Bullshit. You wanna talk about playing style? Milan have been fluid and played well for like 3-4 games this season. Juve with pirlo play well almost every game. The difference is clear to see. Milan are waaay more static than juve.

Is it so difficult for people to accept that our loved ones might not be perfect in every aspect? Pirlo is a brilliant footballer. My favourite non-defender since Zidane. But I absolutely know that he didn't try beyond a point from 2007-2010. Simply because he didnt think he would succeed beyond what he has done already, with that Milan, even if he tried.

You cannot treat every person the same way. Some are hard-boiled characters - like Gattuso - who'll always burst a gut. Some are different, and only do the bare minimum required to satisfy their own personal goal.

Pirlo was part of the bunch of people who achieved pretty much everything by mid-2007. He was tremendously demotivated, and he didnt care.

Now he has a new project, his self-worth has been questioned by Allegri's indifference to him leaving, and he's back to his best (He was still better in 2005, btw - if any of you watched him back then)..

As I've said a million times, ditching Pirlo has been a decision that's working out well for everyone involved.

And his contribution from 2002 to 2007 has most certainly made him a legend from my viewpoint. No matter how average he was post that.

Sometimes a transfer is what's needed to re-fuel motivation. Remember he was ready to pack for London in 2009 until Berlusconi blocked it.

I'm strictly talking about his attitude. I have no interest in discussing the quality of his performances as it has been discussed probably more than anything else in this forum, and we have all memorized the arguments both pro and against, and pretty much everyone has picked his side long time ago.

He was content to be just a passenger when the team was struggling. Like Ronaldinho. Had no heart. That's the difference between him and the other senatores Ambro, Rino, and Nesta. They had won it all but still fought every game for the team not to struggle. They weren't content with the team suffering. And that's why they've won once again, and in Milan's shirt.

Clarence is a different story. He's in between. Usually content like Pirlo to remain just a passenger, i.e. not take the game by the balls and influence it by himself, but when there's a chance to win something he brings his A game. Take last season for example: He was abysmal early on, and around Feb/March rumors were surfacing that he wasn't going to be offered an extension. Then BAM he hit amazing form to help Milan finish the scudetto job and earn a new contract.

Pirlo no longer had balls with Milan. He would do well if the team was doing well. He would never carry the team when it was struggling and therefore there's no regrets in letting him go.

So he wasnt good for a period of five years which also mean he cant be considered good not to mention world class.

People claim Milan were a lot better after van boss' arrival last season: but they forget Clarence had a fine second half of the season, and that when mvb was faltering towards the end, Clarence took control of the midfield. This season, he had a surprisingly good nocerino at the start, and now Ambro's had to put in massive shifts.
