Whoa:eek: , Seedorf had an absolutely brilliant game against Man U today. He was absolutely instrumental,
with a brilliant goal and a great assist on the 3rd goal. I haven't seen Seedorf play this well in a looooooong time.
I just hope that he's on form for the final.

the man played suppaaaahh! agree with r3dman, given the role behind two strikers makes him showing his real creativity, from 3-4 matches i saw him showing his speed, he still got it, and i must admit, today was the best seedorf i've ever seen this season, contributing a marvellous goal, and brilliant assist to kaka', superb technique of 90 minutes!!

Seedorf's abundant CL experience can help him release all of his potential in such big games.

^ I think it should be something like this, from acmilan.com:

SEEDORF: ‘It was a really exciting evening. I want to thank everyone that supported us and all the people that helped us keep our faith. We are upholding Italy’s honour on the most important stage in Europe. I have felt something unusual in these games; I have felt that I must grow to help the team to be decisive. Like I always say these aren’t the games that give you the right condition, it is the other games that help you to prepare and face a side like Manchester United in the best way possible. Today, I didn’t have any doubts about qualifying with a great victory. We did well in the first leg. We worked hard up until now and it was only right that we went through. I was only sorry that Maldini wouldn’t be here, but yesterday he calmed me down by telling me that I had to stay calm. And that’s just how it happened. Kakà and I work really well together. Some months ago I said that he must stay close to me, playing a bit further ahead. We understand each other’s moves even with our eye closed. We are always continuing to improve.’

The rest of them...

An overzealous vindictive + bitter mod found it offensive that I congratulated Clarence on showing up + deleted my post.

I say it as often as necessary :

THANK YOU, Clarence, for showing up... BIG game playa... ;) :devil2:

that's right, seedorf is one of milan's main man .. can't really see milan without him .. he has been unsung hero all the time not only recent weeks.. great player who controls the ball and changes the way of the whole game..

Unsung hero all the time on the forum.
Seedorf is Milan's essence ans has always played out of position.
Now that he does play in the number 10 position he delivers.
Let us not forget all the other heros from last night, it would be selfish of me to praise Seedorf only, Gattuso for example was instrumental to nullify ballerina Ronaldo C. and co.

Great game by him last night. This is one of the best seasons in Milan for him. Great goal. He's great duo with Kaka.

And in the end, when he cried that was priceless :)

Fantastic Seedorf

What a rare gym. people should be bold enough to what their heart is really saying, some say he is old, others he finish yet their teams assign two players to mark him. Who say they dont have right to be afraid of him, can they pose a player with three EUFA trouphs with three clubs. you have'nt seen nothing yet wait till he makes it four. they legend will continue to match on.

Clarence has been in fantastic form of late, and has really taken me by surprise.

Uchman, please continue to post your views on Milan players in the respective player's official thread. Thanks :)

The most weakness for Seedorf is his condition is so unsteady.

Nobody can always keep the best condition but mostly, the best world classic players will usually play 60% excellent games, 30% ok games and 10% bad games in the season. But Seedorf usually played 30% excellent games, 40% ok games and 30% bad games. When he played bad games, he played very very bad, but fortunately, when he played excellent games, he usually will the man of the match.

The good thing for us in this season is Seedorf played excellent games in this season in the game that we must need to win in CL, like we won Bayern and Man U. And yes, he keeped this good condition last for almost a month, this is very good.

Considering the span of his illustrious career, I still say he has a lot of fuel in him. He was amazing! Hands down his new position as AMC with Kaka and a striker up front has done wonders! Some times the simplest solutions lie right in front of one's eyes and yet we take our time to see them. We saw this one right on time.

Seedorf's positional and passing play yesterday was awesome, and you dont give him the ball on the top of the box, its the sweet spot for this legendary player... Exactly the same he did at Torino.

I also wanted to add that he gets a lot less appreciation in the shadows of Kakas and Gilas and Nestas. This old fart can still shoot those rockets! :D

Seedorf has 50% redeemed himself with a goal and assist in the Bayern game. Forza Seedy, you can shoot one or two crackers too, you know!

I actually think this has so far been his best season at Milan - scoring wise at least. What is it, nine goals? Doubt he's scored more before.

Quite touching actually ... but what did we expect? From being jeered whenever he touched the ball at the San Siro a few month ago to the crowd exploding after his fabulous strike. Quite an emotional turnaround for him.

I was never wrong about Seedorf.
And lately he has shown how he should play & thats another proof that he wasn’t giving us what we deserve b4 this winter brack.
He performed good as soon as the fans start whistling him + Ancelotti benching him + Gourcuff settling in.
So that why I want Ancelotti 2 b replaced not coz he is a bad coach since I know he will do good with another team but coz am sure another good coach will give us more motivated player & thats something Ancelotti didn’t do 4 years.

The same goes 4 Kaka by the way but maybe Kaka is fired up coz he is happy with Ronaldo.
Maybe soon Pirlo will find his reason 2 do his job ;)

I think the topper has to be Dida, from going on eBay to the fans chanting his name whenever he practically breathed on the ball. :)

But I'll tell you, CS sure as hell picked the right time to get back into terrific form. One reason why we're back in the final is because the team is peaking at the right time, and he's been a major catalyst in it.

The best thing is he's scoring crucial goals in the most important games. May put a fiver on him scoring first in Athens. What a big game player

Is vindication of previously persistent abusive comments towards Clarence really necessary? Be selfless for a change + give full credit where it's due.

And much of it has to do with the revived belief reinstalled within the fans. There's a bunch on pre-game vids on youtube (especially during the announcements of the lineups) which best portray the atmosphere at the San Siro last Wednesday. I really must be in attendance at least once during huge games such as United's ... must!

It's all not over Clarence ... one more epic performance and you'll probably never be erased from the history books - both in Milan and the rest of Europe.

Seedorf commits to Milan Tuesday 15 May, 2007

Milan’s Clarence Seedorf wants to end his career at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. “I don’t think I will move again,” he underlined.

The midfielder joined the club in 2002 from city rivals Inter and he insists the outfit still offers him the motivation to go on – despite winning a Scudetto, Champions League and Italian Cup there.

“A player like me finds new stimuli every year and this is very exciting,” stated the Dutchman on Tuesday.

“My contract is still fairly long and I would not like to move at the age of 34 or 35,” added the 31-year-old Dutchman, who is tied to Milan until June 30, 2011.

“I would like to end my career here. This is a special group of people and it would be very hard to leave for something else that I do not know.”

Seedorf has been in fine form of late and the man who scored in the 1-1 with Catania on Sunday is looking forward to another Champions League showdown against Liverpool.

“Reaching the Final was one of our season objectives, along with ending the campaign in the top four positions,” he continued.

“We worked hard and we knew we could do something important. Facing Liverpool again will be just another motivating factor for us,” explained the player, who has won the European Cup with a record three different outfits – Real Madrid, Ajax and the Rossoneri.

“I am sure we can do well, we have gained experience and we know how to prepare for this kind of match. We want to lift the Cup and this time it will not end on penalties.”
