Inflated stats bro

He is a CB, so of course he would have a higher passing accuracy

But his long ball accuracy is :star:

Plus, I really don't see why he doesn't take our FKs more often. He has more power and accuracy than Ibra does and most of the time his FKs lead to a goalscoring situation

Absolutely, but I think what's telling is the amount of passes he's made rather than the success rate. It's quite amazing that no outfield player in Europe, other than Pirlo, has made more accurate passes per game than Silva. Third on the list is van Bommel, not surprising given our hoofball style for most of the season.

Edit: accurate long passes, obvs

Van Bommel is actually pretty good with long balls, regardless of our style of play

@charbel i saw it in an article 81-83% sometime ahead .. dude is a beat .. he is so fucking intelligent and so comfortable on the ball .. and he has good speed .. We need another solid /defensive CB .. when he plays with mexes or yepes .. he has to stay back .. We have three ball playing CB  one is too aggressive .. a young yepes and silva would have been fucking awesome

buy vidic :o

VAn bommel is a god from mount olympus .. deal with it (kratos??)

AC Milan News ‏@Milanello

T. Silva's agent: "I promise that I’ve never had any contact with Manchester City. And I don't know Mancini personally."

T. Silva's agent: "What does Mancini know about PSG and Barça? He works for City. Thiago Silva has a contract with Milan."

T. Silva's agent: "PSG and Barça are 2 great clubs and it would be an honor if they were interested in him," --> "but they haven’t spoken to me and Milan haven’t told me anything about those clubs being interested in Thiago Silva." --> "Therefore there is nothing concrete in these rumors."

T. Silva's agent: "If there are any offers for Thiago Silva currently? No, absolutely not."

T. Silva's agent: "Thiago Silva wants to stay at Milan, but if the club wants to sell him, then that's another discussion."

T. Silva's agent: "If Milan are in financial difficulty? I don't think so, but if they are then they have to give us a concrete offer."--> "and most importantly; an offer that satisfies my client."

In the end it comes down to whether Berlu will succumb to his greed after seeing City money. Thiago Silva has always said the same, that he is not going to anywhere if Milan wants him to stay.

It brings great joy to see Thiago being Captain of Brazil, only 26 caps. He is probably the full time captain now, since Lucio is on his way out, and Robinho is not worth mentioning.

He even captains the team when Ronaldinho, Elano Alves and Julio Cesar are around.

can't see lucas leiva having a bigger personality in the dressing room than silva, seems like a quiet bitch :D

mano put him as captain because he's a biased fuck, he was gremio's captain when mano was there :o

lucas leiva to mano is what montolivo is to prandelli.

lucas leiva is an awesome player ..its a shame that he was injured ... very good midfielder we should have bought him instead of aqua .. he is clearly better player since he is a brasilian

Thiago Silva has joined Zlatan Ibrahimovic in demanding new signings. “To win, Milan need quality reinforcements.”

Riccardo Montolivo and Bakaye Traoré have arrived, but they were free transfers from Fiorentina and Nancy.

“Ibra and I want the same thing, which is for Milan to win,” the Brazilian told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“This season it was so-so, therefore to win we need quality reinforcements...”

However, the defender linked with Manchester City and Barcelona has shot down transfer rumours.

“This club is my home. I feel great and have been embraced here. Adriano Galliani said it clearly: ‘You are not for sale, you’re not leaving here.’

“I was pleased to have it confirmed that I am fundamental for this team. I want to stay here and I dream of becoming a ‘bandiera’ for the club like Alessandro Nesta was. I don’t see where the problem is...

“Before going on international duty with Brazil, I spoke to Galliani. He made me feel important and told me to relax on my future. I am perfectly relaxed.

“Could I become captain one day? It would be fantastic and I’d be ready for that.”

Thiago Silva missed the last two months of the season due to muscular problems, but has recovered and played in a friendly against Denmark.

“I am in good shape and played well. I couldn’t wait to get back on to the field. The injury was my fault, as the Coach and fitness staff did not rush my recovery. I wanted to play against Roma at all costs, despite the fact I was not in the best condition, and I hurt myself badly.

“Going back, I would not make the same decision and maybe our season might’ve been different.”

Many look to losing Thiago Silva as the key moment in Milan’s season, as they were without their star defender in the Champions League quarter-final with Barcelona and the closing stages of the Scudetto race.

“To say I have regrets is an understatement. I am still furious at how things went and ask myself how it was possible to lose a Scudetto that way. We had a four-point advantage and finished up four points behind Juventus.

“We’ll make up for it next season. Right now I want to win the Olympics with Brazil, then the Champions League would be the ultimate.”

great words from our future capitan

Thiago Silva: 'Milan need to spend'
By Football Italia staff

I don't think Berlu gives a fuck about Thiago Silva and Ibra demands.

So it was Silvas own fault and not Allegris?

I want people to write fuck you Silva instead of fuck you Allegri! If someone even dares.

Grande Allegri! Fuck the haters.
