No I aint surprised, I won't be surprised even if he left. We being fans stay loyal to the club but these are professionals with ambitions and want to win trophies. For last couple of years our goal in the beginning of the season has been to qualify for the CL and nothing more. I wonder how that affects the mentality of players like pato, TS etc who are yearning to hold some silverware. I am pretty sure they might have thought " what if I moved to chel$ki or Real merda or bartha ect, I might get hold of CL next year and not wait for 3-4 years".

Don't look too much into this. Do you think its just a coincidence that both Pato and Silva's futures have conveniently come into doubt of late? The management is very lucky there's a world cup this summer ... so most fans wont have their complete attention being distracted by football's most prestigious tournament.

However, the world cup is only a month long ... what will they do thereafter? How will they be able to keep the fans at bay?

This is getting ridiculous now ... Instead of wasting time, energy and money on figuring ways to come up with excuses + master PR-stunts, they should do things that will actually benefit the club.

And yes, Berlu is responsible. Five years ago, we were linked to every top player in football, and there was genuine reason to believe so. Now, ambitious clubs are raiding us of the few good players we have, because its a known fact that we sell our best players. But now with the delaying & the rumors seems that that B is gonna act like shit once again.

They can bid what they want for Thiago Silva, I would never sell him, he was so awesome last season. He will be very important for us in the future, he's a wc defender and surely could lead our defense for a long time.
Only sad thing is that B&G maybe won't let him do that because they will sell him. I really fear losing him and our other young great players because I know that our management is stupid enough to do that. They better try everything to get rid of useless old players who can't run anymore instead of selling our best young players.
