what a bitter milan fan ..
Yeah & also clearly he was motivated in Milan since he is a prohe clearly never wanted to go. Ladri kidnapped him and brainwashed him.
Lack of creativity? Blame the other midfielders. Weak defense? Blame the other midfeilders for handicapping our boss and the shit defenders. Back to square one, with a little twist - dlpb (deep lying pseudo boss)
Not his fault of course. Its the management's.
I'm thinking that if we can't afford someone of true quality, keep nesta, mexes, boner and yepes (if he's fit) and sign another cb. Move silva to the holding role and vuala ...
Thiago Silva moving to midfield means weakening the defense a lot. I truly believe Thiago Silva is the reason our defense is solid most times, without him, I expect it to be weak. Van Bommel in front of the defense also is important for the strength of our defense, he and Thiago Silva (as central defender) are key for our defensive part of the team.
And as long as your see Van Bommel as a Pirlo replacement, you talk gibberish. You expect Van Bommel to be the playmaker Pirlo is, which you can't, which is not why is he here. He is not that kind of player, they are different a lot. Milan's squad lacks playmakers, or you think it doesn't? You think Van Bommel is a playmaker? That he is one with lots of creativity?
{edit} to clearify it more:
Van Bommel is signed to replace Pirlo's position, not Pirlo's role. Allegri wants a defensively strong play in front of the defense instead of a playmaker. The role of playmaking should now be elsewhere in midfield, like RCM with Aquilani, but of course he gets dumped, or Seedorf somewhere, but he is done. Juventus' midfield is kinda opposite, they have the playmaker deep in the middle with defensive power around him...
Don't hate for Van Bommel for not being Pirlo, but understand the differences between positions and roles. And if anything, Van Bommel as anchor made us defensively so much better/stronger (we received less goals against) - we just lack playmakers...
GreatKalu the Great will never get that. Van Bommel is way better for this Milan than Pirlo.
pirlo can go fuck himself. lazy piece of shit here in the last 3 or 4 seasons. you play for a great club like Milan and you cant motivate yourself for the shirt then you can go do one.
Pirlo was playing pretty well at LCM when he was moved there, and he was having a great game at Roma before they hurt him to slow him down.

Think of it like this: Juventus were only able to win the Scudetto due to a player that Milan had created a player who we pretty much didn't need to win the 2011 scudetto- I can live with that![]()
Basically what you guys are saying is ... its not VBOss' fault ... its the squad he plays with. Well, isn't this the same thing people who appreciate Pirlo were saying while he was here? And if thats the case, then why give up on our main source of creativity in the middle for this brute who ... like it or not ... HASN'T been solid defensively this season. Do you guys remember that pass to the fodder striker in the UCL group stages? I mean honestly ... that was as colossal an error as you can find. Solid? Fuck no. Even fairy, slow, weak, "watch my hair!" Pirlo ran circles around this so-called boss.
I told you last summer itself that this guy wasn't good enough for Milan. And after a below-average season, Milan still wants to keep him? For what exactly? Acceptance of mediocrity which is what VBoss is? Fuck that shit. I want this loser out

How's that Sesame Street song go? Thats probably the only way to get through ... all of things have one thing in common ... Pirlo on the ball, VBOss trying to get it. Both holding mids. Sums it up really.

"Replace my Milan legacy with this guy?" laughs inside and grins ...
huh?
And GreatKalu, if only Pirlo was trying as hard as you when he was still here, he would have done so much better... like Van Bommel did
And how do you know pirlo never worked hard enough einstein? Did you train with him everyday? Did you get any news of him partying all night long and not turning up next day? Did the coach say he was anything but a model professional?
I am 100% referring to what I saw on the pitch, and he didn't try hard enough there. That was easy to see for me, and later Pirlo admitting he lacked motivation is a logical explanation, which I did figure was the case with him.
People have kept the standards of trying hard as running hardcore for 90 mins and slapping people's faces like rino. Andrea can never do that. He will always have the lazy style about him.
And its quite naive of you to take his comment when he was leaving to generalize his motivation for the last 4 seasons. When the coach doesn't want you , there is hardly anything to do than look for ambitious project elsewhere. Dont expect him to just stay here and stay on the bench . He has proven this season that he is worth far more than that .
