & Barca.
So how will it be balanced having one team to beat for Barca or Real ?
I think Juve wont harass them much specially up front & Inter will get humiliated with the chaos they are in.

So you give teams like Inter, Napoli Juve even Udine no chance in a one off game to not get humiliated?

I think you give Barca and Real too much credit because of what you see in Spain or maybe I give them too little.

Maybe true.
Inter am sure they will get humiliated by Barca & specially Real.
Udi wont stand a chance.
Juve doesnt have a bite up front to bother them.
Napoli are dangerous up front but they arent organized enough in the back.
But I say they wont stand a chance coz if Barca or Real were to play in the league then they will get use of those teams & they will know to to crack them.
I gave an example or Chelsea since no team in SerieA is able to perform as good as they did defensively & Barca were still able to create chances like crazy.
Milan on the other hand are more organized & Barca had to much respect for us , they feared is in a way.
Real will probably beat us easily than Barca.
We are strong mentally but weak physically so vs Barca it was like a chess game but Real will simply out run & out muscle Milan.
And unless we were lethal upfront we wont stand a chance.

The moment I started hating his guts:

Master of manipulation and hypocrisy, responsible for introducing dirty tactics at Barcelona such as diving and complaining.

Let me borrow a sentence from Cassano - hes as fake as monopoly money. Fuck Pep Guardiola.

As a tactician I respect him a lot. Hes a tactical mastermind, more dedicated and diligent than Mourinho, hence better in that aspect. Creating that 3-4-3, the insane pressing game, adapting Mascherano to CB, recognizing Alexis Sanchez as the perfect fit for his team... all masterstrokes. I feel he's limiting himself by being so rigid and stubborn about possession and tiki taka; if he accepted there is another way and that you can mix it up, he would have been even better. He is a brilliant coach no doubt about it, underrated in terms of mind games and motivation in which he is also as good as, or even better than Mourinho.

I hate him as a person. His constant acts of humbleness are fake, they are nothing but part of his scheming. He is agenda driven and dishonest, translating all that to his players. Just as his players are actors on the field, hes an actor off it, its just harder to perceive because its more subtle. But hes not a nice guy as people think; the image he assumes is part of his whole strategy, which by default makes him far from a naive person which is the impression that he wants to make. To achieve what he has he needed to be ruthless and sneaky, traits that are not associated with him in the public eye.

Messi/Ronaldo would not score these many number of goals if they were in Serie A. Take this as a fact without any doubts. Guaranteed by:

How is this kid Isco playing for Malaga? I've seen a little of him. Seems to be a very good dribbler with decent pace and some very good passing for a 19 year old. Ain't piixie sized either. Anyone here know more about the kid?

wtf more than half of them aren't fiascos.

judging by this criteria even Ruud van Nistelrooy is a fiasco signing. ridiculous

Why has Van Nistlerooy flopped at Malaga? Only scored 5 goals in 30 odd games. Has he declined that much?

The standards are unrealistic really. If it was any other top club, 70-80 percent of those wouldn't have been fiascos, including Kaka. But at Madrid everything is magnified and the expectations are incredible.

I mean Robben, Sneijder and Robinho fiascos. These guys won Madrid two league titles, but that still isn't enough according to some. Owen scored 20 goals in the season he was here, mainly from the bench. Reyes, Cannavaro, Emerson, Heinze... all were great for Madrid. Its simply ridiculous.

btw manu fan, RVN is finished at the top level, he's really just not able to cope anymore. I love the guy but he needs to go to a lower league

Do people even read about who these 30 fiascos are, or just the title? :fp:

Hmmm i was bored and started watching Sevilla vs Rayo Valacano. Apparently Kanoute's last game for sevilla.

And i must say i am super impressed by Navas at how selfless he is despite being world class. First he gets a 1 on 1 opportunity which a player of his class would finish off with ease and he chooses to pass it to reyes. Next he gets an absolutely open goal and decides to pass the ball to Kanoute so that he gets his farewell goal instead.

 i salute you sir.
