AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato plans to play for Brazil at the London Olympics.

Pato has missed much of the campaign due to a series of thigh problems that baffled medics, but has been declared ‘healed’ in time for the Olympics in London.

“I have been working hard for a month, but effectively since the match with Barcelona on April 3 I have only trained,” the striker told the Corriere dello Sport.
