honestly it would have been worth it to pay him to stay even if you never wanted to play him, Juve would be 10 points further back easily.

We really could have used him here this season too... I think that Nocerino and Prince would have worked really well with him due to their willingness to run and that he would have enhanced the good season Ibra is having

Few people would have liked that more than me BUT if Galliani's REALLY going to practice financial prudence, he has to start somewhere.

Pirlo is 32 (turning 33). He's not physically strong and just had an injury riddled year. To give him a 3 year deal, would have been a bad idea, especially when this concept has continually burnt milan over and over with so many players for last decade.

Yes he bounced back but meh.

As a fan of pirlo, and all he can do, I'm sad we didn't keep him. But as a milan fan who knows what needs to be done... I can't fault Galliani.

I fault management for not replacing him with anyone but a very injury prone player. And a fault management more for thinking aquilani + seedorf can get it done for creativityi n 2012...

how much is a league win though? It was 95% certain that if he left here it would be for Juve, and he has been one of, if not the biggest factor in them contending this season. Paying him to stay increases our chances of winning the league considerably

dumping Flamini and using that money + what we gave to Seedorf or Aqua (for the loan + buy I would have still gone with Aqua) we could have kept Pirlo without really increasing our wage bill.

He was fantastic yesterday, it's a shame that our forwards can't finish to save their lives...

MOTM? How many does he got already? PErformer of the year in your squad?

Barzagli has been juBe's best player. Their fans now think he is better than Silva

I think he is, alongside Barzagli and Buffon.

Barzagli has been great and I think that on form he is up there with Thiago Silva this season. That doesn't mean that he's on par with Thiago Silva because he has only played like this this season, let's see what he does next year in the CL (if we qualify) and at the Euro.

I don't see why it's so hard... Allegri could have adjusted his midfield anyway.

Have 2 mezzala's... pirlo central but not as advanced, anchor behind....

-

I'm sure had pirlo have stayed, he would have found a way to utilize him. He was working on it anyway then he got hurt, and allegri did the right thing in not making a gigantic tactical shift at end of season.

Something like..

on paper....

--Zlatan--Robinho
Urbz--Pirlo--Boateng
--------MVB-----

but with movement of all, it would shift. W/e

errr KPB as mezzal'a?

He sucks pretty hard on the right mezzala position tbh or any mezzala/box to box roles. Didnt the forum already have this debate whether he can play on the right or in the box to box role or not. Pretty much failed against Inter the last time i remember he was played there.

His best position is down the middle. I would prefer Aquilani on the right if u are using that formation

--------Zlatan --- Robinho
---Urby-------Pirlo----Aquilani---
---------------MvB-----------

But then again KPB is more useful to us than Pirlo sooo the best formation is

Zlatan --- Robinho
--------KPB-------
Noce/Urbz--Boss--Aquilani :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Allegri got it right all along. :)

Pirlo wanted a new challenge after winning everything with us. Don't bash him. He is a part of our glorious history.

i would like to see boateng as a second striker with ibra.

and pirlo wouldnt find much space with allegri.. and lets be honest.. pirlo cant protect a defense line like bommel or ambro.. he got talent to play.

Ambro doesnt do it so well anymore, he gives the ball away a lot

Yes, he missed the game against Novara due to yellow card accumulation.

He played with a knee injury for a month(December), during which we consequently witnessed his poorest performance for us this season. However, he's been remarkable since(and before that injury).

Andrea Pirlo dedicated the Juventus victory to Fabrice Muamba, the Bolton player who collapsed today. “We’re all praying for him.”

Muamba collapsed with cardiac problems during the Tottenham-Bolton FA Cup match and is still in intensive care.

“We dedicate the victory to Muamba, as he is our colleague and we are all praying for him,” said Pirlo after a 5-0 win at Fiorentina.

The move that he started which finished with him scoring, was perfection.
