He'd also be angry if an orangutan with no formal education and unstable finances impregnated his daughter, then formed a football club which went on to replace Inter as Italy's top team before winning the CL...this year.

I know which one I think is more likely to happen.

calum i cant get your jokes these days:cry:

As for Seedorf, nobody ever said he's talented as hell but he's liability because plays one good game out of 5-6.
How is that any different to rotundinho?
And please don't start with the Seedorf facts, PLEASE.

Multinational businesses such as Accenture regularly call on Clarence to conduct workshops and events where he uses his experience and creative energy – as both a team player and a successful entrepreneur - to promote team-building in a multicultural setting.

btw morrati will be so angry on jose and if adriano comes to milan and win cl this year ;)

I think hell be more angry if we get Recoba instead. But your brazilian fetish doesnt let you see beyond adriano :D:tongue::o

As I said, Ronaldinho gets one good out of two-three. And Seedorf's consistency is more important than Ronaldinho's because he should be the one to control and dictate the game, link up midfield with attack. In a bad game by Ronaldinho, if Seedorf plays well Milan have chances and getting the ball to Ronaldinho he might pull off a moment of magic, but if Seedorf is crap like most of the time, Milan suffer a lot more.

Haha yeah, pirlo is better tha xavi + fab combined and ambro is better than lass, xabi, flams, essien............criticizing these players is pure blasphemy these days:o
Want to change your stance on this comment now? :D

It annoys me when Pool fans constantly hail Dirt Kuyt as the ' Dutch Master'. Seedorf is the real deal, a champion and is the true Dutch Master of the 20th Century.
Kuyt? LOL ... the Neanderthal isn't even worthy of reading the "Clarence Seedorf Facts" :o

Honestly ... Clarence is a living tribute to Dutch football. 4 UCLs worth of tribute!
How did you come to the conclusion that Ronaldinho wasn't motivated? I think he looked pretty motivated out there, but his physical ability let him down. As for Seedorf, nobody ever said he's talented as hell but he's liability because plays one good game out of 5-6. Madrid was just one game albeit a great one, but the way I see it Seedorf is very responsible for the poor league form because he doesn't turn the class on on a consistent basis. He needs to connect the lines of midfield and attack and usually he fails in doing that.
1. For starters, Dinho throwing his hands up in the air, complaining to the ref every single time he was cleanly dispossessed ... not even bothered to at least try and win the ball back or cover for players out of position expecting a pass from him.

2. Clarence is talented as hell. His touch and control this season have put Dinho's to shame.

3. Both Dinho and Clarence have been equally inconsistent. Difference is, when Clarence isn't producing much offensively, he is still providing cover, closing down spaces + working hard. Dinho does this for about 5 minutes in an entire match, and thinks of it as not his job  Did you see how Bori was working his ass off after coming on?

4. Wrong. First, what do you think is Dinho's role? Is he an attacker or a midfielder? If an attacker, he has been getting the ball to his feet ... that means Clarence is doing his job, but Dinho and the rest of the attack are fucking up. If a midfielder, then he should also be working like Clarence does ... i.e., cover spaces + giving us defensive balance.
He'd also be angry if an orangutan with no formal education and unstable finances impregnated his daughter, then formed a football club which went on to replace Inter as Italy's top team before winning the CL...this year.

Don't be too sure. Lucio is, afterall, a mix of an orangutan and a giraffe ...

Exactly how is one player's consistency more important than another's? Every player has an equal responsibility to give their best and be consistent ... Or are you trying to say that Clarence is more important to Milan than Dinho? :conf:

I'll tell you what I think. Kaka' used to drive Milan forward, but Dinho isn't able to do this. Leo played Clarence in the second half as a central AM in a 4-2-3-1 ... Dinho left, Pato right ... It worked, and Clarence + Pirlo were able to drive Milan forward.

However, this was Madrid, who weren't dominating in the center, and if we play against a team like Liverpool or Chelsea, we will struggle. We need some other options in midfield ... and wide players who have pace + are wiling to work defensively.

We should try and get a creative CM soon, but not sooner than an AM who would be an alternative to Dinho ... that should be our priority.

that is all rubbish I don't know where to begin.
1. Ronaldinho got his ass kicked left and right and of course he was going to moan.
2. ridiculous
3. and 4. if you know anything about football you'd have a less narrow minded view about midfielders and attackers. Ronaldihno is a AM/SS whose job is to make the final pass to the strikers or score a goal. Its a known fact that his workrate is poor, but thats why he contributes in a different way.

In an ideal world both should be consistent, but the thing is that even in a poor game Ronaldinho can pull off something and win you the game, while Seedorf's poor game affects the entire game. Ronaldinho's job is the attack, the final third, Seedorf has more range to cover and more often than not he doesn't. Lets not get carried away from his performance against Madrid, we know how he played in the last 2-3 years and that he's one of the main reasons for Milan's underachievement.

1. Its ok to moan. Difference is, Dinho does it 19/20 times + doesn't do anything else but moan. At least show some intent in trying to win the ball back.

2. Watch Clarence more closely. Whenever a ball is passed to him, he kills it with his first touch most of the time ... the ball is dead and in control 19/20 times. Dinho's control of late leaves a lot to be admired.

3. I disagree. C. Ronaldo is an attacking winger much like Dinho is ... yet he does tracks back and covers opposing fullbacks when they push forward. Dinho doesn't do this. Also, he tends to play quite deep most of the time, usually passing to overlapping fullbacks and other mids. To say that his job is to make the final pass is narrow minded, and what I hate about his game.

Clarence has made more final passes than Dinho this season, and is all over the pitch. Wouldn't it then be better for us to have two Clarence's? Why do you think Dinho should be given special treatment? Clarence is doing his job + others, and so wouldn't it be better to have another player like Clarence who wouldn't be much worse than Dinho offensively, yet give us better balance defensively?

The problem is Dinho IMO. When he has a bad game, its like we play with 10 men. When Clarence is having a bad day, you can at least be assured that he will try and close down spaces, drop deep trying to assist deep in midfield. Dinho doesn't even try to do those.

I really thought he would do something special against Madrid, but after seeing how he flopped against Madrid's disorganized + weak defense, I think he's a lost case. Its been almost 15 months since we've been waiting for him to be a valuable player for Milan ... his consistency is letting him down mainly due to his attitude and work ethics. An alternative should be brought in as soon as possible.

In an ideal world both should be consistent, but the thing is that even in a poor game Ronaldinho can pull off something and win you the game, while Seedorf's poor game affects the entire game. Again, you are not comparing them on a level playing field. Take the Marseille game ... Clarence didn't do much, but changed the game with two exquisite passes to Pippo. Or even two nights ago ... on top of that admirable workman performance, he still broke down Madrid's defense with a pass Dinho couldn't produce all night.

In all, Dinho may be the more talented player with more potential ... but Clarence's professionalism and work ethics give him the edge. Add to this his versatility, and I'd think - like you indirectly put it - Clarence is the more important player for Milan.

Such a shame really because Dinho is a talented lad who could do more ... if only he was determined. In the end, an alternative to Dinho is a must ASAP IMO ... and another creative box-to-box midfielder would be an added bonus. Add a LB, and we would have a pretty competitive squad.

Well imo the crucial thing is utilizing potential. As I said, Ronaldinho's work rate leaves a lot to be desired, but generally it has been that way even in his best days. I'm not going to enter a discussion about defensive contribution because it has been talked time and time over - Ronaldinho doesn't help out there. But you keep exaggerating Seedorf's work rate as well, everybody knows that except in games like these against big teams, he is mostly lazy. However, my priority would be getting a replacement for Seedorf, because a better creative CM would get more out of Ronaldinho as well, and he has a much higher ceiling than Seedorf. Getting another AM/SS (I don't know which one you would suggest, because I can't think of any on the market that are better than Dinho and affordable for Milan at the moment) and leaving Seedorf out there would be less beneficial for Milan. If hypothetically Gourcuff played this season instead of Seedorf for Milan, I don't think there would have been a victory against Madrid, but I also don't think Milan would have had this poor season so far overall.

WTF, i dont know how can someone say that seedorf is lazy ? He is one of the rarly ones that run hiss ass off, he's a bit slow with ball, sometimes takes bad shoots, crosses etc but no one can deny that he run his ass off the ball more than most of the team.

Clarence really adds something to our game. In my opinion, Leonardo uses him better than Ancelotti ever did. This season, one could feel Seedorf's importance and contribution to the team. Amazing technique, professionalism, athleticism, and experience.

"why can seedorf play like this every single week"

let's see..

1. you have 38 games in domestic league, most of them against teams who tend to fuck you in the brain...you need hunger to beat those "small" teams

2. you have couple of special games in CL like this one, you don't play every week against Real...motivation is higher

Milan is not crap team, they can damage anyone in this world in this unique games but domestic league is something different...there you need to have more depth and more hunger. Milan is in state of some european competition mentality and it's still lacking that domestic competition since 2006

We don't have a european competition mentality, we have financial reasons above footballing reasons. Let me explain:

Serie A match win = no money
CL match win = money

Serie A Champions = a few million $
CL Champions = shitload of $

Getting as far as possible in CL is a top priority because it makes money. Getting 4 place in the League is understood to be an easy achievement and achievement enough, so there's no need to spend more on that front. That is why we have players like Dinho, Seedorf, Pippo, Pirlo etc. These are players who can decide a game by pulling an brilliant move, but aren't much good at constantly grinding out victories. Face it, this is a cup team, or a money making team, whatever you prefer. And one of the best, really.

About Seedorf, well what can I say. He's been getting better this year, and I've loved him since i can remember. A genius.

I know what you're saying, and I'm prob just being naive, but it makes me uncomfortable to think of our team as a money making team for some reason.

and seedorf was incredible tonite, i can't remember him running like he did in a looong time

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that to make fun of or downplay my favourite club. It's how things are and I'm ok with that. Many clubs go on all fronts for glory but end up in deep debts and trouble, some without even coming close to their goals.

This is a strategy on a global scale, a strategy of remaining competitive while not being a nuisance to the owner who has a country to rule and millions of dollars to count and spend. He just wants to remain in the positive, and with all he's done in the past twenty years, you can't blame him. We are probably the best football club during that time period.

No Sheva replacement & other good players leaving meant Milan went downhill & cannot do the business week in week out as we have seen since 2006.

seedorf will go to flamengo in 2011 or possible 2012. It's his wife's childhood club and he wants to play for them before he retires.
