Yeah ... so far, the senators have collectively shown a lot of respect for Allegri. Thats a good sign. You got to admire Clarence's commitment and professionalism though. Even in the training vids posted, both he and Gattuso looked hungry to get the season started.

Seedorf next to renew and cut

The Dutch attacking midfielder will extend his contract with the Rossoneri to 2012, as he is set to take a 30-40% cut in his wages.

Seedorf, 34, has failed to retrain a first-XI place last season under Leonardo and he looked off-form in many matches, despite scoring some really important goals for il Diavolo.

Ac Milan also are working on the renewal of Kaladze:-)S)

he should break his contract & help to youngster's coaches, not play longer.:head:

He was awesome in the pirlo role... I want to see him play there this season when Pirlo is having bad days.

all in all, Seedorf has been around for to long. I hope this is his last season with us as a player...

I'll contribute to the Seedorf appreciation month with a few quotes from him:

"Se hai solo i piedi non fai strada, si vince qua nella testa"
("If you only have the feet, you won't make it, you win here, in the head")

"Do you have any vice?" "I have four kids, you draw conclusions. And I love the spa"

"You're first a champion in life, and then in sport, if not you're just a great footballer, tennis player, etc".

"Prima fare, lavorare sempre, poi parlare, e la etica made in Seedorf"
("First do, always work, then talk, it's the ethics made in Seedorf").

All from a Vanity Fair Italia interview.

actually he's running on sand, and they are running on grass. i suppose that running on sand is different that running on grass because sand grains move out of the area where your foot is going to land as soon as pressure is applied. when on grass, the grass just bends and compresses, but its still there.

as to explaining the clothes, well....idk maybe he lost his black outfit?

yeah agreed. Love the guy but it's time to step down. He can't be a starter anymore, not only for fitness reasons but also for tactical ones. He wants the ball to often and doesn't let it go fast enough. Wont work in a team with Dinho, Ibra and Pirlo.

Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf will be facing some familiar opponents in the Champions League this season, after being pitted against his former teams Real Madrid and Ajax, as well as Ligue 1 outfit Auxerre in what many are calling 'the group of death'.

However, the veteran is looking forward to the matches in Group G and reminisced about his past in Europe's most prestigious club competition.

"It's a very special group for me. When I saw the draw I laughed for ten minutes as Auxerre was the team I faced in my first quarter-final," recalled the player to Milan Channel.

"When I wore the shirt of Ajax at 16 [years of age]. I came in after five minutes because of an injury to someone and played almost the entire match. With Ajax I won my first Champions League and with Real Madrid and Milan my second, third, and fourth.

"It is a group that makes me smile. These games give me a lot of enthusiasm because I get to return 'home' three times."

Champion :)
