I agree and the fact that Klose is so selfless reflects on Podolski's stats, making him look like a world beater when he really isn't one. i found podolski way more impressive than gomez

true that podolski played very well today, but without gomez's great work to start both goal moves, germany would have a nice big zero next to their name. i like the fact that gomez showed how mobile and skilled he is for his size and the fact that he can creat for others as well as score.

We could end our whole summer transfers really quickly by doing the following:

1.) Buy Mario Gomez
2.) Buy Christian Maggio
3.) Buy Michele Canini
4.) Sell Christian Brocchi
5.) Sell Dario Simic

We should be able to come out gaining money by getting Maggio and Canini and selling Simic and Brocchi. We should use the money we made from their sales and and use some in order to buy mario gomez who is valued around 19 million. Basically this is a relatively cheap way to ensure that our squad is the absolute best around for next year. Gomez will be our number 1 striker partnering Pato. Maggio will switch with Oddo at right back with Zambro and Janku on the left. Canini can be the understudy of Nesta and Maldini and be a sub in for some less important games. Brocchi sucks so we should get rid of him and have already got antonini to take his place. I have no complaints about Simic but Celtic wants him, he wants Celtic, we can get good money for him and get a young Canini to learn under Nesta and Maldini. All while still remaining financially cheap.

Last night was the first time ive seen Gomez and to be honest i didnt think he was anything special. He has very little pace and missed a sitter. Yes he set up the goal, but he didnt set the world alight for me. Maybe i have very high standards, but at the moment i just think there are better players out there we should go for;

Frankly, I wish the kid all the best. He has some skills, and seems to enjoy himself playing. Hopefully he becomes somebody, and a good player for his country.

However, the starting of this thread was nonsense. First, we aren't connected to him in any way, I doubt our "Ruler of the Transfer Market" even knows this kid exists and it's against all forum rules.

To all to some of the people arguments here, I also used to play football as a junior. Though I never was particularly good, I managed to start in the junior team of a local club every once in a while and performed quite well. However, I had a car accident, which left my right knee pretty weak, and my leg gets tired after a few minutes of walking. So I quit both football and swimming, and got a bit overweight, lost all conditioning of the body and now I can barely hold my own playing recreational football for an hour.

I'm not saying that something like that is going to happen to our boy here, it's just that you shouldn't talk prematurely of something, it might bring bad luck, as if hearing my life story wasn't enough

Dont know what the fuss is about Gomez, he played very poorly yesterday which indicates hes good when playing in the league but chockes when it comes to bigger tournaments etc. So spending heavily on him is something milan cant afford and probably wont do after the experience with Gilardino.

We should get Drogba/Eto'o and then a central defender. I saw Boruc yesterday and must say i liked what i saw. Very stable and big strong goalie.

I like Gomez and i would love to see him here. On the other hand Drogba would be a dream too, although he has just 3-4 years left, but he is physically strong and would be marvelous partner with Pato. Although I think Drogba wont come here, especially now that Mourinho joined that shitty Inter.
