I don't think he good enough for top level futbol anymore and hasn't been for a while. yes, he had one good stretch during the second half of last season but overall in the last 5 or so season he has been pretty crap.

For a few games in the right situation.

You cant pay a player big money for that, especially when he thinks he ought to play more but isnt showing enough on the pitch.

e simply isnt active enough to be a reliable player for a top division campaign and the fact he needs time on the ball makes it worse. He isnt a Scholes that will one time it around until he can carve out that great pass.
